Bruce- “I watched my dad beat my mother to death and was abused by him, I was hunted by the US government for years and I couldn’t even form relationships with others. I had to isolate myself from most of human society because if I ever lost control of my anger then many innocent people would have ended up DYING Jen, being a Hulk takes restraint and you will be very fortunate if you never reach the abyss as to where you might put a gun into your own mouth and squeeze the trigger.” -How the conversation, SHOULD have gone with a competent writer.

The way they ruined She-Hulk hurts because since this is her first live-action appearance, this is what the general audience will think the character actually is like.
I find it funny they have this idea she's a strong female character who hates misogyny when in the comics misogyny is her kink and has a big sex problem. Ironic.
You know you messed up when a bondage artist can write a better female character than the writers of She-Hulk. Side Note: The story is called Empowered by the way.
I mean, she's a normal sized humanoid, and She-Hulk is a bit bigger. But yeah, still. They could've done some clever camera work and had her bulk up for the role to allow for a Gammora-style presentation.
honestly feel for women, we lads got Tony, Cap, Thanos, Peter Parker etc, but marvel just can't be bothered to write women, thy literally couldn't be bothered to do fucking homework on courtrooms for a show about a damn lawyer. I just want hot big green giant woman.
wanda and black widow weren’t bad characters. They write strong female characters fine but somehow still fuck up characters like captain marvel and she hulk
There ARE great female characters - Sarah Connor, Ripley, Valeria, Red Sonja to name just the ones off the top of my head. But they are all in the past.
Jen is an attorney in New York - She's constantly tired, insecure, passionless, basically living in a rat race until the day she dies. Then she turns into She-Hulk Her life becomes way more interesting, feeling so powerful, desirable, and full of life is so intoxicating she can't calm down of that sensation. If she's the opposite of Bruce, then instead of being fueled by Rage, she's fueled by Excitement - and her "struggle" is being calm when confronted with positive feelings instead of negative ones. But.. you know... better write about 'stronk wamen' and sh*t...
That actually sounds like a better angle to go for in the show. Would be interesting to see her hulk out and start leaping long distances across states because she’s just so overly excited at her new powers and new way of life, and Bruce can still play mentor and teach her to control the Hulk by having her recklessly destroy a building or flatten out a large field with a superhero landing and Jen sees the damage she caused with her excitement and realizes that, yes, she needs her cousin to reel her in until she can embrace the Hulk within and become “Calm Hulk” akin to Bruce’s Smart Hulk in the MCU. But nah, making Sex in the City starring She-Hulk the social Justice mouthpiece is SO much better (and easier to write).
@@CharlemagneGuy127 I like that angle. It would have been great to have her clearly not in control of her new found strength at first. The first season could have been her struggle to not crush food, buildings, & lastly ppl. Hulk's there to practice simple things like hugs & handshakes. I would be fine if she had no rage issues but I would still like that to be the first issue, even if she calmed the first episode. It just makes sense to have a learning curve when you go from barely cracking eggs to cracking boulders.
It’s a very rush attempt to get Smart Hulk to happen that the actual development was skipped over and in deleted scenes of Infinity War. Also, there is another component that went into Professor Hulk, Remember Joe-Fixit? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Remember when Planet Hulk got an animated film that started with the Illuminati, who consist of some of Hulk's closest friends and colleagues, shooting him into space because he's literally too dangerous to remain on Earth, and meant to shoot him off to a remote planet with lots of wildlife? And it had him literally fight to the death for his freedom and overcome a despot that wanted him deader than dirt? And it ended with him being the happiest I've ever seen him; finally free of all the military hounding, fears of destroying millions, seen as a hero for the first time in his entire life by his subjects? Berserker Farms remembers. (EDIT) and now Episode 2 hints to "Smart Hulk" going into space and kickstarting World War Hulk-SON OF A BITCH!!! @@masterwu7784 They did. With Ragnarok. And they blew it, HARD. Or trading in Charles Bronson's .475 Wildey Magnum for a Zip .22
I remembered cartoon She Hulk, and the old comic one. Cute, supportive, caring and elegant. Like a strong Audrey Hepburn with a degree in law. And they turned her into a Boss Bitch. Just because a stronk wahman character can't be supportive and sweet, apparently.

