    Very grateful to the creator of this video! First video I have seen that addresses fixing mistakes when double knitting. Absolutely necessary when learning this new skill. 🤗

    I can't thank you enough! I am a new lefty knitter and I keep purling by mistake but didn't know how to fix it. I have unraveled so many projects due to this. Now I saved my latest one! I can actually knit my scarf now.

    Suzanne: Wonderful video! I'm working on my first dk project. I was ready to bind off and saw 4 color reversals 10 rows down. I"m a real chicken, so when I released the loops on the first side, I ran a darning needle (threaded with a short piece of cotton yarn) through the loops. Then I turned the work, laddered down to mistake, fixed it, and then worked upwards, pulling the loops through without the worry of catching the wrong strands. Thanks again . . . you're my favorite instructor!

    Thank you for your clear video covering the different mistakes we can make in double knitting! I'm 3/4 of the way along a row and realised I'd done the wrong amount of contrast stitches earlier in the row. So I've popped a stitch marker in place and will fix them on the way back on the next row. With confidence now!

    Oh how I wish I had seen this two days ago! I am a self-taught knitter and have just started learning double knitting. I had the wrong color on the wrong side error and ended up tinking three rows to fix it. 😄 Thank you so much for showing me an easier way to fix mistakes!

    Oooof. That was tough indeed. A mistake in a mistake. My jaws dropped at the last stitch. But it was WORTH a big gasp. You are such a wonderful Lady and a super talented Professor. I must watch you video on how to double knit and make these same mistakes. Worth the try as I'll be correcting my mistake with a smile instead of a frown.
    Thanks for these videos. You are truly a blessing to me. I hope you will do a video on HOW TO PICK UP STITCHES ON A V NECK. On my swatch the V is lovely on the wrong side and "jungle" on the right side. Thanks for sharing and caring. 👍👍👍🌹

      The V-neck video is coming up. I need to knit the V first though. Thank you as always for your kind comments. Happy knitting.

    Thanks for the great video!
    I had one of these mistakes in my work - your clear & calm tutorial gave me the confidence to drop down and fix it instead of having to live with a glaring error.
    I will definitely be coming back to your channel for help with any future mistakes I will (inevitably) make.
    THANK YOU!

    Thank you so much for this!! I just started a daunting double knitting project and already messed up my colors only 5 rows in, so I already know that learning these skills will be invaluable as I progress!

    So the twisted yarn strands I have several rows below stay twisted. I'm not frogging it! I'm glad you addressed that, I thought it was live with it or frog but couldn't be sure. Thanks for the great video.

    Wow, thanks! I love how calm you are your close in camera work is excellent, too. How much more complicated would fixing these mistakes be if you are working in three colors? I am working on a hat that needs some of this attention, and now I feel I have the confidence to give it a try!

      It is basically the same, just keep track of which side the color should show on. Not difficult once you try it.n Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy knitting.

    Suzanne, PLEASE & THANK YOU, can you make a video tutorial, showing two colors double knitting (flat) with colors using one each hand, showing each edges/salvage (not two color at the same time) especially when turning using the other color. Thanks again🌸🌼🌹

      Suzanne, many many many thanks for your response, I thought you will ignore me. Remember you're my first responder and my hero for such a time ... Did I make you laugh lol. Right now I'm ok, I saw all your videos in double knitting including how to fix salvage edge with big stitches which are my problem. Thanks again🌸🌼🌹 Love you and God bless. Be safe ...♥️

    Hi Suzanne I need your help. I dropped a stitch 4 rows down how do i add it back on without undoing all my work?

    • @SuzanneBryan
      @SuzanneBryan  6 років тому

      Did you continue working without it? Or did it just drop down 4 rows?

    • @francaperotti5934
      @francaperotti5934 6 років тому +1

      Knitting with Suzanne Bryan i worked without it and it was the one before the last stitch on that row.

      It is very similar as picking up a dropped stitch in stockinette. Move over to the locations where the stitch should have been, so that that area is now between your two needles. Using a crochet hook that is slightly smaller than the stitches you are making, put the crochet hook through the dropped stitch from front to back, with the hook down, then turn the hook up and catch the bar of yarn that is just above it, (nearest) and pull it through the dropped stitch. Then go under the next bar up and pull it though the new stitch. Continue doing this until you have reached the needles and put the new stitch up on the left needle with correct stitch mount. Let me now if this helps you.
