*Note*
Since people keep asking about why Energy Drain over Spirit Drain, the answer is simple: it's more efficient. Spirit Drain's power coefficient is 20 higher than Energy Drain, but I value the healing and damage output component of Energy Drain more than the extra ~10 MP Spirit Drain provides. This is especially true given that Energy Drain is more than sufficient to maintain your MP most situations; so outside of extreme cases, the extra MP that Spirit Drain provides isn't actually netting you anything. You're of course free to use Spirit Drain instead, but I will continue to use Energy Drain over it in all situations.
Also, Sakuya is a Kunistu, meaning that the Belzebub passive still procs in her presence, which is something minor she has over Idunn
Your video of Idun still works, I've used it in my vengeance run and works totally fine!
Ironically I was able to recreate Rozalin's Idun Build just with essences. All I need left is an essence that could give me the great mana spring and I'll be ready to go with her. By the way, do you know where I could get any demon essences with Great Mana Spring in it's repertoire? I fused a Horus in the hopes that I could eventually a Horus Essence, but I'm not sure if leveling up a demon can even give you those essences. Any advice?
I think you can get the essence just by levelling up until it gets the last move, if it doesn’t give you the essence, restart before level in up the demon. I don’t remember quite well where I found that info, but I hope it works for you. If not, eventually you will find someone with the movement in the essence.
@@NaclesYT I ended up getting a Titania essence after realizing that I didn't get one from Horus because I didn't save scum properly with Horus. But I did with Titania so now I'm good on that front.
@@k9thexv630 Also, I've found out that demons with the redlook can give you its essence also. (Refering to demons you encounter in Da'at)
Probably the best channel for SMT content. I remember watching your guides for the original release of SMT V. Definitely giving this a try.

i had battles on hardmode where i used both idun and sakuya at once in my party and it worked wonders. i am playing the game while being purposely underleveled. it's basically like a selfmade godborn mode haha
I actually hate Atlus for making a directly better version of Idunn. Why not make them have different strengths? Now there's no absolutely point of using Idunn if you have the DLC.

2:58 slight correction, someone please let me know if I’m wrong. I believe what the trait means is when Sakuya’s stats are raised, it doubles hp regen of that skill for all party members, regardless of if other members’ stats are raised or not. Other than that, def a very solid early game build.

What i like about the build videos for this game is if you dont wont to do the fusions to get the moves you can still get all the moves you wont from the essences unless doing the fusions increase the stats more

Already set on Idun as my main, but I will prolly try to build Sakuya as a side healer with Fire spec. Getting +2 Luster Candy seems like a strong start and the MP recovery might help both.

First of all, im loving that i came across your content cuz for the longest ive been racking my head on how to build my demons but after i saw your Cleo support ive been using it the whole time in vengeance however i would definitely like to see a Shiva and or Dagda build if at all possible cuz ive been using your Fionn Mac Cumhaill crit build on Dagds and Shiva is my guy
Kinda sad they just made Idun... But better, however at the same time at you can now carry two solid healers! Would help free up a skill slot on Cleo for me at least
You kinda need either one (ideally Sakuya) for the harder fights and Godborn mode. I don't leave the house without the two girls and Demeter.

What's your thought on Donum Gladi? I'm currently running this to Amp up my Shiva and Nahobino, but I'm not sure if its worth it
They're fine but outside of when I build for a specific strat for a boss, I generally don't use them.

Really cool setup you made for your Konohana Sakuya Rozalin! Btw, I need your opinion on my Konohana Sakuya. I currently plan to have my Sakuya's skillset like this:
Sakuya Sakura
Bowl of Hygeia
Boon Boost
Boon Boost EX
Repel or Null Elec
Repel Phys (Demi-Fiend only, but I also plan to generally put in Agidyne or Megidolaon)
Enduring Soul
I think Boon Boost is wasted late game since you will almost always need to heal before the buff is close to dropping. I also personally wouldn't run a healer w/o a way to restore MP.

Was just thinking when you were going to drop the video as I just got a gift card and bought the dlc 😂 going to finish the Surt boss then do this quest to unlock her. I only have 7 slots though. Is there a skill I can be fine for now not using until I unlock the 8th? Also thanks for the content!

