2008 Incredible Hulk was in association with Marvel but was produced by Universal Studios because they had the rights to the character, they are the only ones who can do a solo Hulk movie
Top to bottom I never liked Ruffalos Hulk since day one. From the design, to how he fights, to his mannerisms etc.. all far worse than 2008. Then you have Ruffalo who to me looks nothing like Banner, is just kind of there and brings nothing to the character. Marks face on the Hulk also looks terrible. Norton cared about the character, he approached it with respect and depth while giving us a savage and ferocious Hulk.
I'll always remember that time when She Hulk said that being catcalled is somehow worst than being abused by biological father, watched him killed your mom, literally got nuked by a gamma bomb, and being hunted down by military for the rest of his life.
I feel so terrible for the hulk who doesn't get any respect from Marvel. The Hulk should get more credit because he's apart of Marvel, both hulk and Bruce banner are one of my favourite characters in Marvel alongside Deadpool and Bucky Barnes but that's besides the point. I just think the Hulk should get the respect he deserves.
The tragedy is this, I believe, Hulk and Thor’s transformation into more comedic, less imposing figures in the MCU reflects a shift in storytelling to prioritize humor and relatability over traditional stoic heroism. That’s what modern writers and movie executives like Kevin Feige. This approach broadens their appeal but has been criticized for undermining their iconic strength and gravitas, as seen in adaptations like Thor: Ragnarok and She-Hulk, where humor sometimes overshadows their once-mythic personas. This is sad but I love how both Thor and Hulk are written beautifully in “Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” cartoon series. I wish the show continued with another season. I love that show more than the MCU.

13:55 yk hulks healing factor is the best in Marvel, even better than wolverine and Deadpool in the comics it is one of the things that makes him so hard to kill
@lonewolf_a_real1 Correct. However, there is a huge caveat to that. Universal owned the full film distribution rights to any Hulk focused films. Meaning Disney/Marvel can’t do that unless Universal distributed the film(s).
The funny thing about the Hulkbuster koing Hulk is that in the comics, the Hulkbuster Ironman armor has an ABYSMAL track record against the Hulk. Every fight it has against Hulk, it's either unable to put him down or gets reduced to scrap metal. Heck, even a laid-back Professor Hulk can casually toy around with an Iron Man in the Hulkbuster suit who's trying to kill him. Even when Stark uses multiple Hulkbuster suits and weaponizes an entire continent, Hulk still babyshakes the suits 😅
People hated Edward Norton for wanting to tell a real story with the Hulk instead of the formulaic crap that plagues us today. Ive always stood by his movie since it understands Hulk.
Maybe if they got and kept an actually likeable actor to play the hulk, not someone with heavy identity politics and even defending convicted pedophiles (yes, Ruffalo did this), they wouldn't have this issue
@ashleypanzica2696 yep, the Joseph Rosenbaum case, the convicted pedophile who joined in the 2020 riots and tried to attack Kyle Rittenhouse, after Kyle defended himself the woke mob saw Rosenbaum's death as 'one of their own', and even after it was made public to all he was a convicted child rap*st, Ruffalo defended him like a martyr, and never addressed the facts about what he did.
Great video. Honestly, Hulk 2008 is so different in terms of tone, characterization of Hulk/Banner, and having a different actor playing Hulk, that i don't consider it canon to the mcu( i mean that In a good way). 2008 handled the Hulk perfectly in terms of power, character, and design. Mark Ruffolo is a whiny prick( both as Bruce and in real life) and even with the audio editing, I can still hear his goofy voice. Hulk is so damaged in the MCU, that he'd be better off in a rebooted movie series.
Marvel Shills: OMG Marvel is cooking I can't wait for RDJ as Dr. Doom Me: You seriously think that the same bafoons that disrespected their 3rd biggest pre-2008 hero behind Spidey and Wolvey for an entire decade straight will give arguably their greatest villain any justice?
@@JonathanGaetaYeah, I have zero hope in them not screwing up Dr Doom. He's likely just gonna be another Tony Stark clone just like Ultron was. Seeing Doom on the big screen cracking lame jokes is gonna make me sick to my stomach, and I just know that it's going to happen because the MCU is notoriously bad at writing compelling villains that aren't grey caricatures that get made a joke out of and then killed off just as fast as they appeared (There are exceptions like Killmonger and Infinity War Thanos, but most of the villains suck)
Sony should sell the rights to Spider-Man back to Marvel and so should Universal for the Hulk because they’re not doing anything at all with the Hulk an Marvel is only doing so much without majority control and and half profit
Hulk having a kid actually happened in the comics and him having a kid out of no where after the She-Hulk showed just showed me he had a whole ass character arc off screen which is incredibly terrible to that character.
