We've been wanting a bike for quite a while and have been constantly looking at the Kawasaki Ninja 400 as a good beginner bike. It's been a long time of deciding whether or not to do it, but, I impulsively decided to go for it and so far its been a blast! Let me know what you think! :)

Congratulations mate and Ninja 400 is best bike in its segement. Though it is on pricey side here in India bt none the less its a great bike. I hv been contemplating to get this one for myself too... :)

Been loving it! There’s days I think a little bigger bike might be more enjoyable, especially with me being a bigger guy, but that’s mainly just me wanting to go faster lol. For what I use the bike for, just street riding and little highway, it’s been a great bike! Just could use a more comfortable seat for the longer rides haha
@@DRGOAT I see, im glad you're having fun with it! I'm on a more short side so I was thinking this would be good for me. I want a bike because I live in Cali and the traffic is so bad.

You really don’t need to rev match unless your downshifting in a fast paced scernio. Just cruising around town. Giving yourself enough time and distance to stop. Rev match isn’t needed
Does it hurt to do it? I know when I took my class for the endorsement they did mention not needing to do it, it’s just a habit for me with driving semi and a manual car 😅
As far as I know no, infact a lot of people say it helps prolong the life of your transmission and saves the wear and tear on the clutches. I do it from time to time. If it can’t hurt I don’t see why not do it 🤷♂️
So torn between getting a Ninja 400 or going with the cruiser style with a Rebel 500 for my first bike later this year. That Ninja 400 price point is VERY intriguing though! Ill be taking my MSF course as well when it warms up.
I get it! We’ve both just always wanted a sport bike, so for us it was just wanting to get something that wasn’t going to be too powerful for a beginner and just be something we can both comfortably ride. I’ve been loving the bike so far! 😃

I personally wanted one on and off for 3 years now and finally went through with it 😂. We’ve got a little over 400 miles on it now though and loving it!
