That turned out really good. The pink on the canvas makes the diamond painting pop really good.
Some day I’d like to try diamond painting. Thank you for the tips!
Another well done canvas. They are handy. I love canvases. Diamond painting, cross stitching. Love love.
Oooooh good idea! I never thought about using washi tape on the canvas. That turned out awesome!
Thank you for this tutorial! Beautiful DP and the framing is perfect❤️
I Love this idea. Great for smaller paintings. Thankyou for Sharing Your Knowledge😊
Oh, I Love that Diamond Painting. 💖 Very lovely way to hang it up. 💖
Thank you SO much!! Can't wait to try this. I enjoy you so much and you truly inspired me to get into DP!! Thank you with all my 💘!!
Nicely done. After I paid a hefty price for one big DAP, I decided to do the rest on my own. I did this but also added decorative flat corner protectors. Sometimes in metal, sometimes in cardboard that I paint. Scrapbookers use them for their projects .
Thank you. Thinking of maybe doing this with some cross stitch pieces.
Turned out great. Will have to try this on one.
What a beautiful job, thank you for sharing the Washi Tape idea. I do mine on wrapped canvas as well. The only thing I have done differently so far, is I actually use acrylic paints on my borders around the Diamond Painting. I will definitely try one with spray paint to see which method I prefer, I think spray paint will be quicker and less mess.😊
I love watching your videos, so helpful!
That came out so pretty!
While I am adding drills to my dp, I use clear tape all around it. That way my arm won't stick to it, plus it helps when cutting along the edge later.
I love this idea...it came out great!
Excellent idea thanks heaps!!!! Love it, and that was so pretty, I’m hooked on the eye ones lol
Great job!!! I’m going to give this a try.
I use a magnetic mat and ruler which helps to anchor the pic to the mat to cut with a box cutter.
I have one, my first. Waiting to figure out how to frame it. I think I will try this thank you.
Thanks. Great info and not allot of chatter. Really appreciate the ideas. Btw. I love that print!
Looks great. I'm gonna miss seeing that eye in your videos 😍
Beautiful and so easy to do. Thank you.
Does it look very different when you seal it. Wondering if it's not as sparkly
This was a long time ago. I don't seal my diamond paintings any longer. But if you use mod podge glitter blast it puts extra glitter on it.
Just wondering why u cut so close to the diamonds ? Great job, love it
Because I don't want any of the white border showing.
Very nice Danielle!
Where did you het the canvas? I don't see it below. Thank you!
It is the first link in the description box.
@@Stitcherista I'm such a bone head!!😜
If you did use the Mod Podge to seal it, at what step would you do it?
I would seal it before I put it on the artist canvas.
@@StitcheristaOK. Thank you.
Great video btw. I have baught this art canvas at Michaels and wondering if this will be ok for my 80*100 cm painting? And what type of glue do you use to glue it onto the art canvas? Thanks💗
I use a spray adhesive. I'm sure the canvas is fine that you bought.
Is it a non toxic spray? That’s what they told me to use at Michelle’s. Because if I use any other, it will yellow the painting over time. And where can I buy the spray glue from. Amazon? And what name brand is it. Also, what type of pink spray paint did you use on the art canvas? Thanks for your help. This is my first time doing this. And very nervous about doing something wrong. Are you on Facebook?
Looks great!
You must have great washi tape. I am using some around my work in progress, but it keeps peeling up at the ends.
I really like your idea of spray painting, and think I will give this a try. Thank you!
What kind of tape did you use?
It is stitchery tape
I have a diamond painting that isn’t square. Do you use the same process?
Yes, I do the same process.
Great demo
Hi what do you seal your paintings with normally?
I don't seal my diamond paintings normally. I have sealed one and I used mod podge extreme glitter.
In Mexico they sell most the diamond paintings in the markets on canvas
You just gave me a wonderful idea. I recently finished a painting to gift to my daughter, but can't afford a frame for it. Thanks to you, I now know how I'm going to present it to her. Thank you so very much. 🙂
you all prolly dont give a shit but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account?
I somehow forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Drake Curtis Instablaster =)
@Gus Rohan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Gus Rohan it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
@Drake Curtis happy to help =)
What type of tape is that? I couldn’t hear it clearly, but want to get some!
Do you mean the tape I used around the edge? Washi tape.
what do you put on top of the diamonds to keep them on the canvas after you are done?
I don't put anything. They stay on. I have not had any diamonds come off.
Looks great! Thanks for this video!
Can you do this with a 80*100 cm diamond painting?
If you can find an artist canvas big enough, sure.
😊 thank you
@@Stitcherista are you by chance on Facebook?
