The 350H makes most sense for anyone unless you have free electricity. Love my 350H. The Heads up display on the top spec model is just amazing with the controllers on the steering wheel makes driving so much relaxing. I was looking at the Toyota RAV4 version but the extra I spent to get the NX I will never regret and it will hold its value better too.

Fantastic video!! (Again) really informative. I’m curious about accessories as no one has done anything in this area. Would love to see MDP Calliper covers, to know about additional bits n bobs, trunk mat, additional LED lighting etc. Not sure if this is on your radar? Again, love your NX content. So I have already started adding some goodies I will cover soon! Got new floor lighting with the Lexus logo and the Tuxmats which I love, that is a great idea I will cover some of the best accessories for this SUV as well! Runflats so far very little with 17,000KM.

Nice review. I'm actually looking at this vehicle as well I'm also looking at the x5 50e or used 45e but for the BMWs I just can't validate the high price and explain to myself how it makes sense to drive a 5600 lb vehicle around for fuel economy! I can understand you completely as I had an 05 Acura TSX that was mint with 200k, practically new, and I sold that because I didn't need that vehicle either...i miss her dearly lol...great job again on the review, I'll definitely be looking at your channel.
Hey Sonduren! I'm happy to report that I finally got my atomic silver /palomino 350h Luxury last week. It is beautiful. The palomino dresses the interior even more because of the roof liner. I am still learning the technology. I am trying to figure out how to get the best mpgs. An suv in general is all new to me. So I have to learn how to park without fear and to use the 360 image to help me do that. It came fully loaded with ML audio, triple beam lights. Even lit door lexus emblems. I am now trying to get Igla installed to give me extra piece of mind. Thanks again for your suggestions. They are very well received.

A couple of questions. How do you use the app to locate your car? What I see in the app is where it was parked last. The other is what exactly are the benefits of a dashcam? Is it any different than outside cameras?@@carswithsonduren
Great Video. I am considering this vehicle NX350H. Currently have a 2011 Lexus is 250 and we are looking on selling it and and Getting the NX350h. Just one concern, since we live in Quebec, with heavy road salt usage in winter, we are worried about the corrosion of the cable for rear motor that affects Rav4 hybrid. Since RAV4 and NX350h share same setup, Are you aware if the 2024 NX 350H is affected by this issue or has Lexus /Toyota resolved the issue. We do not know if we should go for the NX350 with Turbo motor or NX350H.
I would personally go with the hybrid, because the fuel economy benefit is massive. Lexus did put a cover over that cable to protect it from elements. Is it 100% full proof? Only time will tell but at least they addressed it somewhat.

I have a NX350h on order. Thanks for the info. Have you compared the range or mileage difference, if any, between using 87 and 91 octane gas? I know 91 is recommended. Tx.

Thanks Pete :) I would stick with 18 being the smallest you should go with. We really liked the 18s with the Xice tires, it ate the winter conditions up without a problem whatsoever!

I’ve currently got an Audi S4 2015, and am looking for a change to something better on fuel economy, even more comfortable and less chance of me losing my license. I’d certainly plan on keeping the next car for a good few years, so the Lexus reliability and warranties appeal to me over here. Great review….entertaining and informative 👍

Andy. I’ve had mine (350h F Sport) for nearly 2 months now. It’s brilliant. I have had Merc for last 15 years, but this is far better. Just a long lead time, so get your order in ASAP. By the way, I live in England.
The only part I don't fully like is those piano black surfaces that all the cars are getting nowadays. They look nice but attract dirt and fingerprints but otherwise been enjoying the 2024 NX 350h. It looks and feels more roomier in person than in pictures.
Exactly. How long have you had yours now? Small other gripe I wish there was door handle lighting for the rear doors as well on my ultra luxury package.
I’ve seen ‘carbon fibre’ like covers for the piano black areas - I wonder if they’re a workable solution? I’d be interested

The 2021 NX 300 I reserved didn’t have leather or memory seats or pano roof or premium sound and did get 30mpg. The Accura RDX I bought has leather, memory, lumbar support both, premium sound,pano roof and 25mpg.

