The changes I made for Shiva and Demi-fiend were to drop Diamrita for Null Phys and add in Enduring Soul in the last slot.

The Heal Pleromas are actually borderline worthless because unlike damaging abilities, healing has a very easy to reach hard cap, that being the HP of those being healed. With decent stats, Golden Apple can fully heal without any Pleroma. Getting rid of Bowl for Shiva and Demi-fiend is a good option; I did the same for those fights, but in all other situations I would keep it as it allows you to temporarily increase your party's max HP by 30%. I think I'm gonna do a slight modification to end game Idun build and it's replacing Great Mana Spring with Almighty Pleroma to power up Spirit/Energy Drain, similar to the Cleopatra build. At that stage of the game, I think Idun has enough natural MP that Great Mana Spring isn't necessary anymore, especially with Boon Boost EX giving her an extra turn to get MP back, and I'd rather that she be able to do some damage like Cleo. If that doesn't work, I can just use an Essence to teach her Spirit Drain again.
Smart. The only thing is that I worry about her ability to survive some of the harder bosses so I'd want to get those stats up before then but for the main story content, that's perfect all the way to the end.
I used her for both the non-DLC super boss and DLC super boss without needing to refuse her. On the non -DLC super boss specifically, my entire party was 10 levels lower than the boss; Idun combined with the incredibly broken Kannabi Veil was more than enough to survive.
@@RozalinGaming Hey, thanks for the reply. If you say it's good enough for those super boss fights as well then I'll take your word for it. That's great news

@@joeirl Heal Pleroma is useless because unlike with damage, healing has a very easy to reach hard cap; namely, the healed character's max HP. Even with the additional 30% overhealing that Bowl allows for, this is easily reached normally with stat improvements.
Rozalin that makes complete sense. I didn’t realize Bowl had a 30% overhealing cap, so I thought heal pleroma and Bowl would get me insane amounts of HP during boss fights. I’ll replace with mana spring, and hopefully I have a spirit drain essence I can throw on her to replace mahabarion. Thanks man!
Last slot is open to whatever you want (don't reference the actual Idun I fused, reference the initial Idun I show). Once you do get the 8th slot, I'd recommend Resist/Null Phys though, especially if you plan to use her against the game's super boss.
I basically gave her Bowl of Hygieia and Media, and did just fine, Golden Apple is really good, but it consumes half of her MP, it's useless on a mid game demon
Golden Apple is far from useless mid-game and with this setup makes Media a completely wasted skill slot. I never once ran out of MP and only had to use items to restore her MP once, and that was during Shiva.
You must complete a quest first. It's in the fairy village -- after you do the main story quest that interacts with her, return to where she was and a Jack Frost will be there with a new quest. Complete that new quest and you'll be able to fuse her.

I would love to see other videos explaining how to master skill inheritance. I’m running into an issue where I fuse a new demon all the skills they inherit are just useless. Example: a healing/buff demon that inherits only physical and curse skills. Or something to that effect. This keeps me from fusing my demons because I feel like it’s a waste. I eventually run out of stock and am forced to fuse random demons that are useless and end up sitting in my stock and will never see battle or be used in anyway. Also - I never use essences, but I really really want to. I have some really good ones for physical nahobino build. Example: Surt. But I’m afraid of using these powerful essences or any essence for that matter, because once I use them I’ll never get them again, or have a very slim chance of getting them again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Btw I’m around lvl 60 and just entering into the final area (90%sure) Anyways, great video & Thanks in advance for any help.
Uh, I guess I'm confused since in SMT V you choose what gets passed down so it's easy to weed out skills you don't want. As for getting essences, it's really easy. Every time a demon levels up they have a chance to give you their essence. Simply get a demon close to level, save your game, do a fight so they level up, and if they don't give you their essence, reset and try again.
Are you checking your demons before fusing? There's no reason to fuse if you realize all you see are phys skills but the demon has 13 strength or putting Mudoon on a demon that is -4 dark. Better to keep your demons for an extra level until something more fitting can be fused.
@@gilded_lady Of course I check what my skills the demons I'm fusing have. Who wouldn't? Though more often than not, I know exactly what skills the demons I'm using in fusion have so I know what can be passed along. Again though, I honestly have no idea what your issue is. There is no skill inheritance in SMT V the same way it's been in previous entries; unless a skill is unique, any demon can learn any skill. As for there being no reason to fuse skills onto demons with low stats or low affinity, there can absolutely be a reason to do so. The primary reason being to pass skills on to further demons. Not every demon has to be useful for your party. It's perfectly acceptable, and very common, for many to just be skill bots for fusing. Fusing them away also doesn't matter since the compendium exists so you can always pull them out again later.
I used this Idun to beat both Shiva and Demi-fiend on hard with the only addition being Enduring Soul. So yes, it actually will fly against Demi-fiend. The Demi-fiend itself is actually incredibly easy (even more so if you cheese him) since his entire AI is static; the only random element is what his summoned demons do.
Huh, fair enough. After coming across Parvati and being relatively underwhelmed with the potency of her healing, this is nice to see. Bookmarked for later use. Thank you. =)
Parvati has Bowl of Hygieia and her magic is a bit worse than Idunn's, so the difference is not that big Plus, Idunn is a few levels higher, of course she heals less ._.xd
The final skill slot doesn't unlock until near the end of the game so your better off making her early, then fusing her with Erthys, Aeros, or Flaemis later to make a Parvati and then making her again; doing it this way will also net you higher stats when you re-fuse her assuming you've purchased the Miracles necessary to do so.
For people who want higher stats on Idunn, after getting the miracle that grants stat bonuses to newly fused demons you can fuse her with Aeros to get Parvati while still keeping most of the skills Idunn had. Then you can re-fuse Idunn once the stat bonuses are to your liking.
in other words, at first just fuse her to help you and worry about making her strong later
@@SantosOverlord that's basically it. Honestly, it's pretty lucky that she can directly fuse into one of her own components.

Btw I’m around lvl 60 and just entering into the final area (90%sure)
Anyways, great video & Thanks in advance for any help.
What do you mean super boss XD. That ain't gona fly with demi fiend hard.
Why dont you give her regular mana spring for her last skill?
It doesn't provide enough MP to be worth a skill slot when there are better skills you can eventually add there.
Huh, fair enough. After coming across Parvati and being relatively underwhelmed with the potency of her healing, this is nice to see. Bookmarked for later use. Thank you. =)
Parvati has Bowl of Hygieia and her magic is a bit worse than Idunn's, so the difference is not that big
Plus, Idunn is a few levels higher, of course she heals less ._.xd
This did not need to be a 12 minutes video.
Your right, I should have made it 12 hours. I'll do better next time just for you.
🤣
I'll just wait until I have 8 full move slots before trying this, so annoying how slow as hell the game unlocks them all
The final skill slot doesn't unlock until near the end of the game so your better off making her early, then fusing her with Erthys, Aeros, or Flaemis later to make a Parvati and then making her again; doing it this way will also net you higher stats when you re-fuse her assuming you've purchased the Miracles necessary to do so.
Idun is so amazing, awesome vid!
Where can I find lilim and feng huang?
Easiest way is to fuse them.
@@RozalinGaming thanks, I’m just trying to get more demon slots now to make this build work.
