      The correct answer is "propaganda" propelled by jingoistic and chauvinistic interests (do not confuse with "male chauvinism" specifically) and aided by the massive media presence of the US in popular culture and their retaliatory potential in terms of economic matters (i.e being unliked by the US closes a lot of doors for countries that want to create opportunities for trade and diplomacy).
      So basically good PR with a hearty dose of fear of economical/literal annihilation has built up the US as the "home of the free" and a "land of opportunity" despite both monikers being severely out of date.
      Also Ronda, people who are dissatisfied with their country usually try to work and improve it, they don't just leave. Or are you under the impression that people are incapable of loving something and being disappointed by it at the same time?

    • @robertandhollyscorpiofan2697
      @robertandhollyscorpiofan2697 Рік тому

      Writing from america.
      You likely would feel safer in those countries, because when a mass shooting happens, the guns laws in those countries are IMMEDIATELY changed, closing loopholes, making it harder to get a gun.
      Sadly, there are too many “real” republicans who refuse to change, they’d rather get money and support from the NRA.

      Of course it's the GOP's job to TELL the voters what to think, (ie, America is in imminent danger from within), but they can also leak out bits of truth on the topic, at other times, and subject to strict moderation, if it suits the agenda of a proportion of their paymasters (the lobbies, who actually write US laws)

What of the guards at the door? They'd be dead before they could aim and fire at the head of the gunman with the fully automatic rifles who's wearing full body armor.