Doesn't the R X hybrid still come with a spare tire?
Can I ask you a question? How do you lock the doors when you sit inside the car without turn on the engine? I just want to sit inside my car and take a nap while the doors are locked. I have tried it several times before but the locked door light will disappear like 1 minutes after. Please let me know how to set up. Thank you.
There are settings in the display you can adjust to decide how and when the doors lock!
I’ve been driving the NX 450h+ for a little over two weeks and it is awesome. I’m surprised to hear you say you only put Octane 87 in your NX 350h. I was told at the dealership you have to use Octane 92 or premium gas in the NX 450h+.
That’s awesome to hear! For the 350h the minimum required is 87.
Hi, I am thinking about buying the 2024 Lexus NX 350h. The owners manual says 87 minimum octane gas as you said, but so many dealers and even reviewers say "91 premium required" . This not what the owners manual says. Do you have any input into why Lexus dealers, websites, etc all say this? I would think Lexus would repeat the information in the owners manual. Also, I ski a lot and live in a cold climate. Do you know how it handles on snow, ice, nasty weather conditions? I am a little concerned about the runflats. Would love to hear back . Enjoyed your video.
A lot of people confusing the regular 350 vs the 350h. 87 is fine and I’ve been driving it for a while now in the cold and snow and it’s awesome. Good winter tires + AWD is a blessing. I have an updated video coming soon on the 350h with my thoughts after 1 year of ownership.

I've had mine for a lil over 10000 miles, and so far I'm really loving it. People don't know that you can increase sensitivity on the touch pads in the steering wheel. Definitely helped me once I learned this. I have noticed a couple of quality issues with the interior, and I can't help but look at where it was made(Canada)... Not Japan 😢
Otherwise it's been a dream, I chose the NX350FSport over the hybrid. Yes I know, but I have my reasons.

Sorry for the late reply, one issue I've had was the rear light dome switch would get stuck after being pressed and the light would stay on. The dealership quickly ordered a new one and replaced it free of charge of course. The other was that I noticed some small fitment gaps were a bit off or too big around the doors inside. Nothing big or major I'm just nitpicky 😅. On the outside the black chrome trim I have on my FSport is a dark purple on the driver's door compared to the rest of the vehicle were it is a true dark chrome. Thanks for inquiring about my gripes 😅
So disappointed in the Mark Levinson system, good sound , but no heart pumping base for the money, any suggestions? add a separate subwoofer?
Sorry to hear, many people do add custom subs etc if you are not happy with it.
I talked to Lexus IT they only do OTA once a year (ours is Nov 2023 350h, makes sense because our is buggy. But we are considering trading it in for '24 Toyota Prius (Prime) fully loaded 42K because cheaper and we didn't go for the Tech package (memory seats not available on $48k) on the NX because it would $50K. Otherwise we'd wait for '26 Toyota/Lexus fully completely new all Electric vehicles platforms. Thoughts? PS, Love your all your videos! And, yes reliability is sexy!
Interesting so if you go with the prime you are okay without the space of the NX? I am still thinking hybrid is the way to go for the next 7-10 years personally and also read that the 24 Prius Prime is a great car as well. When do you plan on making your decision on the Prius?
Did you install ppf on your car? I just picked up my car and wondering if installing ppf on the front bumper will interfere with all the safety sensors like pre-collision sensor.
I did a full front PPF install, and it hasn’t interfered with any sensors! Highly recommend paint protection film for any new vehicle.

None that I can recommend in the Durham area unfortunately, as I am based out of the West End, Oakville Mississauga. I would recommend Xpel tho!
I have 2024nx350h with one issue. When I use my key fob to start the car it doesn't work always. Idk why. I have to try few times to start the engine. The lexus app works perfectly
Odd. How are you doing it with the Fob? I haven’t had this issue.
I just pressed 2times and on 3rd one holding until lights flashing and the engine starts

My problem is with the run flats. Replace them and the ride is so much better.
Definitely noticed an improved ride and lower noise with my regular tires for the winter.
I hated the look on this car until I saw it in person. Probably because I wasn’t use to the new grill design, but like anything, it takes a while grow on you. IMO white and silver are the only 2 colors that look nice on this trim. All the other colors look weird.

@mikegillespie5218 nori Green was something we really wanted as well. Honestly, it’s fully dependent on how much you think it would be worth in the resell market and what the dealer is giving you. Hard to say without actual numbers in front of me.

