Thanks for the shoutout on where to find interesting trash textures! I actually learn a lot of trash techniques from a channel called Bill Making Stuff if you've heard of it
I don't think I have! Is that the name of the bearded lout working for 'Cat'? Also thanks Studson, for being my gateway back into miniatures! I used to do model cars, moved on to Warhammer, then fell off. After a decade out of the crafting mindset, I saw a Studson studios video on my dashboard and watching it reawakened my interest in all things Miniature/crafting. Sincerely thank you!
I seriously think this might be one of the coolest collabs I've seen, that race was just incredible- really felt like you were all in the video together! And your bus turned out so wonderful! Be honest, the reason you used the metal grating and scuffed up your hands was to add realism to your Mad Max costume at the end... all part of the plan!
Really cool wastelands bus Bill! I use sanding mesh for window grating almost exclusively now. It's good at scale, not sharp, and already crusty for rust texture.
"We basically all just make stuff and show each other, oh that's nice" Hahaha! Nice title card! I love the animation that you did over your bus to show the weapons. Very slick! Your UA-cam maturity is coming along. Soon you'll be able to bring the Vaseline jar to the rubbish can. Small steps, you're doing great William. Nice use of the textured packing straps! That's a keeper. Thanks for the subscription peer pressure. It's working! : ) Based off of your video, I just went and checked my wife's bedside table and guess what? There was an icepick in there too. Well, I just replace the blade with EVA foam. Someone is gonna be surprised next time they get crazy angry. Toothbrushes??!! Who knew? Excellent work, my friend. Your rocked it. Sorry about my Dad. He's never even left our home town... he breaks out in hives if exposed to new things. Sigh.
The halloween latex from the dollarstore/poundshop works perfectly for masking, tried a few different ones, all did the job, for a fraction of the price. Great vid as always! Would love to say Shiny and Chrome but Rusty and Crusty is even better :)
Hi Bill, as the host of the official UK Gaslands monthly build contest, my vote goes to you as the deserved winner of this build-off! Scoring you highly for design, details, paint and overall character. Congrats!
Five STARS!!!! That was all flavours of fabulous!!! Well done you crazy crafters ;) I laughed, I cried, I peed my pants, I lived my whole life in one big crazy race!!! Absolutely loved it
Has anyone done the ‘then three arrive at once’ joke yet? Fantastic build. Now I want to do Petrol-lands: Streets of London with VW camper vans, scooters, minis and black cabs all locked in a terrifying death race with flame throwers, traffic wardens and zebra crossings.
Those ork guns work really well with the British theme- at that scale, they look like someone found a Vickers gun in the ruins of a museum and built that junk machine gun based on it.
I Love The Bus Idea! Such a comic You are!! These Builds You guys are doing are FREAKING AMAZING! I SAVED ALL OF THEM! For Later Theft of ideas! HAHAHA!!! NICE ONE BILL!!! Be safe Take care, Put THE CAT OUT!!!
Ah, Germany and Britain re-ignite their rivalry in this wasteland crossover. B-) BTW, I love the George Miller nod before T-Nu's Daddy took you to Valhalla. Bravo on your double-decker death dealer, Bill.
you guys really really went all out on this, the outfits, each of the vehicles you made, and the story telling. I can't imagine how much work it was, but wow.. this is just seriously so well done. you've all outdone yourselves and I can't stop re-watching it. I always look forward to every new video, no matter what it is you do, I'm always inspired to create by your particular artstyle whether its what your building, kitbashing, or drawing, or painting.
That was rough...CrafsMan let you all destroy each other so he could blow up the "winner" - now Crafsman is the craft overlord - all part of his evil plan for complete sock puppet control. Thanks for the bus ride, Bill! And YAY - you saved Cat's life by not letting him go :)
I was sitting down for lunch after rearranging some items to make way for an incoming kitten. Was eyeballing my Fury Road art book thinking it could provide some good build inspiration. This vid was top of my feed. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED TO WATCH!!! I just didn’t know it until right now :)
I love collab videos. I have found so many awesome channels through them plus you guys genuinely seem like you get along and it is not just for the views which makes it feel more organic.