I went and watched the second Hulk movie in theaters when I was a kid and loved it. Never understood why people didn't like it as much, but do agree that the story was definitely bleaker than even Spiderman, and I would argue, as dark as Batman Dark Knight, if not more so.
I feel vindicated with Incredible Hulk, 2008. I think back in the day I was one of the few defenders of this film. I thought it was a good movie. Now I see everybody’s coming around to what I’ve been saying for years. No offense to Mark Ruffalo, but I’m much prefer Edward Norton‘s version of Dr. Banner. It’s closer to who he is to me and, I’m around 50 years old so I would’ve been a child when the old TV show was on. Maybe I’m a little biased because he reminded me of Bill Bixby.
I LOVED that movie. My only problem with it, is the problem I have with most marvel films. Too much third act finale CGI. Ruined the Killmonger and Black Panther battle. Ruined the final battle in Captain marvel. Ruined the final battle in Secret Invasion, I could go on. Blade taught us, that your hero's finale should be more personal. Actor, vs actor. Thanos worked because they spent like a billion dollars on CGI.
You should watch all the deleted scenes. There’s an even better/ more compelling version of that film. And it isn’t just the alternate opening, that somehow made it into the video game.
I really enjoyed the video, your video really talks about stuff I really don’t hear people talk about when it comes to the hulk and how his relationship with black widow doesn’t make sense, also I agree mark looks nothing like Bruce at all
Basically for the first Hulk movie. They made the dumbest move by putting it between those two movies. Whether it's bad or not that movie would have made much more if it hadn't had to compete with two amazing movies. The Hulk film itself? I've never found it to be bad or slow. Yes it rarely had humor but that's fine. Do think a bit more humor is fine but fo3 serious things especially for something like the Hulk's background? A more serious tone is perfect. Later on? Maybe a bit more humor but once again the movie was good with what it did. Sadly Marvel was blind and didn't see the good potential and threw away Nortan. Pushed the Hulk kinda back in the Avengers but overall continued from his solo film pretty good. Then age of ultron came and it went downhill from there if it hadn't started already
Immortal hulk issue 1-50. True overseeing of hulks past and powers I'd highly suggest people check it out. Also hulk has the best healing factor confirmed .
6:26 wait so Cap could withstand Scarlet Witch's mind control because he's a supersoldier? Isn't one of Hulk's things that he's IMMUNE to all forms of mind control?
Because Marvel doesn’t have the distribution rights they basically treat him like how they used to treat the X-Men in the comics when Fox had the film rights. They really could have just replaced him entirely with She-Hulk since she’s under their control. And have the hulk play a side character which is basically what he is in the MCU.
It never made sense why we never got at least a Hulk Show that takes place between the events of the movies so that way we can get a proper adaptation of the Hulk's Mythos done right. "Universal has the rights so Disney can't legally make one" No they had the Distribution rights to a solo Live action Hulk Movie and nothing else. Marvel/Disney could absolutely make a good Hulk Movie if they changed the title to something that isn't just Hulk or they could make a Solo Hulk Show that takes place between the events of the movies so that way we get a proper adaptation with all the good stuff from the source material. We in fact were supposed to get that year's ago back in the 2010s directed by Guillermo del Toro and was gonna be comic accurate but ultimately it was shut down several times by Kevin Feige and the other higher ups at Disney/Marvel because they wouldn't have direct control over the narrative of the show so they scrapped it in favor of other shows they did have more say in like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Cloak & Dagger and even the Marvel Netflix Shows. Yeah they straight up denied Hulk fans of anything at that point and now we have barely any journey for Banner/Hulk and all we can hope for is if he shows up in a Captain Falcon America Movie as a cameo. Hulk deserves better.
The Hulk in the comics use to put fear into my heart when I was younger because I didn’t know when Bruce transformed into the Hulk you didn’t know what was gonna happen. The only thing I knew was that all hell would break loose. Now the MCU just made a forgettable goofball.
