I remember this game. I was playing simcopter on the computer while watching it. We just expected to win back then. A classmate of mine (7th grade at the time) came back from the game and told me the next Monday that there was an ugly feeling after the game for some reason. Found out why the next Friday

@@jrino1979K-State had a much better team than their 6-6 record in 2001. The reason the tackling by Nebraska was shaky is because KSU had some really good skill players in Roberson and Scobey and Lockett

A forward lateral in this running game is a forward pass when the quarterback is behind the line on an option play. Good thing we had smart refs at the time.
