I met Jimmy while he was doing a show in town. Very humble and gracious. This guy is the master of destroying hecklers
I heard from his GF he has a lot to be humble about.
I'd love to hear more of Jimmy talking about the psychology behind laughter, jokes and things like that. I know he's done shows about it before, but it's still and endlessly fascinating subject.

I own his book The Naked Jape, it's very good and talks about that sort of thing. As an aspiring comedian myself it's been very useful

If this guy was American, he would have been cancelled. He's the first proper stand-up comedian I've seen in my life. He's up there with Dangerfield and Youngman. Great British schtick!
A couples of people in the comments have mentioned Jimmy’s taxes but to his credit, he is the only person in Britain who has actually apologised. When people found out about David Cameron, Jacob Rees Mogg and others having their money in offshore accounts and running/using companies based in tax havens such as panama, they didn’t apologise.

He didn't do anything against the law and if my accountant said do this and save money I'd do it. Different for Politicians though, they should close the loopholes not exploit them.

That's because they done nothing wrong, tax avoidance is not a crime.
The whole point of an accountant is to sort your finances. Surely you just go with what they advise or what’s the point of them? I’m sure there’s people who do way worse. Gotta keep as much of your money as you can, I say.

Have heard this from a couple of audiencee's in the comments but not been myself, unfortunately! In actual fact I remember seeing him meeting people after a gig on the extras of a DVD of his. What I do know is Jimmy's at the highest echelons of comedy and if he needs an early night/child prostitute, he's entitled to it/her/him/them.
