I first wondered how others do the tripod headstand because it feels very uncomfortable on my head to have so much weight on it. At least in the "normal" headstand, the shoulders take most of the weight. But really stacking the hips over the shoulders actually DOES make the pose easier! I first tried this video a week ago and got up to the egg headstand. Today I managed to move the legs together to the tucked headstand! Thank you so much for your thorough tutorials! The crow pose video was really helpful as well
I was able to do an egg headstand on my first try! I find your instructions very helpful. Thanks Liv! Update: I finally managed to do a tripod stand! Your explanations were very helpful Liv. I observed that my legs feel “light” as I lift them up, so this must mean I am using my core strength. Thanks again Liv!
I absolutely love this tutorial, I've been doing a bit of practice every day and I am amazed by the progress possible when you have such good instructions to follow! I'd be really interested in a similar tutorial for a supported headstand 👍
Best explanation I have seen on the internet about handstand. May this video reach millions of views one day because it's so good 😇 Great tutorial Benny!!
I'm glad you found it useful! It's interesting that your experience is perhaps the opposite to many others, what is it about the tripod that makes you nervous?
I accidently hit the wrong thumb when I intended to hit thumbs up. It’s corrected now, but just wanted to explain. Your videos are great. I just have clumsy fingers. Sorry! 🙏
I’m about to try I can do an egg headstand already but I have no core strength to lift my legs this is the best looking tutorial I’ve seen so far I’ll be back with an update once I try! Edit 1 STOP TYSM THIS IS SUCHA GOOD TUTORIAL like I said I could already do an egg headstand but I wasn’t confident and could only do it for a few seconds and I just did about four “half headstand” idk the name but I did it I just needed to straighten my legs tysm this really helped I, going to keep practising and get confidence before I try to straighten my legs tyyyy
I have been trying to do the traditional headstand for years and never really got around to it. I learnt crow pose very recently and I mastered a perfect balance and I got to know through some online resources that it was possible to achieve headstand if we took the crow pose to the next level and hence I found this video. Below was my progress: Day 1 - I did the egg headstand from the crow pose and was scared to lift my legs. Day 2 - I tried to lift my legs but I forgot to join them together and it failed Day 3 - I lifted one knee from my tricep and moved it to another tricep and same with the other knee. I managed to lift both of my knees by joining them together but my body was shaking all over. Day 4 - I confidently joined both my knees and lifted my legs high in a swift motion but I was falling down because I had no control on my core and hips Day 5 - I joined my knees together and lifted them up until my spine was straight and held that position for a few seconds. After a few minutes of rest, I did it again and slowly took my legs up until I achieved 60 degree headstand 🥹🥹🥹🥹. 13-dec-2024 is the date when I finally did my first headstand!! 🥹🥹 Thank You so much Liv for this video! May God bless You abundantly 🥹💕
I'm wondering how professional u r, bx not u r doing it easiily, but u r talking when u r doing these poses. U really became Master in doing these poses...Bravo. Plus while u r doing it recording, it give much more better feeling compare to , record it then put a sound on the video... I hope you get my point ( NOT NATIVE😀)
I've been doing the other way with the fingers touching and clasped together. I tried this and couldn't even lift my hips because my arms felt like they were giving way and my neck was taking all the pressure what am I doing wrong?
So the thing that didn’t really help me was the fact that you were talk like every four seconds and I would have to get out of a pose, but I was in that this is so good
I can’t believe I just found your channel and I’ve been trying to do this for 5 minutes and I did it and I’m a complete beginner Thank you so much ❤❤❤

I hear experts say the best surface for headstands is the soft end zone grass in Lambeau Field. FTP
I’ve taken hundreds of yoga classes they don’t teach you this
How to know if the core is engaged?
how to safely bail out of the tripod headstand?
What amazing posture❤
SUPER
I did the egg one just fine but I could NOT get my knees to leave my arms
