🚗 Ever felt the thrill of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in a Tesla Model 3? It's a breathtaking experience. But today, we're taking it up a notch.
💡 What is the "Acceleration Boost"?
If you own a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y in the "Long Range" version, you might've heard about an upgrade option called "Acceleration Boost". This enhancement can shave off a fraction of a second from your 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time. According to Tesla, with this boost, the Model 3 Long Range can achieve it in just 3.7 seconds, down from the standard 4.2 seconds. Imagine that improvement!
📊 Acceleration Time Comparison
Acceleration Boost doesn't make your Tesla a Performance model, but it sure closes the gap.
🤔 Is it worth it?
In this video, we won't just talk about the Acceleration Boost; we'll also put it to the test. We'll purchase and activate this upgrade to see if it truly delivers on its promise.
⚙️ What you'll learn from this video:
How to activate the "Acceleration Boost" on your Tesla
Real-time acceleration comparison before and after the upgrade

that's not free... it's freaking 2k$ in the US and 2.7k$ in Canada... FAR FROM FREE!!
CLICKBAIT!
Completely free with the referral program. I did not pay a thing for this!
Not clickbait. There's a way to get it for free and it is actually quite easy. You just need to refer ONE person.
@@lachlanB323what are you referring them to do? Unlock a feature that's advertised in your car?
@@chriscotton4207 If someone uses a referral code they get 500 dollars off their car and 3 months of enhanced autopilot. So it is totally worth using it.
The feature wasn't advertised at all. Tesla states a 0-60 of 4.4 seconds on their website with ZERO mention of a software upgrade. So it is more like a surprise of "Oh wow, my car can go way faster for just 2k!?". Or in this case for free!!!
Hey@@TotallyElectric Could I pay you for using mine once so i can upgrade? Pretty boosted please
I’m assuming the acceleration across the range has improved so better overtaking etc. definitely worth it with credits. Shame they don’t do the upgrade for the performance 😂😂
Thanks for your video :) Cheers
I've had the boost for over 2 yrs and imo it's totally worth it. The car is much quicker.
Puts a smile on my face every time.
Love your video. I was looking everywhere for the new 2023 LR with boost, also I have 5 referrals left 😅
Thanks! I think this is a great addition to the car.
I just bought my model Y LR and love it. I think I would even pay someone a few hundred just to use my referral so I could get those credits to enable boost. I just can’t justify the $2000 they want to charge upfront.
I wish I could somehow get a single referral so I could enable boost. Any ideas on how to start that?
You can have my referral link also to put in the description. 😊
When i bought my Tesla i only got 1000 credits 😂.
If it was possible for the standard RWD Model Y and I had enough Tesla Credits I would buy it with credits.
But don’t think it’s worth the money
"for free" lol
I paid nothing for it. It was absolutely for free
Soy fan de todos eléctricos. A ver si mejoro mi inglés viendo tu nueva versión
Remember, the faster you go, the faster you drain the battery! Don't EVER run out of juice! Towtrucks are getting expensive!!!!
You leave your house with a full charge whenever you want. It's not like you have to go to a station and forget.
@@chriscotton4207 True until you want to go a distance.
@@johncipolletti5611 I mean I'm a turo host. I not only have vehicles on the rare occasion I want to drive over 250 miles in one shot. I could very easily rent a Lamborghini urus right now have it within 2 hours and take it to LA. Being a father of a newborn you kind of make priorities around the kid mainly but you want to keep some itches scratched.
@@chriscotton4207 Hey, my Bolt gets that far on one full charge.
