Using the automatic Set to Frame size gets really annoying really quickly if you import anything that's not a video clip, such as a logo or any other element. More often than you'd think, you want to bring an element in exactly at the size it was created. My recommendation is to assign a shortcut key to Set to Frame Size. I use F9.

I’ve been using Premiere for years and actually learned a lot from this ‘basic’ channel. And the ad read was so well integrated, I didn’t feel sold to. Good stuff!!
The plugin is really convenient. And the tutorial is good too! Thank you! However, the plugin is missing an option, when you click on a video on your site, down your service proposes either similar videos or videos from the same creator. The pluging doesn't do this. Which makes looking for different videos with the same people harder.

Wow. I never thought of using render and replace for a linked AE comp in premiere! I'm doing that at work next week! There were some useful tips in there.

For render and replace with after effect clip, I use adjustment layer rather than color matte. That way I think i don't have to delete any layer in after effect.

Question re: Render and Replace.
If I'm working with proxies and create a Dynamic Link with AE, a Rotoscope per se. Will it have a transparent background? And which video quality will it use in the final render, the proxy or the source? Not sure if that made sense though.

I started editing in may (2023) and umm I know every tips except the subtitles to graphic one, but I still can't edit like some very fast paced informational videos, can anyone help and tell what should I do to make that type of edits. I've been using premiere all my life, and I just discovered the wonderful trick of marking chapters to the rhythm of music. Wow thank you!
Edit: I went to do the test, I must be doing something wrong because when I go to automate the sequence, when I choose the option "Placement: At Unnumbered Markers" it marks it as disabled. I'm going to try to find the solution.
Edit 2: Apparently the marks are made in the audio clip directly, instead of in the timeline of the sequence.
Solution: The problem was that I accidentally selected the audio track and the marks were made within the selection. By deselecting it I could now make the marks in the sequence.