Hey Bill, I've had an idea for the window mesh. I watched this video last night (love the bus!) and it must have been lingering in my subconscious this afternoon when I was filming in the kitchen. My garlic bulb came in a fine plastic net. No idea how well it would work, but I'm wondering if you could cut one open, sandwich it between 2 sheets of baking paper/silicone mat, and then use a low temperature iron to firm it up. Thought I'd pass the thought on in case it's useful
Bill, once again, thank you for your work. You have the same effect Bob Ross had on me a long time ago - he made me unafraid to draw landscapes. I always felt intimidated with drawing trees and mountains, and he just made it easy. The same thing here. Before long I found myself making Necromunda stuff out of junk and having so much fun with it. So, thank you again. By the way, the official Necromuna set (at least Hive War) is boring in terms of scenery - just square blocks. Well, at least they can be modified.
I laughed at myself so hard when my brain literally imagined you guys actually driving these plastic things you made. 😂🤣 Great editing job! (Also, my favorite is that long truck, “T-NU”? The windows vista cracked me up 😂🤣). But I love your style regardless, I just have a thing for monster trucks and trucks in general.
This is out of control with awesomeness Bill. Not only is this great for the Ash Wastes, my father also was a transit man until retirement. Dammit, now I’ll have to become a Patreon member 🖤🏆
New subscriber here. Found you from Boylei and this amazing video! Coming from a diorama/custom figure background, I moved on to diecast cars, and now am being pulled back to dioramas and scratch builds. Thanks to you bunch, I have a brain full of ideas, and can't wait to get into my shop. I have started a second channel called "Geppetto's Creature Shop", and can't wait to get going! Loving your channel!
Omg, epic bus Bill but that race was fucking awesome!! All of you really deserve massive credit for the whole thing. I'm actually going to watch and like every build right now. Its the least I can do after all that effort you guys made. Much appreciated.
Looks cool but after decades of 40K and other hobbies I got burnt out on rivets and switched to weld lines. Basically take some epoxy putty and roll it out into a thin line. Wrap it around the panel you might otherwise rivet, and then swipe at it with a sculpting tool to make it look welded.
Great bus, but an even better vid Bill If you're going to make stuff, then make great stuff! Overtaking buses now makes me a little nervous after seeing just how readily all those windows are converted to a broadside....
I'm pretty new to your channel, like it loads, made kits that come in cardboard boxes but never done this, I'm 62 so I better grow up and start... I love your content, filming, story telling and skills, it's all bloody good fun. Nice. 😎🍰☕ more tea.

20:28 YESSIR! It was fun indeed! Thank y'all for *letting* me be part of this wild collaboration!
It was a... blast.
Thank you friend!
Crafs….you are a beautiful human! We love you, brother!
all these crafters and the crafsman himself -- this is the best crossover in youtube history
Awe-inspiring speech Crafsman!
You got me... the scarring wasn't even visible in the end.
Really cool wastelands bus Bill! I use sanding mesh for window grating almost exclusively now. It's good at scale, not sharp, and already crusty for rust texture.
Good tip! Ill look it up
I've started to use mosquito net. It's a tad too soft at times though. I'll try that sanding mesh!
"We basically all just make stuff and show each other, oh that's nice" Hahaha!
Nice title card!
I love the animation that you did over your bus to show the weapons. Very slick!

Eva foam ice pick... what a good idea. I'll hide a camera too. All the evidence i need. She's going down.
@@BillMakingStuff Hahaha!
Amazing build Bill! thanks for racing m8
13:13 ow, my hand!
Nice to see like all bus drivers you refused to indicate once, but you're far too cheery to do it for a living.
Omg I love the crafting and the dry humor as always but the race video put together was so fun to watch!!!!! Seriously made my week.
What a wild... ride! The windows vista bit cracked me up. Thank y'all for sharing this.
Only Bill would make rusty bus tires.
Other than that, lovely stuff!