The only hulk we ever consider was, bill bixby as David banner, and Edward Norton , 2008 version of the hulk warehouse scene is still better than anything marvel has done with ruffalo.
It’s not that Marvel hates the Hulk, the Russo brothers hate the hulk. They were the ones that neutered Hulk. The first two Avengers movie and Ragnarok did him right. And now with the Russos coming back to direct Doomsday I have even less hope they will get the Hulk right.
I agree except I say hulk been ruined since age of ultron. Made him get knocked out by hulk buster, that should never happen Ragnarok made him a child who pouts and a joke of character and gave him yet another L in a fight . Infinity war made him a punk and coward
I thought it was a legal thing. Disney isn't allowed to do a solo hulk movie without Universal's "okay". That's why he's been more of a side character in every Disney appearance and done so dirty.
Hulk's healing factor is actually better than Wolverine, he can heal from worse things and faster, so fast that when he gets gutted like a fish and holds his insides for a second his hand gets healed into his stomach and he has to rip it out, so fast sometimes other people get caught in it and die via passive healing
In my opinion: The correct thing to do was to - at the end of Ragnorok, keep the Hulk on Sakaar. Have Thor ditch him for trying to save Asgard from Hela. This could've enabled Marvel to make three Hulk films. One that takes heavy inspiration from Planet Hulk and a two part film which takes inspiration from World War Hulk. At the end of it all, we could've had the Hulk leave Earth forever to care for his own empire on Sakaar and leave behind Skar, his son, as the Earth's new strongest Avenger.
As far as i'm concerned Ford being Ross is just a star move to make people interested, like casting Clooney as Batman Sam Elliot is a perfect Thunderbolt Ross or was in the 03 Hulk. He has that stern voice, that hatred for the Banner family and especially could believably go after Hulk with no doubt.
Hulk's been my favorite marvel character along with Spider-Man and to a small extent Wolverine since i was a kid and seeing how awfully they treat him as an almost secondary character despite being one of Marvel's flagship characters makes me just as angry as the Green Goliath himself.
The Hulk isn't getting fucked over because they hate him they are literally being held back because of Movie rights and licensing, which doesn't allow them to make solo films. BUT everything they've done with his character in the MCU is totally the fault of the writers
As a long-time Hulk fan, I absolutely agree with you on this one. Heck, while Ang Lee's The Hulk is not very good, at least that movie has MORE RESPECT for the Hulk than the MCU after the first Avengers movie. The Incredible Hulk is the GOAT version and the most accurate version of the Hulk on the big screen. If I remember correctly, Edward Norton actually wanted to make the Hulk a more relevant character in the MCU and had some heated discussions with Marvel executives (I don't remember who) on how they should portray the Hulk. But nope, Universal thought that making the Hulk like that wasn't worth it so they let Disney take control of the character and ... Well, we all know how THAT turned out.
Also I get it, they have to give Thanos a strong impression. But just evoking the Worf Effect is lazy and humiliating for whatever character gets picked out for it, let alone poor Hulk after a streak of losses. So okay, show him as capable of trading blows with BOTH Thor and Hulk at the same time. Show him as actually having to work for it a little but still not be super pressed by them but he quickly gets bored and just wants to continue his mission. And at that point he already has one of the six "fuck you I win" buttons in his possession so just have him decide to stop playing around and wipe Thor and Hulk with Power stone hacks they just can't deal with. That way they aren't really humiliated cause it's not like he beat them at their own game, and the audience is shown that Thanos is tough enough to throw down with the classic powerhouses but also isn't fucking around and will do whatever it takes to win, including flagrantly using the stones in combat, thus making him a terrifying and unstoppable force. But nope, Feige and the Russos were inclined to gargle the Iron Nuts from the very start, just because Marvel fumbled with Norton's movie. So instead only Tony is allowed to lay a meaningful smackdown on Thanos in IW.
12:20 She-Hulk ruins both Hulk and herself by having the same power as him (which she didn’t originally). It makes having Anger Empowerment common. Ironic they ruined The Hulk and She-Hulk at the same time.