Fantastic! This is my current project, to frame a Halloween painting! Thank you! 💕
Great Job. I a just too lazy to do all that but you are amazing at it.
where did you purchase the taco glue spray
amzn.to/3iEPo70
That’s beautiful!!!
I really like all these inexpensive ways to frame your diamond paintings that some of you have shown on your UA-cam channels. There's been a few that I want to try including this one. I have a couple of big canvases that I had no idea how he's going to frame once I finish them and if you take it into a craft store , like Michael's it's gonna cost an arm and a leg. This actually looks really easy! Quick question did you see any other colors as well such as black? Thanks!
I have only seen black and white.
Looks great!!
Hi! I'm new at diamond painting...I love it. However, finding the right frame size is very frustrating!! I like your idea! Just wondering, why do u use the wasabi tape? Does it overlap any of the diamonds or is it just for visual effect?
It doesn't overlap the diamonds. It is just for visual effect.
Where do you purchase the pastel color canvas board?
I purchased it white and spray painted it pink. I thought I had said that in the beginning of the video.
It is very hard to do this with a large painting. I couldnt get the picture on straight. They was no excess room on the canvas. Plus I use the cheap paint (50 cents). So I don't have alot left over.
Now I have more use for my 500 million blank canvases. lol I am working on an acrylic Starry Night painting though. And another commissioned Autumn painting. :D
I am so going to do this with my diamond paintings
Great job!🤗
LOVE this procedure but I honestly have never possessed or used ANY Washi tape that sticks like that!!!!
Hi Stitcherista! This is great. I have two projects to frame. I have a question: Is the washi tape over lapping onto the top of the diamonds? Or, is the edge of the tape even with the outside of the Diamond art to hide that dark line? Thank you!
The washi tape is even with the outside of the diamond art.
@@Stitcherista Thank you!
Beautiful!!!
Looks Awesome Danielle!!!!! ;)
Hi there. Its been a bit since I tuned in. Have you tried a rotary cutter with the ruler instead of the box cutter? It might work much better that the cutter or the scissors. Have a great day!
I have not tried that yet. I will have to give that a shot.
This is how I frame my diamond paintings as well, and sometimes I put some ribbon around the edge like a frame. An I seal all of my diamond paintings, I just don't trust that the diamonds will stay on by themselves over time, even if they are under glass.
Shauny Thomas what do you seal with?
@@Lauri4612 I use Modge Podge Gloss
@@Lauri4612 I sometimes also use DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss glaze from Amazon
I actually have two diamond paintings I framed a year ago without sealing and without glass and no diamonds have fallen off.
@@Stitcherista I would be afraid of the heat melting the diamonds.
Have you ever wrapped the painting around the canvas?
I have done that. I think I watched a video first. It was a canvas I bought in the US, which I think is why the measurements worked. It was my first dp, Starry Night. I used a staple gun to wrap it. Then I was able to drop the canvas into a 16x20 frame. I love how it turned out!
On the other hand, I am going to give this method a try on some that I have.
I have not done that method as of yet.
Great job!
Watch what side you use on clear plastic on journals notebook and book marks if you use the wrong side it will pull the picture off
How thick is your washi tape?
I have rolls of all different sizes. This one I think is a quarter inch thick?
Please don’t apologise it is doing the job properly it is a different way to watch you but if it works better for you that way all well and good as it is short and to the point and gets over what you are showing us I love how the pink eye turned out on that canvas it really does pop you couldn’t have picked a better pink take care stay safe xxxxx
Looks great! Did you say you spray painted the canvas pink before attaching the DP? Or was the canvas that color to begin with?
Another great idea on framing options! Thanks Danielle!
I spray painted the canvas beforehand. I showed the paint can in the very beginning and I thought in the voiceover I said I sprayed the canvas. I thought I had also filmed that portion but had the camera turned OFF by mistake!
thanks so much for this one--I have been thinking about artist canvasesand this really helps...--and I love the washi tape look--(p.s. your sweatshirt is a pretty color lol) hugs, Julierose
Where can I find the pink eye painting kit? Perfect for my granddaughter. Thank you
It is the first link in the description box.
I just paint the canvas with acrylic paint, use Elmer's glue or modpodge to attach the diamond painting to canvas, than paint Elmer's glue all over.
It takes seconds to use a fabric cutter no ruler needed perfect edges

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
What kind of tape did you use?
I probably used stitchery tape. Double sided tape.
@@Stitcherista it was the patterned tape around the picture to hide the black line you saw.
It was washi tape I bought from scrapbook.com
@@Stitcherista thank you