.......Thank you for the REVIEW of the LEXUS NX.......However, the Far and away BETTER model is the NX 450h+ "F" Sport....w/ all Carbon fiber outside and inside trim:
Thoughts on the Lexus * 450h+ “F” Sport NX: With the PROWLER LQQK Grill / front Facia! .......Although the 450h+ "F" Sport is VERY quick (big elec batt assist out of hole elec chirps all wheels) * Note: there is No dog Turbo so NEVER a time lag to spool up.....This vehicle is Naturally Aspirated!......The 450h+ "F" Sport handles better than a beemer because it has "Adaptive Suspension" (tightens up on curves and Softens on hwy/fwy. It was Not the added speed although quicker than the beemer because of Huge Batt TORQ / out of hole! however more over, I focused on the OPTIONS: i.e. to use NO Freak'n Gas.... at all!..... however, if need be, use regular & in Hybred mode you get .......*Yep! * 89 miles of eMPG that is huge!!!!....My thought is NOT to use the polluting oil consuming, maintenance monster ICE. ( I do however fire it once every two months for about 1 mile Jus' to keep the Fluids circulating ad gaskets moist. Change the OIL every year even though there is VERY little use as Oil deteriorates because of condensation in the oil pan.........At this RATE the ICE will be virtually Brand new in years to come...The 450h+ "F" Sport has a eCVT NOT A CVT / no bands at all. GREAT TO HAVE A BACKUP ICE!.....This is why I mentioned the 450h+ F Sport is the finest built vehicle! So, *~*~*~ RUN.........D0-Not walk to the NX 450h+ "F" Sport.....My wife has the new RX 350 and much firmer ride requires Freak'n gas and simply pushing around more mass for no reason...the 450h+ "F" sport has increased in re-Sale Value by 17K!!! / econ 101. “NX” 450h+ “F” Sport is the VERY BEST IN THIS SEGMENT ....(See Below: NX 450h+ “F” Sport is quick with torque out of the hole & no slouch at 0-60 in 5.5 to 5.6 Sec...and with Electric only 49 miles with plug in to house hold 120 Volt, & 89 miles per gallon, Reg Gas in EV combined mode Sadly, the 450h+ “F” was only available in California and Florida, Smog compliant states and Lexus RELIABILITY and Re-Sale! VERY very Limited, so econ 101 makes this car go up in price are selling for $68,000 USED with 7K miles at this writing.....(* if you can find one!, especially the "F" Sport 450h+). All wheel drive with adaptive suspension: Unlike 98% of vehicles where you loose your Proverbial “A” when you drive them off the lot. I own the Lexus 2022 450h+ F Sport. Elegant and refined!. Best vehicle I have ever owned and I have had em all Jag, Ferraris Rolls Porsche Orig 425 C Shelby alluminum Cobra, ect......* When you open and close the Doors they are VERY Solid and have a very solid Compression / air sound...very very nice. Even When you open and close the Doors they are VERY Solid and hace a Compression / air sound...very nice. AND MADE EXCLUSIVELY IN: *JAPAN! ...Note the Heads Up display on the windshield W/8” & 14” Info on Dash board with Crystal Clear display on both, alone makes the Lexus better........Mine is In Atomic Silver in color not silver but glows like alluminum just Glows in the Sun Light with Lil" grey / Gold metal flake" and Circut Red w/ black racy inserts... but with Electric battery...Has 306 Horse power 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (Via Road and track at drag strip!.) No FreaK'n TURBO ........(important because it is well known that TURBOS stress engines)...SEE: ua-cam.com/video/_xYnXRqheoI/v-deo.html ...ON Turbo issues = Very Bad!..... I use Electricity exclusively non combustion! Simply said: see euro cars shop time & inevitable “ Check Engine Light CONTINUALLY!!....this car combines the Elec Batt and engine to achieve 89 miles per Gallon ( Uses 87% octane / Regular gas according to user manual) in Hybred mode with HIGH torq, And VERY quick out of the hole....*Jus' blew the doors off a 735i beeemer...albeit for only a block ...( I am no dummy, a V8 will eventually pass many cars in the long dist. (in all fairness) ......However, who cares the thrill is initial take off and tickets are for high speed & SPEED...Kill's! My car has Red Calipers against Powder coated Gloss spoke Black mags and All red "F" Sport Badges. Has ALL Nice Carbon Fiber on ALL interior some have Piano Black i.e. Center Consul arm rests dash board & rear center heater consul between seats. ** Don't mind at all making these kind of upgrades as when you drive off the lot and your * Car, Note: As this particular vehicle goes UP IN VALUE: do you know of ANY other vehicle that will Go UP IN Value today??? MY 450h+ has gone up in value $17K at this writing!. FAR better built than Euro's (mine built in Japan) sadly, new releases are now being made in Canada! Canada is Union Shop, Like USA Union shops...no one gets fired.... for a hang over and bad work??? maybe)..... However, Lexus is Far more reliable...Far better Re-Sale that Euro beemers or mercedes (Check Engine Light Gucci headache) .!... IF YOU CAN FIND ONE ANYWHERE do grab it!......"econ 101 / Supply & Demand" .....