In all fairness originally, hills was bought by Universal, which is y he doesn't get any solo films, im not sure if that's still the case, but there came a definite point (ragnarok) where they just decided hulk wasn't worth exploring character wise which I'll never forgive
16:15 Omega dog shi writing right there. As a scientist bro would have immediately went to, "You don't have an alter-ego, a second half? This is completely different from my case ... Stay right there I need to contact *Doctor Samson* about this. This could be an incredible break through for me in understanding the Hulk." Or something along those lines. They made him a perpetual loser because they hate the male characters. They don't even take the time to understand the character. They just throw it to the wolves as soon as the here Hero instead of Heroine. How dumb is that?
The fact that Universal studio actually owns the character Hulk , is why the MCU occasionally takes dumps on the character. Now if they actually get ownership, things will be different.
@@KaraboLegwailaidk though to be fair the original audience sadly didn’t know. I remember watching it as a kid and loved the transitions but was extremely confused about the narrative/ plot until i got older as it also simulated the way Bruce repressed his abuse and how he was literally living in a comic book world but he didn’t realize it
Correct me if I'm wrong but i thought the reason why he couldn't get a solo movie is because of the licensing issue. That's why he gets featured in movies instead of his own solo film.
7:20 TBF it would be useless to create something that is called the Hulk buster. If it can't, at least knock out the Hulk. Like, imagine if batman built a suit to fight Superman, and that suit does absolutely nothing.

This video is too ignorant to actually be taken seriously. -Edward was too difficult to deal with and constantly rewrote the script -Hulk rights were in limbo for distribution. Because of this why would you fight for a movie with rights issues which is barely profitable -Because of said issues Hulk never received another solo movie, but was at least a side character I can say more, but after five minutes I couldn’t watch further. Then we can have the Hulk resurface in his mind and fight back against Bruce to regain control of his body, and with that they can show the Hulk at his full power without Bruce holding him back. After some fighting, the Hulk and Bruce can finally come to an understanding and work together.
That's what I would've done as well.
I'll always remember that time when She Hulk said that being catcalled is somehow worst than being abused by biological father, watched him killed your mom, literally got nuked by a gamma bomb, and being hunted down by military for the rest of his life.
will we ever see the real hulk again.
Not for another decade or two probably
Thanos gave hulk a life changing fade
hulk healing factor surpasses wolverines and with gaunlet hulk should become stronger specially emitting gamma radiation.
I agree.
Hulk is masculine, Thor is masculine, both are the strongest of the team, theyre both clowns now… I wonder why?
Disney is trash
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You serious?
Cuz beefy = stupid according to hollywood apparently
@@brittanyc.4540 avengers EMH is heat! Also yeah I agree, Hollywood movies have become too self aware to the point they look down upon older movies and can’t take themselves seriously anymore. It’s like that one obnoxious person in the group who is always cracking jokes and being self aware and can’t handle just being normal amongst everyone else. There always has to be a level of irony to everything
Also miss opportunity of captain america showing his will power and persistence keeping the hulk busy. Like in the comics and until iron man suits up in hulk buster. He is about to lose when someone comes in finally to soothe him
Well... in the comics on the other hand... The Hulk is a total badass
Yeah
Say what you will about Hulk 2003. It was at least somewhat deep. The MCU Hulk went as far down as Avengers 1 and 2. Yet they didn't even finish his romance arc with Black Widow!
“Bench warmer avengers”. I like that. Honestly sums up phase 4 for me (except no way home).
No way home sucks and its all Zendaya's fault.
?? What does she has to do with wheater the movie is good or bad?, she doesnt have that many scenes@@anonymoustroll2432
MCU going down hill fast. Thor has a weird child now, “hulk” has a weird child now just what is going on in the writers room
Marvel is hiring fanfiction writers that make actual fanfiction writers look like geniuses
13:55 yk hulks healing factor is the best in Marvel, even better than wolverine and Deadpool in the comics it is one of the things that makes him so hard to kill
Is my man using the LEGO Marvel Superhero free roam music? Niiiice
Update news: i heard that Edward Norton is gonna come back and reprise his role as hulk in avengers secret wars movie thats coming out in may 2027
I'll believe it when I see it
@BRIANBURNS-y7g oh not it's actually real because marvel updates on Twitter said it too and UA-camrs did to and reddit
0:42 - If Marvel could do a solo Hulk movie, they would. Unfortunately, they don't own the full rights to the character.