That was awesome! Amazing collab!! And congrats to the winner, TheCrafsMan :)
Thanks for watching
Boylei coming in with a premium product as usual. 🙏
The halloween latex from the dollarstore/poundshop works perfectly for masking, tried a few different ones, all did the job, for a fraction of the price. Great vid as always! Would love to say Shiny and Chrome but Rusty and Crusty is even better :)
yep it does, I was gonna show that in this episode but wanted to test it first.
I’ve got a latex rubber plant I bought from Costco for 10$. Lifetime supply lol
The real winners were those of us who watched the video through to the end of the race. Wow. That was entertaining!!! More please!
Hi Bill, as the host of the official UK Gaslands monthly build contest, my vote goes to you as the deserved winner of this build-off! Scoring you highly for design, details, paint and overall character. Congrats!
Thanks
This is pure crafting gold. 🍺
I love the scrap building community. This is so freaking cool!
Now that...that is how to do Gaslands! I hope Valhalla is treating you well Bill :)
They are!
Five STARS!!!! That was all flavours of fabulous!!! Well done you crazy crafters ;) I laughed, I cried, I peed my pants, I lived my whole life in one big crazy race!!! Absolutely loved it
Thank you. Time well spent.
Very welcome
My favorite part is always right after the primer gets added! 😁
Excellent pronunciation 👌 love the bus mate !
Those ork guns work really well with the British theme- at that scale, they look like someone found a Vickers gun in the ruins of a museum and built that junk machine gun based on it.
I think gaslands is the gateway drug of miniature craft bashing. Case in point, my wife wants to make some Mad Max Hot Wheels after seeing this video.
Glad you like them!
This is the mightiest crossover to date. All of you guys keep doing what you're doing! Super fun video, gonna go watch all the others.
Dads being jokes already.... as a dad... I felt that. The bus looks great. fantastic Gaslands ride.
this was such an enjoyable video, everyone's builds were amazing and the editing was on point! like a rustier version of whacky races.
You NEED to make a fallout 4 kit-bash your rust effect is PERFECT along with your post-war theme you have with the Red Router
Ah, Germany and Britain re-ignite their rivalry in this wasteland crossover. B-) BTW, I love the George Miller nod before T-Nu's Daddy took you to Valhalla.
Bravo on your double-decker death dealer, Bill.
And the award for the best UA-cam colab in history goes to… This has literally made my week. I could watch your videos all day Bill, oh oops I did.
Finally, a collab where I'm already subscribed to everyone. Great job!
you guys really really went all out on this, the outfits, each of the vehicles you made, and the story telling. Thanks for appreciating how much work it was

I'm not really a vehicle person but double decker buses just make some part of my brain go brbrbbrbrr so it was such a joy watching you make this!
Nice bus! I like the addition of those cannons. It's a good thing you didn't take Cat with you. Now, he lives on to tell your story.
Rustastic!
I love collab videos. I have found so many awesome channels through them plus you guys genuinely seem like you get along and it is not just for the views which makes it feel more organic.
WOW you guys have really outdone yourselves with this one, what a great race!
oh my god, LEGENDARY intro!!
Love the wheels on this build. The look of caked on mud and the spikes is killer!
"You may be asking yourself how did I get here? Well I got a bus obviously" This line made me laugh so hard I loved it so much
It is very satisfying to see this channel growing.
Love the collaboration videos. Great work! Can’t wait to watch all of them. That race was FANTASTIC
Hey Bill, I've had an idea for the window mesh. I watched this video last night (love the bus!) and it must have been lingering in my subconscious this afternoon when I was filming in the kitchen. If you're wondering how Bill fits inside and other science facts repeat to yourself: "it''s just some crafts I should really just relax"
Bill, once again, thank you for your work.

Even the Craftsman himself. Mister Bill is one cool cat.
I laughed at myself so hard when my brain literally imagined you guys actually driving these plastic things you made. 😂🤣
Great editing job!
(Also, my favorite is that long truck, “T-NU”?