Don't forget that Jessica Gao (Pickle Rick/She-Hulk writer) created a literal self-insert of herself as the therapist who effortlessly destroyed Rick's character and called him out on his insecurities and Rick did nothing about it (whereas in an older episode he probably would've just vaporized her). Wouldn't be surprised if she also turned She-Hulk into her mouthpiece and we get to hear about her daddy issues in a later episode.
Holy garbage that has her shitty character? of course that felt so extremelly retarded, Rick is extremelly easy to annoy and irritate, even more when he sees smartasses trying to decode him, remember the whole episode in which there was a species that they believed where the smartest and Rick killed them just because of how annoying they were? Disparu explained on his channel the witches who're working on She-Hulk knows they're diversity hires being put in big jobs and high positions they don't deserve for the sake Of filling politically driven checkboxes and the fact there's people making careers on the internet calling out their bullshit and making them a laughing stock is making them bitter and miserable and they're projecting it on the bastardization Of She-Hulk they're using as their puppet.
Another writer to blame which I just found out had a hand in this is Dana Schwartz. You know the one who practically ruined She-Hulk before by making her overly buff and stupid, like they’re trying to make her OG Hulk but it was unsuccessful and terrible so they changed her back.
JLongbone caught something about the catcalling scene, it only works because the women dress her up instead of calling the cops and making sure she is alright. Because even they realize that its impossible for the guys to act like that if Jen looked like a wife who just met her husband coming home from work and heard his favorite team lost.

It's crazy that mcu Bruce has canonically attempted ending his life multiple times. She hulk isn't good at suppressing her rage as it's more established she hasn't faced any level of adversity Bruce has. She names cat calling and having to suppress her anger because she can't really retaliate. She gains these powers and hurts dudes that cat called her. Bruce couldn't even feel a smidgen of anger or even excitement otherwise people will die. I find it funny how Marvel constantly try to make female empowerment characters and representations for minority groups yet keep failing to do it right, whilst Japan and the manga industry are able to it to a T with no problem. Guess there's a reason manga outsells comics these days.
There's so many female anime/manga/Japanese game characters that I absolutely love. My favorites being Rem, Violet Evergarden, Shouko, and 2B. But there's not many female American superhero characters (at least in movies) I genuinely like because most of them are feminists with no character.
Violet is one of my favorite girl protagonists in anime too. Someone with such a traumatic past learning to care for others and understand their pain, while also being beautiful, elegant and calm, she's someone I'd give anything to be friends with because she's so genuinely empathetic and caring. These writers puppet established characters into idealised self-insert mouthpieces to spout their opinionated rants through with no respect for the audience or the character, universe, and it's creators. I never want to even see these characters in my line of sight because they're so insufferable to watch.

