  • In this quick tutorial I'll show you how to close all gaps in Premiere Pro 2024 with just one click.
You probably already know how to remove gaps between clips one at a time with the Ripple Delete function. But if you want to delete all gaps in the timeline quickly, go to Sequence and hit Close Gap.
Alternatively, if you want to delete some but not all gaps in your sequence, you can select a group of clips or set in and out points on the timeline and close all gaps within that selection only.
It's also easy to find gaps in your sequence. Just go to Sequence, mouse over Go to Gap and click Next in Sequence or Previous in Sequence. Or select one or more tracks in the timeline first and choose Next in Track or Previous in Track to find gaps within your targeted tracks only.

Thanks! I have a question, what if i want to delete a gap in just one layer and not affect the other layers?

Just lock all the layers you DON'T want to affect.
