its the same with hunters with the new change to raptor strike not refreshing itself my 50 hunter unbuffed does more damage then fully consumed 60 melee hunter on ptr
My current 50 hunter does almost double the damage I’m doing on PTR
from what i was seeing the heat levels fall more into how much fire resistance you have also you take damage in MC without normal fire res in just tier 1 so need about 80 fire res for basic mc
I expected a later launch of retail expansion than August but once announced I knew I couldnt commit to sod anymore so I gave my guild my gold and banked items for p4 and I wont be coming back. It was fun but its moving far too slow for a seasonal server and by the time I have a lull in retail, sod will be pretty much over.
oh man, I loved SoM for no Worldbuffs... If my guild is going to sweaty and I need to get all WB I probably quit. I think Ony/Neff, ZG and prob DMF are enough. I still got Songflower in Phase 3, but I wont go for freaking Diremaul.

I thought you needed 9% hit for yellow hit cap unless you got 305weaoon skill and there was some built in crap that basically made you then need 6% hit for yellow hit cap. Like for melee that 5 weapon skill is MASSIVE against mobs 3 levels higher
You are correct, the 5 wep skill drops the yellow hit cap requirement to 6% from 9%. But it also increases the amount of dmg that glancing blows do. So its like the most important thing.

Blunderbuss is Single target, or low AOE. Tempest is Mass aoe. Fan is TANK.
Idea for world buffs. Have them all available for a token that you gain from killing last boss of an instance. Have an npc at the entrance of the raid instance. You purchsde 1 WB / token. You have to have collected the WB previously to be eligible to get it

ppl gonna hate the different heat modes. Casual and dad gamers gonna quit when they wont get in a PUG without WBs and grey/green Parses. I love SOD, but this is probably the worst decision. We just want to go in the Raid, drink a beer and get free Loot. If i want hard raids i play retail, or even Cata

Is it only me or are they talking like warrior wasnt top parsing for most of SOD, and that being "long before" warriors get good? and when they bring up the meme on dont nerf warriors bring everyone to the warriors level they point out it has been done?? i might be wrong but when did warriors do that much damage before raid gear.
Edit: like level 50 warriors are better then nax warriors all ready
i do think that warrior players only play warriors top be on top of the DPS.
Give other classes the chance to be in the spotlight.
The problem is that level 60 warriors on ptr are doing LESS damage than level 50 warriors in phase 3. Devs don't know how to manage warriors because rage is unique. They gave them extra damage so they wouldn't be useless from 1-60 and now that they're going to 60 they took everything away. Imo this was wrong. Warriors should never have had the help 1-60. Let them be shit and don't give them any xp boosts like other classes. Of someone wants to drive the Ferrari then they have to pay the price
If the content is meant to be made for progression, world buffs do not mesh with that. Having one idiot wipe your raid failing a mechanic ruins the night and makes progression harder. I think if you should get the worldbuffs and they last all week WHILE in the raid.