When I was a kid, one of the first comics I had in my small collection was a Hulk comic entitled, "Snake Eyes." It was my introduction to the character and if there was one thing they made clear about Banner and Hulk, it's that Banner's life is pure hell and Hulk is such a monster that Banner of all people is the most scared of him. Banner fears and loathes Hulk, and the monster's rage is sick of being trapped inside the shell of Banner. It took one comic (the part one issue of it anyway) for little kid me to understand the nature of the character(s) and to respect them. This show does a lot of Banner-Bashing in order to prop up a character who didn't have to go through the literally ever-growing nightmare of being simultaneously trapped inside a man as well as a man struggling to contain an endlessly ravenous beast. Banner and his duality with The Hulk is a very personalized story, and is precisely why She-Hulk shouldn't have been handled as a character that encompasses an entire group of people, because she fits better into a narrative where she is the odd one out, much like her cousin. In fact, Hulk and She-Hulk were one of the worse choices for the narrative they were going for in the first place. I also feel that most superhero stories are often told better as personal ones and have been depicted as such in film and other mediums for quite some time now. Even in certain superhero team-style films (Marvel being an example of this) individual aspects of multiple characters on said team are developed and have their place both on the team and individually for their own growth, when handled well, that is. She-Hulk being made outside of the woke-iverse might've had a chance to do really well and be put together competently, but such is not the case here. If anyone takes anything from this little tirade of mine, it's this: Devaluing someone else's traumatic experiences like it's no big deal, even if you happen to have been through just as much or worse (and this version of She-Hulk hasn't) than them doesn't make it ok to belittle them for their own trauma, nor does it necessarily make you a better person. Playing the age-old, "I've had it worse than you," game doesn't make you a worthwhile character in and of itself, it's how you come to terms with it and how you deal with it going forward.
They turned that ancient cheetos with chopsticks meme into a ground breaking genius character trait. Dont make me cringe, you wouldnt like me when I cringe.
I'm preaching to the choir but the cat call rant is bloody insulting. To the viewer and the in universe character. Did she forget Hulk helped save the universe. Do they explain this? I'm guilty of not watching/paying for a marvel product since end game, so I don't know if there is an explanation why she takes a verbal dump on her cousin.
I don’t think they even did, this version of jen just wanted to go back to life as a lawyer since having control with her hulk is basically “Kay done and going now don’t need your advice anymore”
I mean I think she was annoyed with him because she feels that he is invalidating her desire and agency as a person. Like your life isn’t mine and she felt projected upon. Which is probably from her insecurity, she says she is an amazing lawyer who finally got a job, but honestly that is probably bc she is insecure she wants to feel like she has that power she needs to tell herself that. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t immature for her to do just explaining why it might be understandable psychologically for her to say that.
"It's all canon to each other." After watching MauLer shred apart Doctor Strange: MoM, these projects don't even seem remotely interested in continuing the continuity between each story (or even their own).
7:36 the whole segment in the factory after Banner hulks out looks like it's straight out of a horror movie (also the scene when they try to cure him has a noticable bodyhorror element to it) 7:42 the first Thor movie has something that most marvel movies don't. The main character actualy has character arc
17:57 I'm firmly convinced that 2017's Wonder Woman outright buck-broke Kevin Feige; homie CANNOT and WILL NOT live down being beaten to the "First Female Hero movie" by the clown show of the DCEU, DESPITE having over a decade on the DCEU as well as having Black Widow feature prominently in the MCU from Ironman 2 onwards. Factor in the MCU's following on from the comics in making it's female characters a bunch of See You Next Tuesdays, and the result is try-hard female empowerment fantasies whose titular characters lack the gravitas, vulnerability and sex appeal of Gal's Wonder Woman.

