    I have had my z400 for two years now and absolutely love it. The first bike I had 25 years ago after passing my test was a Kawasaki zxr400. I sold that when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. She is all grow up so I bought one of these to get back in to riding. A more mature me likes the extra comfort. But have very fond memories of the absolute rev monster that was my zxr400.

    As for the handle bar v clip on difference, is the clip on inward angle actually more of a neutral /ergonomic fit? Id think more straight across would put more stress on your wrists and therfore induce comfort issues. I feel that on my mtb rides vs a cruiser style bicycle.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  Рік тому +3

      I know exactly what you're saying with bicycles. Honestly, I think both of these are very much within the comfortable angle. Neither one is in any way uncomfortable for me. I think more people will prefer the Z over the Ninja for the little bit of extra leverage that the wider bar will allow, but from a comfort perspective, I think they're both good.

    • @PeterLoweOne

      They come in thin metal framed crates, and if those crates are exposed to even a little bit of water or moisture, they can rust. If the bike was unloaded in the rain, or the crate was stored outside at the dealership before they assembled it (common) you can see a little bit of rusty water on the bottom of the cage which can stain the tire.

I would use this bike for daily commute 50 min 1 way to my office also be able to take my wife occasionally to long rides like 2 or 3 hors long . I am worried that I will be pushed fwd and hurt my crouch and get bum ache and also worried that the pilion would start to feel uncomfortable after an hour max . Is this true . • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  Рік тому +1

      So one piece of advice that I'll give you is to never worry about what other people will prefer. Different people have different tastes, and motorcycling is such a personal thing, you want to end up with the best bike for you, not the best bike for someone else. Having said that, the number of people who buy a Ninja 400 or Z400 and don't love it, is a very small number. Those bikes are just so much fun, and so reliable. Both your riding experience and ownership experience will be amazing. And if you ever decide that you're ready for a change, they also hold their value really well, which sets you up nicely to get the experience that you need, and if that teaches you that a different style of riding is more to your preference, you're in a good place to find what you'll need next.
