Thanks for another amazing tip... quick one.... I have "X" as ripple delete, so once I have made a couple of cuts and want to delete the excess clip, I press "x" on it and it deletes it and closes the gap at the same time... On your time line did you press delete initially to make all the gaps ? Trying to work out if my way is the same difference or if in fact you were able to have the excess clip delete automatically after making the cuts, without pressing delete ? Hope that makes sense bro. Nice one!

I put to timeline any layers (adjust, black,.or else) select all the clips, raise them from the top. I go through the adjust layer and lower it down. then select all the pieces of the adjust layer and ripple delete. done!...