@@thehalfricanguy they already did a solo hulk movie. They could've done incredible hulk 2, and they could've used that hulk in the mcu going forward
@lonewolf_a_real1 Correct. However, there is a huge caveat to that. Universal owned the full film distribution rights to any Hulk focused films. Meaning Disney/Marvel can’t do that unless Universal distributed the film(s).
Nah they can use hulk like spidernan 😂😂😂😂
Yk the MCU did irreversible damage to the hulk when he’s not talked in a versus convo and instead is clowned on
I mean yeah they refuse to make him cool and he’s nothing but a mascot in the films 🙄
Not a Mascot! Even Mascots have respect for example Mickey of Disney & Pikachu of Pokemon.
That's because the comics actually treat the suit how it's supposed to, like a glorified chew toy for the Hulk to beat on and calm down.
People hated Edward Norton for wanting to tell a real story with the Hulk instead of the formulaic crap that plagues us today. Ive always stood by his movie since it understands Hulk.
ngl im kinda sad the CANT make a hulk movie due to copyright issues
Maybe if they got and kept an actually likeable actor to play the hulk, not someone with heavy identity politics and even defending convicted pedophiles (yes, Ruffalo did this), they wouldn't have this issue
W-what? That's disgusting! 😑🤢
Mark defending pedopiles? Nah bring back Edward Norton .
Wait he did what???
@@detectiveluck2899 yep, just Google mark ruffalo defends joseph rosenbaum
The reason why the hulk got nerfed so bad was because he is one of the embodiments of masculine energy and the m she u can’t allow that to happen
Not to mention that the incredible Hulk movie for the MCU didn't do well the box office
I can't believe you really typed this unironically. You sound like the generic antiwokie.
There's plenty of masculine MCU characters. We're seeing it with Red Hulk too. No idea what you're going on about it. Lmao
Doom
Me: You seriously think that the same bafoons that disrespected their 3rd biggest pre-2008 hero behind Spidey and Wolvey for an entire decade straight will give arguably their greatest villain any justice?
Tbh, idk. I just want a good story bruh
God please don't let those fools ruin doom
@@faeyzaihsanulfikri9975 they will. I don’t have shill glasses on thinking they won’t ruin Doom, trust me they will
@@JonathanGaetaYeah, I have zero hope in them not screwing up Dr Doom.
Marvel (essentially Disney now) doesn’t give a fuck about Marvel characters at all! It’s not only the Hulk. 😏
The hulk is neutral at best, but to be a hero he has to be good. Hulk is badly represented. Same issue with Kraven
I think Hulk Fandom is the perfectly example of why studios will air on the side of making the same thing over and over.
They say it's universal. They won't allow Disney to make a movie.
Why can’t they just share the rights like Sony does with Spider-Man?
Royalty.
@@petermj1098money? It's quite literally the only answer
Probably
@@petermj1098 MONEH
Sony should sell the rights to Spider-Man back to Marvel and so should Universal for the Hulk because they’re not doing anything at all with the Hulk an Marvel is only doing so much without majority control and and half profit
Putting aside that Nat would’ve made 10x more sense with Steve or Bucky, they REALLY did my boy Hulk dirty.
They probably view a character that gets angry as toxic
Hulk having a kid actually happened in the comics and him having a kid out of no where after the She-Hulk showed just showed me he had a whole ass character arc off screen which is incredibly terrible to that character.
The other thing too is Skar isn't Banner's son he's Hulk's. I don't understand how Marvel Cinema still doesn't get The Hulk IS his own person.
For the solo movie thing, it is some weird legal situation where they don't have the rights to a solo movie but have the rights for everything else.
@ I have seen the deleted scenes from that film. I wish they would’ve left those in.
I've always thought it was a good movie, along with Ang Lee's Hulk.
@@DavidMartinez-ce3lp Whoa, whoa, whoa. lets not get crazy now and bring Ang Lee into this.
I honestly never thought I would see the day they would destroy the hulk over multiple years. The incredible hulk was the last time he was at his peak
Deadass bruh, you're absolutely right about the way they've done Big Green after Norton portrayed him so well. Nothing but comic relief in the MCU.
