Thanks to your Nightbringer video, I’ve been using the stretcher bar method for some years now. It is pretty simple once you try it! I have done vinyl tape to the edges (I cannot bear to lose some diamonds with the wraparound method.) the tape is ok. Good covering paint would be better.
That was GREAT!! really useful video, Been watching you for some time but I don't usually make a comment, so thank you for the information and it is so good to hear your happiness.
I don’t know if I have the patience or the bravery to attempt this, but I think if I started on a smaller campus as a practice, the confidence would build because this seems like such a practical and inexpensive way to have things framed. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
The only thing I am confused about it what size to get the frames. So for example…would we measure slightly less than the Diamond art itself so it can go around the edges for that smooth seamless look?
Thank u so much for this video!!! 🙌🏻🥰 I have been wanting to try this but wasn’t sure how to do it completely. Is that washi tape u have on the edges because the canvas wasn’t long enough to stretch?
I had washi tape on the edges of the painting for when it was in a standard frame. That was just to hide the legend and symbols and things. I took off the washi tape and after this was framed I applied a black duct tape. It's really smooth and was a lot easier than actually painting the sides.
Hi! Question. I have a 80 x 80 picture . Ali express doesn't offer 80 x 80 im on the site now . They have 80 width & 85 length option . Wouldn't i need the exact measurement for this to work w stretcher bars ?
What type of paint do you use on the sides? Do you have to have part of the drilled canvas bent over the sides, or can use just wrap the un-DP’d border? Thanks for the demo! Framing is so expensive, and I have quite a few big ones that I’d like to put up. As an aside, I had good luck with a smaller 30x50 using the magnet hangers that attach to the top and bottom and hang with a string (or on a hook.) However, I used a very strong glue to help the magnets because the magnets were not strong enough to hold the DP themselves. I wouldn’t try those on anything bigger than that size.
I originally was going to paint with acrylic black but found a Rhino tape (think duct tape) in that color and just taped the sides neatly. That will add another layer of security as well 😊 there is a hanging type I've used with cement glue and it works really well, I think I shared that video before but I might put it up in the community tab as well!
Hi Rachel I came across your video on framing diamond painting with stretcher bars , I have a question I never have framed a painting before I have bought other things from aliexpress, my question is I have a 50 cm by 50 cm which is 19.68 inches by 19.68 inches. Do I order the same size for a wrap around or ask for custom size. By watching you makes it look easy. I hope you have a blessed day!
If you want the drills to wrap around, you need to order a size smaller. I'd get it custom made. I believe it is -3cm on each side which would be 44x44cm
Great video - Where did you get the DP from? I'm looking for DP that I can use in my house for decor (i don't want all picture of woman in my house) Thanks in Advance
This one was from AliExpress (2018) so I don't recommend it anymore due to their approach to selling unlicensed art. However you can find gorgeous abstract art from many shops that do sell licensed, and there's a super handy shop list on Diamonds and Emeralds FB group!
I use a common hanging kit from the hardware store. It comes with two looped screws and a wire. Then hang it on a nail/picture frame hook like normal 😄 you could also use the command Velcro strips as well for no damage.
This was such good timing for me as I’ve been wondering how to frame my canvases. Thank you much
Thanks so much for sharing! This looked super easy! Seems to be the easiest looking framing I’ve ever seen lol ❤
What a brilliant solution. Thanks Rachel
❤❤❤ Amazing!!! Thank you, I'm so happy to hear your voice again 💋❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!

Thanks for this video..looks difficult to me and knowing me I would mess it up .

It's totally beginner friendly!
I don't see the link to order

You said it was easy, but it doesn’t look like it to me! It turned out great though.

Yes, you would. You But when I asked them if they can do a custom size for you.

@@RachelRaeCraft Thanks, both are great ideas! Duct tape is practically decorative these days with all of the colors and patterns it comes in, lol.

Did you seal the diamonds before framing?
Nope! But you can if you like. ☺️
How do you hang it up on your wall?