~*~*Never EVER have I used gas * but highly comforting to have the option..... gett'n 47+ miles per 120 Volt charge (real world driving my experience.)....Almost Silent operation in elec....So do your research, PLEASE......as this is Far better than any European beemer, mercedes and korean etc. All those are depreciating the moment you drive off the lot & simple oil change / maintenance are extremely costly i.e. $225.00 Diagnostic test Charged Before they even work on your Monster. . The aforementioned Euros …....And are UNRELIABLE and get BAD Gas Mileage , use costly Premium grade gas i.e. the: GAS HOG unproven G 70, & RDX Z Best of the BEST F Sport 450h+ ! ….One more thing, Jus' a heads up!......My wife drives the RX 2020 model...Consider putting Michelin's at $1000.00 0n / @ ebay deal is out the door and balanced......... on your NX 450h+ F Sport............ replace the Idiot Run Flats that the dealer wants a $1200.00 extra for warr because like me, You WILL eventually get a flat and the Run your WALLET Flats are required to replace??? are you freak'n kidding????....Michelin's primacy same size &......Far and away EVEN a much smoother ride, Shissh, Do Not tell my wife ...even smoother than her 2020 RX 350....because My "F" Sport has the added "Adaptive Suspension" along with lower center of gravity because of Large battery centered Low...+ Soft no roll stable ride, Much better ride than the HARD Run Flat Bridgestones that come stock. I Carry a Batt. quality inflator ( DeWalt 20V MAX Corded/Cordless Air Inflator ) and string tar impregnated rope insert-er and Do-Not wait for AAA. Consider Use in Only Plug -in and a Hybred NOT a All electric Automobile!.........Using All electric YOU MUST consider YOUR Consider all the above insight, using a Credit Card to Open doors, start the car and monitor via phone app... & and You WILL Have the Best of the Best in the Lexus 450h+ “F” Sport and reflect having a Sophisticated, Elegant & classy platform as well! This vehicle has gone up in price approx. &17K+ at this writing, since I bought it! @ that increase in value what is the downside? ...Additionally the Korean CRAP!...Genesis,...... Has and is plegged with Transmission PROBLEMS i.e. the Torque Converter ...the Clutch & Solenoid issues cause cross contamination of fluids....basically Korean Crap!// .So Guys!...let's Jus' get real leave our egos parked till the weekend, we all know these EURO headache's are just for EGO!.* (SHOW OFF)../ insecure people for the most part?.....* Crash test on BMW x3 & Lexus clearly shows LEXUS NX the best results / winner ua-cam.com/video/KkV2FtnQhZU/v-deo.html. *~*~*~Intelligent people drive a LEXUS...when we go to work / appointment and or KNOW we MUST be somewhere, i.e. an emergency I drive my Lexus….I have been fortunate to own 5 Ferrari's of various configurations to exercise my Ego as well, So lets leave our Gucci cars for the weekend Polo Pony events. One more thing, D0-Not Lease your car and get ripped off! Jus' to turn it in every 3 years @ maybe 1800.00+ per month...Oh! sure we say it is a write off!.... but you still need to Feed and Cloth the beast and NEVER EVEN OWN IT....i.e. RIPPPPP Off! by the by you still get a write off if you buy this & Jus' consider this: DEPRECIATION Of other vehicles: ua-cam.com/video/NPJnBjfh644/v-deo.html End of story! *The aforementioned is purely my opinion and meant entirely to hopefully give others some insight from a hands on user of this Fine Automobile! The 2024 and 2025 NX350h recommend premium fuel not 87 octane fuel. Can you explain your comment that only 87 octane is sufficient. I'd sure like to use regualr over premium.
Minimum requirement is 87 if you check the owners manual. I have been using 87 for 35,000 km now and almost a year and a half not a single issue.

It is noticeably quieter. Just noticeable enough.

If we had the option maybe, but most likely would have stayed with the 350h since we don’t have a home charger setup. Not sure tbh. Maybe. Probably.

Here in US it is back ordered by upto a year. I paid a booking deposit 2 months ago. Just 10 more months to go 😜. Chose it over the 450h+ as this hybrid makes more sense for people like me who have daily commute of more than 40 to 50 miles.
Gonna be a long wait but it’s going to be worth it :) Best choice we made vs the other offerings in my opinion.

@@jasdeepshangari Depends on the trim and options. Also depends on demand in your area. The wait was 3 to 4 months last year or so in my area but overtime it increased due to demand and low supply.