I really enjoyed the video, your video really talks about stuff I really don’t hear people talk about when it comes to the hulk and how his relationship with black widow doesn’t make sense, also I agree mark looks nothing like Bruce at all
14:52 " stop tañking to her because she is mid snyway " damnn 😂😂😂
I feel like they don't know how to handle displaying power at the scale needed to let their characters be at full power
Id prefer she hulk takes his place and he fades into the background they just keeping making hulk worse
The incredible hulk 2008 is the GOAT
How does hulk lose to thanos and doesn’t want to fight again. Where did his rage go? where’s he’s healing? Where’s world breaker hulk
Its a complete character assassination of there's any avenger who'd want the smoke it'd be hulk
"Look how they massacred my boy"
Made him get knocked out by hulk buster, that should never happen
Ragnarok made him a child who pouts and a joke of character and gave him yet another L in a fight .
Used to love MCU Hulk, but man he hasn’t hit the same Endgame. How could such an iconic hero get shafted so hard 😭
As far as i'm concerned Ford being Ross is just a star move to make people interested, like casting Clooney as Batman
Sam Elliot is a perfect Thunderbolt Ross or was in the 03 Hulk.
I almost turned into hulk myself seeing how they not only disgraced him but she hulk and skaar also making abomination a parody smh
The Hulk isn't getting fucked over because they hate him they are literally being held back because of Movie rights and licensing, which doesn't allow them to make solo films. BUT everything they've done with his character in the MCU is totally the fault of the writers
Omg I love how you use Lego Marvel Superheroes soundtrack
Same here. The nostalgia is real with this one.
2:13 I disagree as that was to mimic a comic book
How the hell does he not know that?
@@KaraboLegwailaidk though to be fair the original audience sadly didn’t know. I remember watching it as a kid and loved the transitions but was extremely confused about the narrative/ plot until i got older as it also simulated the way Bruce repressed his abuse and how he was literally living in a comic book world but he didn’t realize it
12:54 also had to comment again... who was in that ship that shot at the hulk that got his cousin turned into she hulk? 😂 they never talked about that
Correct me if I'm wrong but i thought the reason why he couldn't get a solo movie is because of the licensing issue. That's why he gets featured in movies instead of his own solo film.
0:55
Why would Disney let the embodiment of toxic masculinity be put on a pedestal and have any redeeming qualities? 🤷
7:20 TBF it would be useless to create something that is called the Hulk buster. If it can't, at least knock out the Hulk.
Like, imagine if batman built a suit to fight Superman, and that suit does absolutely nothing.
@@sibusisomoyo464 lol it did do nothing, the kryptonite did the trick. But I get what you're saying. I always though hulk buster was meant to hold him at bay not defeat him
I think Hulk and Thor are both going through a similar humiliation ritual. Neither one is allowed to be as cool or epic as their comic counterparts. Thor losing basically all of the high fantasy speech mannerisms is the biggest tell.
Disney doesn’t own the rights to Hulk movies, Universal Studios does, so they can’t make a mcu movie unless they do a contract like with Sony. That’s why years ago they were killing off characters they didn’t have movie rights to in the comics.
You from Baltimore? Them dew's and yew's killing me 😂
As much as I love Endgame, I hate the time skip from regular hulk to professor hulk. I know putting a movie in-between wouldn't work, but I wish a big production was made, at least later, focusing just on hulk and how he became professor hulk
Hulk legally can’t have a solo movie
This video is too ignorant to actually be taken seriously.
-Edward was too difficult to deal with and constantly rewrote the script
-Hulk rights were in limbo for distribution. Because of this why would you fight for a movie with rights issues which is barely profitable
-Because of said issues Hulk never received another solo movie, but was at least a side character
I can say more, but after five minutes I couldn’t watch further. I have my grievances on how the MCU handled the Hulk. But this creator is just wrong and or ignorant to the real world problems of the Hulk these past few years.
I like this content, feels humble. Its my first video though but I like this
Hulk, who had the second MCU movie ever-only ever got one movie. In nearly 20 years. Hulk who was on Marvel’s Mt. Rushmore was never made a focus of the franchise, and when everybody got their revenge on Thanos in Endgame-he didn’t.
In fact, the one thing that should’ve been a Hulk focus and earned a movie-the World War Hulk storyline-is jjst a side story to Thor in Ragnarock. The disrespect of Hilk by the MCU is completely disgusting and genuinely disgusting.
At least he didnt get nerfed in his only solo film and have his core traits given to his supporting characters and then killed offscreen in a bid to exploit an actor's death and then cant even appear in a cartoon.