There is a scene in the Incredible Hulk movie that still stick with me : Bruce is meditating with a monk to learn how to control his emotions. The monk literally started slapping the shit out of him so he could learn to keep his anger in check. After the second or third slap in the face they had to stop because Bruce's heart rate started racing and his eyes were turning green.
It almost seems that the cost of so much power and the consequences got swepped under the rug after Civil War. With Tony and Rogers now gone, the moral core, that clung to these movies up until Infinity war disappeared. You have some moments of that harkening back in the Spiderman movies. But overall superpowers are just something that is neat and gets pitted against each other, completely ignoring the consequences. This is the epidome of that development.
You touch on exactly why Marvel Feminism(TM) is incredibly anti-feminist: They can't seem to write women as people. None of their white cis guy characters have to be generic enough to represent all men. They're allowed to be individuals with things about them that are unique and not immediately relatable, and so more intriguing. Marvel women have to be GRRL PWR icons whose character "flaws" are the men who try to put them down. Then they prove how cool they are by embracing all things traditionally masculine because thEy'Re nOt liKe tHoSe otHeR gIrlS! I'm a woman and a feminist and I can't fucking relate to these characters because before either of those things, I'm a human being first. Don't write *women,* write characters. We're not a different fucking species.
I imagine Gao fancies herself a feminist, which says _something_ about the ideological umbrella. I'd describe this kind of writing as having a misogynistic undercurrent despite its overt GRRL POWER.
GRRRL POWERR is a stupid relic of 90's - early 2000's feminism. Feminism in its current form is mostly a societal and moral cancer. Whatever good it was even going to achieve has mostly been achieved by now. Nowadays, it's just become a cult of victim hood, to accumulate obscene privilege and soothe the supremely narcissistic of the most spoiled creatures on the planet, Huwhite Western females.
ewww a baizuo feminist A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or adolescent). Denoting the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) which can be fertilized by male gametes. Women inherit a pair of X chromosomes from their parents, and are capable of pregnancy and giving birth from puberty until menopause. More generally, sex differentiation of the female fetus is governed by the lack of a present, or functioning, SRY-gene on either one of the respective sex chromosomes. Female anatomy is distinguished from male anatomy by the female reproductive system, which includes the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina, and vulva. The adult female pelvis is wider, the hips broader, and the breasts larger than that of adult males. Women have significantly less facial and other body hair, have a higher body fat composition, and are on average shorter and less muscular than men. A man is an adult male human. Prior to adulthood, a male human is referred to as a boy (a male child or adolescent). Like most other male mammals, a man's genome inherits an X chromosome from the mother and a Y chromosome from the father. Sex differentiation of the male fetus is governed by the SRY gene on the Y chromosome. During puberty, hormones which stimulate androgen production result in the development of secondary sexual characteristics, thus exhibiting greater differences between the sexes. These include greater muscle mass, the growth of facial hair and a lower body fat composition.
Ironically, that’s the real “toxic masculinity” in today’s culture. They hate femininity so much that women now must be exactly like men, except better.

