I have done several paintings and was looking for the best way to frame them. I like the folding technique rather than cutting. Love the tip about using the paper that comes with the frame. You could even use a patterned tape around the outer edge. Thanks so much for the tips.
I frame art the same way. Photos too. Sometimes I use leftover wallpaper for the background. wrapping paper, Christmas paper. possibilities are endless.
Great idea!
I just started diamond painting, and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you SO much!
Omg! There is no way it could be that easy. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself.
I'm just now starting to diamond paint and out of the dozens of tutorial vids I've watched, this is probably the best one yet because it doesn't destroy the canvas.
You just saved me a whole lotta headache! Thank you immensely!🥰
You're very welcome
I’m doing my first piece now and have been dreading the framing process. You’ve made my day. Thank you so so much. Big smiles to you

😊
This tutorial was awesome! I just completed my first diamond painting, a gift for my mom and I’ve been watching hours of videos on sealing and framing. I only paid $8 for the kit, but have poured hours of love into it. Now that I finish I’ve spent hours watching videos on sealing and framing, trying to decide how to not lose the sparkle, do I put under glass or not, what size frame do I really need and how do I deal with the border. Your tutorial has just answered several of my questions and relieved my worries! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and tips!
Great idea.. thank you so much!
You're the best!!! Thank you for this!!!

Hi there Mrs. Crochet, I’m new to Diamond Painting and you have been a Godsend! I will definitely try this. I finished my first painting today and my next project is the Mermaid from Staroar. I purchased based on your review of it. Thank you and God Bless.

👍🏾
Thank you so much. What was the name of the sealant that retains the shine? 🌟
Just found your channel. Your frame was 12x18. How did you measure your finished product to get the correct frame? I love this idea for framing. I have a few that I would love to frame. Thank you so much.
K you for sharing
Please add more steps. I have too much time on my hands to have anything be this easy. This was too easy. SERIOUSLY...do you do taxes too? I am so confused....too easy. How woman? How can it be that easy AND look fantastic?
Oh...and Walmart commented! Who are you and can I have your autograph?
Told you it was that easy!
Hi, Mrs. Coffee! Would you recommend this method for larger paintings (e.g. 50x60cm) or do you think something idea-adjacent like using a floating frame instead of a traditional frame would work better? This is by far the most economical & time-effective way I've seen to frame smaller pieces. I'm curious how it would be to scale up because of the paintings' weight. Love your content and thank you for posting.
OMG, I have been watching about 20 videos on framing and this is the BEST and EASIEST.... (meaning even I could do it). I have 4 complete pictures and I need to start framing. This is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing.. I love your hybiscus picture and it's so sweet that you are giving it to your daughters grandmother. PS. I have been sealing my pics with Mod Podge and I like how yours looks but I couldn't understand the name you said.. something beginning with a P? Please answer if you have time and also do you prefer round or square drills? Thank you for sharing.
Patricia Neimack
@@MrsCoffee1 I will Google that so I see what it looks like. Thanks
can you tape it on the paper before putting it in the frame and maybe you can see if its centered before putting it in the frame? But this is an awesome and cost effective method. I have been diamond painting for years and never thought about this hack!!!!!
Great! Fast..easy..cheap! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, & Your Welcome
That is a great video, it's so helpfull for me cause i didn't know how to frame my PD may i asked you where do you buy your sealer is that a spray or glue don't have a clue and as i spend so many hours to do my DP i would make shure not seen any of my diamond felt down when it's frame, thank you so very much for this Awesome tutorial!
Amazon: amzn.to/3omCsX7
I have done 4 dp already but i haven't framed it yet hope this helps me🤗
That was a really great idea and explaination! The only helpful thing I can think to add, is to use a large piece of construction paper if you want another color besides white.
Thank you, & Exactly!
Great!
I am very new to this and glad I found your channel! So, I am assuming the diamond painting was 30x40 cm...what was the actual frame size, 12x18" or was it larger? Thanks!
That is Correct
If you don't want a white border you can paint or water color the paper...great video...this is similar to the way I frame mine.
Great Idea! Yes you can! Stitcherista just got some cool gelato colors that would even work!
Love it.
Lordy Lordy I about $30. At hobby lobby for mat two cut .!!😮 Thank you Now know what to do lol 😂
Keep them as a backup
That was awesome!! I love this!! However, I didn't catch what you used to seal the diamond painting with....I still haven't decided what the best sealer is for my DPS?
Patricia Newmans plaid acrylic spray. I have a video for that too. Check my Playlist under DIY and random
@@MrsCoffee1 Thanks so much! I will do that 😊
Your welcome
Love it where u get the picture I want to do that one x
This video is a few years old so don't know if they still have it but I belive it was peggybuy
Love it. Been looking for a way to frame some of mine. What did you use again as the sealer?
Patricia Newmans. Look in my video's or even in my playlist under DIY i have a sealing videos.
looks great framed
Look wonderful! Can you please tell me what you sealed it with? Thankyou
I didn't seal it, but when i do seal my kits i use this
amzn.to/3pOJDfp
@@MrsCoffee1 thankyou.
Thank you for this tutorial. I am working on my first diamond painting and it is going to be a gift. What is Patricia? The stuff you sealed it with? I read somewhere that putting glass over it will dull the sparkle. Do you not find that to be the case?
Glass won't dull the Sparkle and Patricia's is a sealer. It makes sure the diamonds font come off your kit. It's linked in the Description box
I sometimes use poster board the same way if I want a color “border”
That is a great idea to change it up! Thanks for the idea!
I use poster board also!!
Is there a reason you don’t use glass frame?
I really enjoyed your video. I just finished an elephant diamond painting. Is there a link to find the Patricia’s?

What did you seal it with? It’s so pretty!
i didn't seal this particular kit but what I usually use is this amzn.to/3daD7qN
What did you seal it with?...Patricia's? I don't always hear right and closed captioning said Patricia's. Also, where can I get it?
The framing is great. Super simple 👌
Yes, you can find it at walmart or on Amazon
Patricia's: amzn.to/3KUWkvb
Or
Miniwax which can also be found at walmart or Amazon
Minwax: amzn.to/35u6677
Make sure they say Glossy
@@MrsCoffee1 many thanks
That is what I’m planning to do on mine once done do you have to seal it
Yes, that keeps the dots in place over time when the stickiness might dry out.
You don't have to seal it since it will be framed unless you had popping drills
What did you say you use to seal diamond painting, and how do you do it.
here ya go: ua-cam.com/video/pM1CXChWgU8/v-deo.html
This is great! I have framed diamond paintings this way too. I always cut the border off the paintings. Is there a reason I shouldn't do that?
Awesome! No my reasoning is only because if a diamond happens to fall off, with being colorblind it helps me to know which color to replace it with. Have the sides taped back like this is to force it up against the glass also to help secure the diamonds by pushing the painting against the frame
You're right it would give more backing to hold it in place. I will have to try this on my next one. I keep an inventory sheet of every painting in a binder so I can look up colors if drills fall out. I haven't hung anything up without a frame with glass/plastic to hold it in. Too bad you don't have a Dollar Tree for frames. They are the best.

I am going to look into ordering from them online
great diamond paintings
Thank you
