Sonduren, just saw the flaws video and first want to thank you so much!! Cannot comment there. I’ve had Lexus cars for over 20 years since the first RX. And I’m a total tech geek. That said, a flaw that I’m having is with receiving messages, the bar notification shows up on the bottom of the screen, but unlike my last NX, when playing the message, the background audio does NOT DUMP! If I’m blasting my music, I cannot hear the message. Used to be the background audio totally cut out, same as receiving a phone call. Been in touch with Northside Lexus on this and we’ve been back and forth but no resolution. My workaround is to simply turn off the audio at the volume button and then play the message, then turn the audio back on. Just saying, wondering if you have the same issue. Adore my new 2023 NX Premium trim. Using CarPlay and Waze.

This version of the Lexus line up really hits the sweet spot in the areas that you mentioned, and this fits nicely with the folks seeking a luxury SUV, with great tech, MPG and Toyota reliability/resale…great video! Glad you enjoyed the video and agree with my thoughts JSC! They really did a good job with the NX and RX. I’ll be checking out the Lexus RX soon as well but they are basically the same just the RX being slightly bigger. Nothing is better than Toyota/Lexus reliability!

I personally haven’t seen it pick up any roadkill or debris on the road. I don’t think it has the capability to, but I will double check. Nothing that has come up in my driving so far. Thanks for the compliments as always Omen :)

I am leaning toward the 250 because of the price and naturally aspirated engine. I know the NX350 is the most popular but I can't stand turbo engines. I test drove the 350, 350h, and 250. The 350 literally felt like a go kart, I'm just not into it. The 250 and 350h were extremely smooth and comfortable. In any case, I plan to replace the "no flat tires" with regular ones after a few months and will carry a tire repair kit. I am also planning to have the wheels professionally powder coated black. I really like the look of the f sport, but I end up getting NX400h+ (no 450h+ in my country), its the fwd version of NX450h+ with 265horse power, weighs 90kilograms less without the back motor, acceleration 7.9s.
Love the top 5! I agree completely and I'm so happy you've had a great experience with your NX! How is the leather quality, is it soft and supple? I am not sure if its real leather or not but could you draw a comparison between the leather between your Lexus IS250 and the new NX?
It is not real leather, which is reserved for the executive package so you do have that option for real leather. This is Lexus NuLux leather which is a high quality, synthetic leather which has been around for awhile in other models and the reviews have been very positive. My experience so far with just about 4500 km is that it is very soft and supple and honestly I would’ve not noticed myself that it’s any different from real leather. There is also good feedback online that these are actually better in terms of longevity. I will definitely be providing an update on the NuLux leather seats as I drive the SUV more and more!

Yeah, it’s really good and soft and feels like the actual thing. They did a really good job with this and we are very very happy. It’s already gotten dirty because I spilled some food on it and very easy to clean. I’ll keep you posted on how it progresses through ownership :)
Are you using premium fuel? I was told the recommended fuel for the 350h is premium (91 octane) but you can use regular (87 octane). Thoughts on either? Great videos!
I am using regular fuel. Multiple people have reported on the forums that using premium leads to no discernable difference in performance or fuel economy and is not required so I skip it!

naming 350h probably means though 250hp it's driving feeling is like 350hp oil car; same as 450h+, though 304hp, it would drive like 450hp, mine is 400h+ with 265 hp, drive like 400hp oil car.
This Vs RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium is a close one. NX has the better interior and much quieter ( especially on hard acceleration) RAV4 definitely beats it in the value for the money and usable space test. The HUD option sucks. Waste of money. 👎🏼

Honestly, I put very little kilometres on them so far because I immediately switched to my winter tire set up. I’ll have more to share soon on that as a switch to the run flats as temps increase into spring :)

Spoke to my salesperson at Lexus Lakeridge and he mentioned 2024 NX350H started production at the Cambridge site on March 1, 2024. However, Lexus Canada hasn't released their 2024 pricing or delivery ETAs yet, which is kinda strange. I know USA 2024 prices are out already and a lot of them are expecting deliveries starting mid April 2023. Anyways, looking forward to my 2024 as well, hopefully around mid summer!!
Just got into the vehicle now and I just clicked over 5000 km. My plan is to do it on the first warm day we have in southern Ontario. While the owners manual says to wait until 16,000km I am going to do it much sooner! Stay tuned for an oil change and analysis video 🙏

LOL not yet. Though I was definitely worried I’m not gonna lie. I have installed many systems in place to prevent this, which I’m also going to share soon with you all. Home security system with multiple cameras and alarm, IGLA coded theft protection which makes the SUV basically useless if you don’t put a customized sequence of button presses in the car to start it and one more thing I’ll share soon. Honestly having to think about this when I first got the Lexus got me paranoid, but now that these measures are in place I am happy.

Tesla shows everything around you on the screen while you are driving and shows you the path you will be taking. You obviously haven;t watched the video. You can reach your destination hand free. Lexus don't even have an electric NX in the plan. It is still in stone age.
Do you believe the Lexus cannot see vehicles around it? It does it even shows in the instrument cluster. How do you think the lane change assist works? Just because they don’t visually showcase this like they do in the Tesla doesn’t mean that they are not doing it. I’ve driven many Tesla cars. The full electrification of the drivetrain is a different story than the self driving technology.

I never use their navgation package becauser it sucks. I need to depend on Carplay all the time. My next car will be an EV for sure. Who wants a hydrid or plug in ? LOL not yet. Though I was definitely worried I’m not gonna lie. I have installed many systems in place to prevent this, which I’m also going to share soon with you all. Home security system with multiple cameras and alarm, IGLA coded theft protection which makes the SUV basically useless if you don’t put a customized sequence of button presses in the car to start it and one more thing I’ll share soon. Honestly having to think about this when I first got the Lexus got me paranoid, but now that these measures are in place I am happy.

Tesla shows everything around you on the screen while you are driving and shows you the path you will be taking. You obviously haven;t watched the video. You can reach your destination hand free. Lexus don't even have an electric NX in the plan. It is still in stone age.
Do you believe the Lexus cannot see vehicles around it? It does it even shows in the instrument cluster. How do you think the lane change assist works? Just because they don’t visually showcase this like they do in the Tesla doesn’t mean that they are not doing it. I’ve driven many Tesla cars. The full electrification of the drivetrain is a different story than the self driving technology.

I never use their navgation package becauser it sucks. I need to depend on Carplay all the time. My next car will be an EV for sure. Who wants a hydrid or plug in ? It is a good car but techniligy sucks.