It is possible on CoV, but it's much harder since you need to maintain a neutral stance throughout the playthrough, unlike in CoC where you can just choose neutral at the end.

Hi everyone,
I need some help. I defeated Ouyamatsumi before redeeming the DLC for Konohana Sakuya, and now I can't trigger her quest. I've checked my quest log and visited her location, but nothing happens.
Unfortunately, I don't have a save where Ouyamatsumi is still alive, and I haven't reached the throne room yet. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution?

Great video as always! Quick question tho, would the heal pleromas be useful for her or would they be insignificant?
They would help out whenever you can't trigger her innate skill, but only for the HP healing portion, and it wouldn't be near as much as her innate boosts her healing. For me, any encounter in which I can't reliably keep up her innate, I just swap her out to Demeter (technically Demeter is my main healer).

@@FReaK7843 yeah her innate skill is a x2 multiplier to both her HP and MP healing so it's very significant to maintain.

can you make tutorials for all super bosses? I don't know how to beat masakado when he one shots all my demons with freikugel? (nahobino 2 shotted xD) (I don't have enough incences/balms to make them able to tank them) is it supposed to be a fight that u can only do on ng++++++?

Enduring Soul
Way too MP intensive with no way to restore MP outside of using items. By dropping Debilitate and having someone like Cleopatra or Beelzebub handle that, you can then also drop both Boon Boosts for more defenses/utility options.

Would you consider her and Dagda to be worth paying for the DLC? i'm currently planning to do get both endings, first law, then reload my other save right before the alignment lock and go full chaos, I also plan to fight Shiva, Demi-Fiend and Satan

I mean that is entirely up to you. What I can say is that I've found Sakuya to be more useful than Dagda for end-game and super bosses though.

Demeter is still the better healer against the hardest content.
I'm always curious why you never show the strongest versions of these builds. For example using Resist Elec and not something like Drain Elec, or Boon Boost EX instead of just boon boost.
(1) because I prefer to show the earliest possible version for builds.
(2) the strongest versions are just built off of the lower level versions in many cases; so essence fusion is the way to go.
(3) with this build in particular, you wouldn't use Boon Boost EX anyways since the normal version is dropped from the end game one.
@RozalinGaming Fair enough. For me, I always want to see the maximum potential I'm aiming for and then slowly build to that as the options become available. So start with resist with the aim of getting to drain for example.
How do I get her? I'm lvl 55 now and haven't seen her or any quest related to her yet.

Sakuya is part of the "Sakura Cinders of the East" DLC
Once the DLC is bought, the quest for recruiting her is available in the Tokyo Diete building on the first map.
She's a dlc demon. You got to buy her dlc to unlock her

Definitely planning to build her. She really powercrept Idun, though I'll likely run both. Not to mention better resistances.

Why not null all elements?
Because the two extra slots necessary to Null everything isn't worth giving up Enduring Soul and Great Mana Spring. Early on Great Mana Spring is huge for MP and later it is swapped for Great Life Spring on Godborn; Enduring Soul is necessary for end-game content where enemies frequently use Pierce or Almighty attacks. Simply put, it's better to not Null everything in most situations if it takes up too many skill slots to do so.

Hello everyone, how to make fusion Agrat? I unlocked her sisters, but I couldn’t find Agrat herself. If it’s not too much trouble, tell me how I can unlock Ishtar without going through the main arc, I’m currently going through the Vengeance arc
To fusion Agrat, you need Seth, Efreet and queen medb
Maybe a little late but you can unlock Ishtar (alongside Surt, Chernobog and Arioch) on CoV by completing the "Armies of Chaos" virtual trainer battles.
Also important to note special fusions only show up in the menu if you have at least one of the demons required for them registered, many people seem to forget that.

Idun or Konohana Sakuya?
Sakuya is a strict upgrade to Idun if you have the DLC; if not Idun is still great.

Ofc it is. I put mine and then I put Repel Phys when I unlocked the evil Abdiel fusion.
