I was rolling laughing at the entire video, but the fact that Jewish space lasers don't work on Saturdays was an underrated excellent joke.
Every new segment joke has been really killer. Yesterday's "Seth Needs a Smoke Break" was made even better with Seth's reaction, and "A Distant Look" is just a simple but much appreciated wordplay.
I was desperately sad when the audience came back, but this era of Late Night has been brilliant. Makes me excited to see where it goes from here

A Closer Look is always good, but this one is a stand out.
This whole week has been insanely good. But "A Distant Look" was genius.
As someone whose viewership of Seth waned once Trump left office, I 100% agree. The jokes were right on, and not only did it feel like a strong contrast to the caliber I've observed in recent months, it kinda felt like Trump-Era "Closer Looks".
I know I just complimented with a tremendous backhand, but I still very much enjoyed this week's. Have they taken on any new writers? I can't say, but the segment was well executed.
