I was a center in 5a high school football at 180 pounds. I always wondered why coach wanted to keep me there all the years growing up even tho I was tiny for a center and there were bigger kids. Later on I learned it was because of the footwork and just lineman awareness and knowing where to put your body and they used to pull me as a center too and I loved it!! Gotta love some Jason Kelce!

He needs to coach when he’s done. And that will be right after the green black and silver confetti drops in Vegas. Our city owes you a great debt.
Kelce is everything I love in a football player. He's relentless and plays hard as hell but plays clean. That rare combination of an absolute technician and a total dawg who also has an extremely high football IQ. And as if that wasn't enough, he's invaluable as a team leader. And it's not always a fiery speech in a crazy costume, more often it's just a few words here and there to keep teammates focused and fired up.

I'm so glad to have found this video. I have always felt that Jason hasn't gotten the attention, or the credit, that he is due. Like his brother, his amazing athleticism, his knowledge of the game, and his intelligence, have put him miles above his peers. And his dedication to his team is undeniable. Off the field, he is a great person too. His generosity, and his loyalty to his community is astounding. There's no arrogance in Jason, despite being an elite athlete. He's just a genuine good guy.

I am an unusual sport fan in that I don't watch any teams other than those for whom I root. I haven't watched a Super Bowl in 15 years. As such, my first introduction to Kelce was though his podcast with his brother. I had no idea he was such a monster. I played center as a kid. I know how hard it is. He makes it look effortless.
Even though Zach Ertz was great Eagle and helped us win the Super Bowl, imagine how sick it woulda been if we drafted Travis Kelce at in the 2nd round of the 2013 draft who went to KC in rd #3... The durability with these brothers is CRAZY and they have something in common they both, like fine wine, gets BETTER WITH TIME, which is totally opposite of how it goes in pro sports!!! As a gamer, I'll explain what Jason Kelce is in my way: Imagine you're playing a game that has weapons in it, swords, axes, maces etc. And in such games there is always a tier for each weapon: common, uncommon, rare etc. plus it can have a stat on it: it can apply a debuff to the enemy like slowing them, poisoning them, shattering their armor etc. Now Imagine finding a weapon, a legendary one of a kind weapon that has a stat that you didn't even know it existed in the game. I am an unusual sport fan in that I don't watch any teams other than those for whom I root. I haven't watched a Super Bowl in 15 years. As such, my first introduction to Kelce was though his podcast with his brother. I had no idea he was such a monster. I played center as a kid. I know how hard it is. He makes it look effortless.
Even though Zach Ertz was great Eagle and helped us win the Super Bowl, imagine how sick it woulda been if we drafted Travis Kelce at in the 2nd round of the 2013 draft who went to KC in rd #3... The durability with these brothers is CRAZY and they have something in common they both, like fine wine, gets BETTER WITH TIME, which is totally opposite of how it goes in pro sports!!! I believe Travis really wanted to be drafted by the Birds that year so he can play with his brother...what could have been 2 HOF brothers playing at the same time!!!

As a gamer, I'll explain what Jason Kelce is in my way: Imagine you're playing a game that has weapons in it, swords, axes, maces etc. And in such games there is always a tier for each weapon: common, uncommon, rare etc. plus it can have a stat on it: it can apply a debuff to the enemy like slowing them, poisoning them, shattering their armor etc. Now Imagine finding a weapon, a legendary one of a kind weapon that has a stat that you didn't even know it existed in the game. THAT is Jason Kelce. Like none other.

Kelce is what happens when an athlete combines power, athleticism and ability with brains, wisdom and extraordinary perception. He can read a field, keep multiple players and plays in his head, and also power through his own job all at once.