Finally, a 'charity' bench that works. I was homeless and addicted to heroin, but the moment I sat down on it, the bench re-routed my neurons and brain chemistry so that I was no longer physically addicted to opioids, it skipped me right past the withdrawals, and kick started my endorphins to start functioning naturally again as if I'd been sober for 5 years.. in seconds! This bench also immediately transmitted 10 years of hands-on bio-chemical engineering experience into my brain, allowing me to find a career in pharmaceutical development within 12 hours of my last hit of crack. The bench is a miracle and finally America's homeless crisis and opioid epidemic are at an end.. They definitely aren't ballooning in casualties, deaths and quantity and intensity of human suffering, while rich Hollywood elites use the guise of helping with the intention of self-promotion as philanthropists while not caring about actually aiding the complex problem that requires us to get our hands dirty and rewire a lot of long-neglected, failed systems that have lead to death rates that are only going to continue to get exponentially worse until a large commitment is made towards reflection and analyzing the source of the problems and thoughtfully creating better solutions.. Rather than bringing attention to the exact Nixonian era drug war policies that are still causing unnecessary suffering and death to this day, 60 years later, Disney is taking selfies with the idea of helping some of the most tortured and suffering Americans for clout. At least that backfired. But I don't want to see selfish attempts at charity fail. I want to see people in equally high places of power who are passionate about ending human suffering. Because we all experience pain the same, it hurts each of us just the same, and the sum of all the time that Americans alone spend suffering the most agonizing physical and psychological suffering due to addiction, the main cause of homelessness today, is equal to countless millennia every year. That is so many people feeling so much pain cumulatively, and it could be vastly prevented and ended with proper addiction treatment reform, and drug education that utilizes realism rather than fear tactics.
10:14 I recently watched a bit of Hulk 2008, and the state Bruce was in after fighting the military was heartbreaking. I immediately recalled Jennifer’s rant and was angered by it. This man was hunted down and shot at by the military, and Avengers 1 establishes that he tried to off himself. And now we have a this woman complaining that getting catcalled in the street is worse than what Bruce went through.
The thing is, she's a well off white woman. That's the epitome of success. They literally have the majority in the US and have the most privilege in America at the moment. Not all women, white women. Women don't get cat called like they make us believe these days. Men are scared to even look at them so they don't catch a case. She doesn't have kids, a husband or even struggle in her life and she is trying to tell the HULK he has no idea what anger is. All of her anger is self imposed.
i love u the fact the u put the music at the start reminded me of a song i was looking for, i search for a month and found nothing but putting a song made by negative xp helped me find it. Thank you. :)
Quite a hot take for Jen to compare Bruce's life full of danger, loss, and abuse to... getting catcalled. Honestly, it would have been more interesting for Jen's story to highlight her being terrified of the world and stepping into the She-Hulk moniker in order to both protect others and help them not be afraid.
Here is my version of the infamous she hulk -monologue- dialogue : "I'm great at controlling my anger, I do it all the time. Like when I'm berated and stalked by my ex, when an incompetent and self-important woman explains to me how to behave... I do it pretty much all the time, or I might be called weak, emotionnal, violent or sexist, if it just doesn't get me literally cancelled"
15:44 Additionally, thou I don’t believe it’s outright stated, Jen doesn’t have the background of severe mental trauma. Therefore the “She-Hulk” was never an alter ego with its own personality and agency, it’s was still Jen. So the argument is flipped on its head, her ability to control her transformation is easier because her life was not traumatic. She started off more emotionally and mentally stable than Bruce was. But the show stupidly argued that her life was somehow harder.
Honestly that’s one of the biggest problems I have with marvel movies, Is that their not unique and lack style. Like With Doctor Strange they could’ve dabbled a in cosmic horror, since magic is unpredictable in the MCU and they could’ve done something incredible with the concept but they didn’t go Full In which is a shame. It’s the main reason why the Marvel formula doesn’t work with all the other properties, since they’re not the avengers.😑🐱
Thing is, you can address these issues all you want. The problem is Jen lists almost only these societal issues as her source of anger. The lack of universal human truths in her struggles makes her feel like a propaganda machine. Even if people these messages are targeted at want to listen and empathize the best case scenario for the feelings they get are what exactly is happening, a character speaking lines through a screen and nothing more.
I like to think the 2003 Hulk film is soft-canon to the MCU, and leads into the 2008 film pretty well. At least that way we still have Bruce's proper origins shown on the big screen, just a slightly different version of events, Eric Bana Hulk is an MCU variant if you will.
I'm so sick of all these killer IP's I grew up with and loved being sacrificed on the altar of intersectionality/woke/neo-Marxism/equity. This misconception/lie that women or minorities haven't been on tv/movies and represented fairly is quite laughable. I'm 40 and grew up in the 80s and 90s and they have had fair representation even before I was around. Women have been super represented since TV has been around. There have been TONS of chick flicks that were hits with mostly women running the show/movie. Many suck, but some were huge hits. And some of the best movies most dudes love had women in leading directing, producing and screenwriting roles too like say Gale Ann Hurd who was part of some of the hugest hits like Aliens, Terminator, Walking Dead, The Abyss, The Incredible Hulk(ironically), and Armageddon to name just some. And there are many women like her in Hollywood. And that didn't stop us from enjoying those...Because they weren't shitty woke shows infected with "the message". Most normal ppl hate woke shit. It's why that stuff fails. Not even woke ppl like that stuff even though I suspect even they lie about them liking that shit.
Correction, in the comic she didn't get in a car accident, she's actually shot by a goon sent by Trask to "silence her". The show took a safe, and by all means, a lame route by having her getting into a car accident.
My own Live Action Transformers persona (*if I had one) who;s bigger than that MCU imposter of She Hulk will stomp her like an insect because she's a weakling lol.
Does she hulk break the 4th wall a lot or something? Jw based off a clip you shown of SheHulk where the actress looks right into the camera and then also one of the comic covers you shown where she made reference to being on the cover.
The John Byrne run (the one the show is really influenced by) has tons of fourth wall breaks. Dude basically wrote her as his wife and they would banter back and forth all the time.
I don't think I could sit through this let alone do a video on it with all the editing and scripting so I'll just watch your video instead. I love that Negative XP song too, it fits this character from what I have seen of the show.