The windows vista cracked me up 😂🤣).
But I love your style regardless, I just have a thing for monster trucks and trucks in general.
I love this one! Very post apocalyptic!
glad this challenge is a thing and you did one awesome job making a Double Decker bus look deadly
This intro is so awesome. Crafsman would most definitely rule the wastes 🤣
Bill looks like he could be an antagonist in an apocalypse movie
Great build, great editing, great music, great thumbnail; keep doing what you're doing! Best channel I'm subscribed to
Thanks, will do!
I'm old school baking powder/soda, but I find the accelerator is fairly strong. Although, the powder/soda also gives nice rust texture and weld lines.
This is out of control with awesomeness Bill. Not only is this great for the Ash Wastes, my father also was a transit man until retirement. Dammit, now I’ll have to become a Patreon member 🖤🏆
Thanks i appreciate the support!
How did i miss this eppisode??????? That was AWESOME.... Well done everyone.
Inspiring, just remember you did this!
I enjoyed how everyone won!
the broadside cannons were such a fun idea for a bus!
I'm loving the bus you built bill. Great work brother on this collaboration man. Everyone did such a great job
New subscriber here. Found you from Boylei and this amazing video! I'm going to make my squarespace site right after I watch this great video!
Its youuuuuuuu
Easily the best episode so far. So much fun. The build, the paint, the animation. Fantastic work!
Omg, epic bus Bill but that race was fucking awesome!! All of you really deserve massive credit for the whole thing. I'm actually going to watch and like every build right now. Its the least I can do after all that effort you guys made. Much appreciated.
That’s a belter of a bus indeed! Bloody brilliant.
In my experience, crafting often requires a blood sacrifice that it will take whenever it deems it so.
Cool bus. Cool crossover. Cool Mad Max cosplay.
These videos keep getting better and better
What a production and a feast for my eyes! Thank you everyone!!!
Great…another victory over our fish overlords!
Oh, if it wasn't for that sneaky car with a bomb, you would have won for sure!
This was epic! You all did amazing! Love the double decker death machine, turned out excellent
Thanks Julie
Great bus, but an even better vid Bill
If you're going to make stuff, then make great stuff!
Overtaking buses now makes me a little nervous after seeing just how readily all those windows are converted to a broadside....
Cheered at the crafsman cameo!! What a fun idea. Great builds from everyone!!
I love a scythed chariot wheel!
I'm pretty new to your channel, like it loads, made kits that come in cardboard boxes but never done this, I'm 62 so I better grow up and start... I love your content, filming, story telling and skills, it's all bloody good fun. Nice. 😎🍰☕ more tea.
You make a freakin awesome ‘Gaslands Bill’
Craftsman as the boss was genius, when i saw the flag i started laughing like crazy.
Big Crafting channels: I'll add some music.
Small Crafting channels: Multi channel Mad Max race
I love the nod to Mad Max, with the Toe Cutter eye bulge death scene🤘🤘
after losing my essay because it didn't autosave this is what I needed to stop me from smashing up my monitor, thanks Bill
For those of you who like the orky guns: Those are most likely Kromlech resin orc guns.
Mad Max content in 2022? fantastic! not gonna lie Bill, i nearly cried some toxic waste tears out of pure joy :')
If this is the future of public transportation then I stick to my bicycle. Great build and amazing colab. And tell Mad Madge I said hello.
Love that you went with the bus.
this entire collaboration is so massively cool! You have a new fan in me.... immediately subscribed and can't wait to watch more!
Bestest Collab ever!
This video is art, and no-one can argue other wise. 😁👍
This is such a great idea, been hanging out for this vid!
I love this one to pieces, Bill. What a great bus, what a good amount of rust. Love the naval cannon concept
Fantastic build man, gotta go check out all the others. 😎👍
That was really fun.
All these builds were bomb as hell, you and your collabbers
This whole thing was insanely creative. I loved every second!
Nail polish remover (acetone) dissolves super glue - i don't know why companies haven't bottled it, labeled it and displayed it with glue yet!
