Good ep! Hard disagree with bobs take on being raid ready if you have H ICC gear. That takes away one of the most fun parts of a new xpac which is grinding pre raid bis.
Great episode! Me and my buddy DEFINITELY noticed the huuuge difference in Cata dungeons with 0 people talking. We experienced very similar things where people would rather vote kick than say a single word. Very strange! interested to see if people start talking later or if it's just a casualty of being teleported to the dungeon & so easily replaceable.

Curse of Recklessnes was not even there in WotLK, not in classic anyway as it was removed in patch 3.1
Also the always 1% chance to miss with spells was also removed in WotLK so our hit cap changed from 16 to 17% as was stated. Everyone knew this though so I have no idea why people would be confused.
Sod will not recover. Super bummer cause it had big potential. Phase 3 was a huge disappointment
Glad I stopped in phase 2 then. Sinking time into something for it to just die off always sucks.
i’ve had same issue with audio. i turned everything on in audio settings and still had no sound for cut scenes. worst part was if i skipped the scene it would bug and not progress the quest lol. so i had to just watch silently.
That was our same experience :(
@@warcraftreloaded btw ive also had other audio bugs. ive reported so many it feels pontless... despite havin sound turned on i dont hear the dungeon que pop.

Enjoyed the podcast, but the healer section was kind of awkward to listen to, especially when it came to the hit talk. Melarina was right about the glyph for priests, you never ever need hit items at all. Overall enjoyable episode though
Blazz you are wrong, you did not cast shields on everyone, you would be out of mana instantly
I didn't cast them on everyone, just on people taking damage. And yea I did. However, it would have been on the original launch patch and Cata Classic is running on the final patch of the expansion. So maybe something changed, IDK.
The only people surprised that Cata is popular are people who only parrot dumb streamer takes. Cata is just better than Wrath and is a really good expansion

In my personal opinion, I just tried of the wow classic community and the amount of hurdles they place for people to raid with GS, WCL, achievements. Its just tiresome, personally I just left after getting Heroic LK mount and call it a day. I am not going to regrind my gear again and spend thousand of gold in a broken economy just to be raid ready for normal. Also the wow token doesnt help. SOD was fun for a bit phase 3 kinda killed my motivation to play it. Nowadays, I am trying MOP remix ( I know it has bugs and all classic blizzard being the fun police) but its nice to try something else.
Cata is popular because it’s good. It’s really that simple

Not sure if that just means that its taking people a long time to level or maybe gate keeping or maybe just not a lot of PUG groups. I thought it was a lot more popular than the numbers show. IDK, time will tell.
@@warcraftreloadedThe more difficult the content gets, the more casual players will leave. Some of them could clear content if given an opportunity but the wow playerbase is extremely toxic and it becomes very obvious as the content gets harder. Its why wow has trouble attracting new players. The community expects you to know every mechanic and have a perfect rotation and thats just not conducive to attracting new players and casuals.
Clearly Bob can only handle playin classic vanilla, I guess this ride is over. I for one after playing classic again in 2019 def dont want to play that again ever. Its just too slow paced, boring classes, boring gameplay.
You sadly might be right about the ride almost being over. I'm a Classic andy at heart. I have been raiding in Cata but I don't know that it will be a long-term thing and if it is I doubt I'll do anything but raid log. So, if cool things don't keep happening with stuff like SoD then the show might just be done. Cause I agree, I don't wanna go back and just do the 3 expansions over again.
But if the show has to end at least we had a good run.
SoD wont "recover". You will be suprised on how many wont come back (since Cata is legit & fun). SoD was a great testing beta for the future Classic+ thing they do in a year or so. Cata rated BGs is the most fun I have ever had in WoW PvP.
If you take away the guy on the top right this would have been an awesome podcast. That guys voice is annoying and he talks over everyone and goes off about nothing.
No way haha, I am absolutely loving this guy. His recent podcast/talk with Nohitjerome was especially amazing and hilarious, glad to see him popping up more, his cata raid guides were pretty good and funny too