She's a teenage dream if you hate yourself.
Jen is an attorney in New York - She's constantly tired, insecure, passionless, basically living in a rat race until the day she dies.
Then she turns into She-Hulk
Her life becomes way more interesting, feeling so powerful, desirable, and full of life is so intoxicating she can't calm down of that sensation.
Hollywood really needs to fix their formula. We don't mind diversity, but the problem is these guys F it up 90% of the time.
Violet is one of my favorite girl protagonists in anime too. Someone with such a traumatic past learning to care for others and understand their pain, while also being beautiful, elegant and calm, she's someone I'd give anything to be friends with because she's so genuinely empathetic and caring.

If anyone takes anything from this little tirade of mine, it's this:
Devaluing someone else's traumatic experiences like it's no big deal, even if you happen to have been through just as much or worse (and this version of She-Hulk hasn't) than them doesn't make it ok to belittle them for their own trauma, nor does it necessarily make you a better person.
No in-world explanation, but "only women can be victims"
I mean I think she was annoyed with him because she feels that he is invalidating her desire and agency as a person. Like your life isn’t mine and she felt projected upon. Which is probably from her insecurity, she says she is an amazing lawyer who finally got a job, but honestly that is probably bc she is insecure she wants to feel like she has that power she needs to tell herself that. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t immature for her to do just explaining why it might be understandable psychologically for her to say that.

7:36 the whole segment in the factory after Banner hulks out looks like it's straight out of a horror movie (also the scene when they try to cure him has a noticable bodyhorror element to it)
7:42 the first Thor movie has something that most marvel movies don't.

A woman is an adult female human.
Pro literature tip when creating a well-writen woman character: think of a man and take away reason and accountability.

Wait, thats just writing a more realistic man.
@@paintbrush3554 Nah, that's just how you write the Joker.
Don’t forget to take away the humanity as well, because the best female characters are the ones that aren’t human!
Examples:
•XJ-9
•Starfire
•Hawkgirl
•You name it.
I like that you brought up the fundamental problems with Jennifer in contrast with the comic history of the character.
She turned herself into a pickle....funniest shit I've ever seen.
is there a meme where as she hulk is explaining the cat calling bs, hulk is actively having flash backs of his dad beating his mom, and all the other horrible things that have happened
The Jhon Burn Run is truly loveable
Its just this trend of female characters replacing the main character while simultaneously shitting on the main character. Its everywhere and it’s poisoning everything
I flucking love this kid. Good lad, you just keep it up now. Did they write her as a fantasy AOC? LMAO over here. Thank you.
The thing is you can argue that Wanda who is a female character in the same universe has a decent arch where she goes from this victim of circumstances who’s manipulated by basically nazis to a full blown villain who has been tossed around by everyone and I actually feel sorry for her even though doctor strange definitely needs to stop her from destroying the multiverse. This definitely just seems like another captain marvel except more blatant with their bullshit
While I completely agree with this, I also feel like they don’t hold her accountable for the messed up stuff she did like in Wanda vision where she tortured an entire town and soon after a lady says “they’ll never know what you did for them” just, bruh….
@@headcrabo..2301 that is also true
@@headcrabo..2301 I mean, what exactly are they supposed to do to her? Clearly she needed to be held accountable but who's gonna go down there and bring the Scarlet Witch of all people to justice? Because it sure won't be the town that got mindcontrolled for days...
You sir are a true connoisseur of 'Death By Snu Snu'. Be proud.

