- This is a 45 minute vinyasa flow. Part 7 of a series of morning classes designed to enliven your whole body so you can move into your day with clarity, intention and ease.
Each class in this series follows a similar structure and builds on the previous one. The first class is a gentle flow • 30 Minute Morning Viny...
introducing all the elements of this morning series and the subsequent classes explore more warming versions in each pose category.
This series offers you an opportunity to build your skills and proficiency in movement and breath work. You'll get to experience all the benefits of a regular morning practice and step into your day more intentionally.
A physically energising class incorporating twists and spinal extension, though the pace is mindful and meditative. Explore a full body and complete practice at an un rushed pace leaving you feeling quietly energised, alert and feeling present for your day ahead. Class includes an optional inversion, pranayama and guided shavasana.
For practice you may wish to have a block (for revolved triangle) & a blanket for seated pranayama.

Haha, tilp :-) it works. If only it was a word :-) happens so often in my public classes. My head ahead of my speech :-) thanks so much for mentioning the cat cow tip. I heard it myself in a somatic class and after practicing cat cow for years, it resonated x 🙏❤️

What new madness is this - "DownDog Lunge"?! Extraordinary, I loved this - you should make a playlist of your variations, it's astonishing! Half of my Shavasana I did in ReclinedAngel, the variation where you hold on, Fish-like, onto your ankles, worked the very first time for me, following your voice, not forcing it,...did it. I truly love those moments when awareness solves a neuroplastic riddle, I'm very happy! ❤️🙏🏻

This is the best practice! The breathing bit at the end really allowed me, as you put it, to “gently withdraw.” It was such a peaceful moment. Now I’m ready to calmly glide out and enter into my day.

I don't know if you get tired of hearing it, but I don't get tired of saying it, "What a wonderful flow." Mixing a familiar gentle pace with some unfamiliar sequences. Perfect for after a morning run which I took. ☺

This is my new favorite. Just perfect to start the day and with the perfect pace. You continuosly surprise me, Fiona and although I know this is not possible I have the feeling that your classes get even better each time. With the morning classes I just love that there is breathwork included at the end of the class. SIMPLY PREFECT! thank you so much. This was the last day (after 2 weeks) when I had to practice at 5.00 AM but with this class it was just the best start into the day one can think of.

Good Morning! So , yesterday, Nov 24, was our Thanksgiving Day in the US. And you presented this practice on our day of Thanksgiving! It just felt so appropriate carrying that feeling of gratefulness for our bodies and how our bodies serve us and breathe us! For me , a beautiful gift , Fiona!

Yes! I celebrated with family and friends! Enjoyed some music ( which has been difficult) and I enjoyed cooking and baking, some of my mom’s specialties! I was surrounded by sweet spirits! I’m finagling as best I can! I thought your practice was spot on, for what I needed! You’re awesome!❤️🥰🙏

This was heavenly. November was not friendly to yoga-I was traveling for a conference, then caught Covid, then it was Thanksgiving here in the US. I finally returned to my mat to do a real flow as all of my other practices had been super slow as I recovered. This was perfect!!

Fiona, your guided body visualization is so relaxing and sensual. Have you considered (or already created) a whole guided meditation of just that? Like a guided body scan meditation? Your have such a unique voice and way of connecting to the inside body and mind. It would be such a precious creation if you made something like this; and I would share it with the patients at the psych hospital I work at.