I recently watched a bit of Hulk 2008, and the state Bruce was in after fighting the military was heartbreaking. I immediately recalled Jennifer’s rant and was angered by it. This man was hunted down and shot at by the military, and Avengers 1 establishes that he tried to off himself. And now we have a this woman complaining that getting catcalled in the street is worse than what Bruce went through.
A video about the outpost would be awesome, not enough people know how good that movie is
YES it was such a good movie
It is hilarious how much of a lashing you give this show while sounding totally calm.
We need a redub of the show with Carl as the Hulk it would make it watchable
Scott Pilgrim Ruined a Generation of Women becomes more accurate with the day
This is why 40-year-old wine moms should never write superhero movies.
Ragnarok is the peak of overused humor followed by love and thunder

The thing is, she's a well off white woman. That's the epitome of success. They literally have the majority in the US and have the most privilege in America at the moment. Not all women, white women. Women don't get cat called like they make us believe these days. Men are scared to even look at them so they don't catch a case. She doesn't have kids, a husband or even struggle in her life and she is trying to tell the HULK he has no idea what anger is. All of her anger is self imposed.
Yesss, Scott Pilgrim ruined an entire generation of women, I absolutely love that song, genuinely happy to hear it used herw
Pickle rick isn't even the worst episode now, the sperm one was abysmal
I gave up catcalling...
.....the cat just ignores me
She gets a bunch of looks from peers like she’s a freak but honestly she’s hotter than when she’s in normal form
Bro put the Orginal Deus Ex Music in the outro. The guy has taste.
Man, Fiona really let herself go
i love u the fact the u put the music at the start reminded me of a song i was looking for, i search for a month and found nothing but putting a song made by negative xp helped me find it.
Thank you. :)
Guardians of the Galaxy is the Saints Row the Third of the MCU. It was okay on its own but a sign of a degradation in tone and subject matter to come.
Here is my version of the infamous she hulk -monologue- dialogue :
"I'm great at controlling my anger, I do it all the time. Like when I'm berated and stalked by my ex, when an incompetent and self-important woman explains to me how to behave... I do it pretty much all the time, or I might be called weak, emotionnal, violent or sexist, if it just doesn't get me literally cancelled"
She is standing behind me, right?
Hmm. Haven't heard the Scott Pilgrim song in years.
Very appropriate
The writer of this show also wrote Pickle Rick...that should tell you everything you need to know.

Additionally, thou I don’t believe it’s outright stated, Jen doesn’t have the background of severe mental trauma.
At this point I'd rather watch Better Call Saul but with a green filter
Haven’t watched the show but the first 6 minutes of this video is exactly how I feel about the MCU
MYeah, the writer didn't read the comics
Didn't even need to see that trash fire, knew it was gonna suck.
“That’s retarted”-best line in the entire vid
True time to enjoy She-Hulk art
I still can't believe that she gets catcalled
Correction, in the comic she didn't get in a car accident, she's actually shot by a goon sent by Trask to "silence her". The show took a safe, and by all means, a lame route by having her getting into a car accident.
When she said she might get murdered for not controlling her anger I was like you live in America
Oh the pain, look what they did to my how hot green skin Waifu. She was once beautiful and now she has been turned into a twitter feminist from L.A. 😭
I mean did you see the comics that came out a few years ago? A true godfather moment
My own Live Action Transformers persona (*if I had one) who;s bigger than that MCU imposter of She Hulk will stomp her like an insect because she's a weakling lol.
“I am an unhappy woman trying to live like a man.”
I seriously gotta say these scripts are just getting funnier. Good vid dude
I LOVED Tatiana Maslani in Orphan Black and seeing her in such a terrible role breaks my heart
I don't think I could sit through this let alone do a video on it with all the editing and scripting so I'll just watch your video instead. I love that Negative XP song too, it fits this character from what I have seen of the show.
i hate how CGI has become the MO for fuckin everything nowadays. you can always tell that it isn't real no matter how life-like they make it.
