EPISODE 67 - Today, our hero Bill decides to make MOAR TONKS! As you kids would say... Tonks! is a tabletop game (I forget to mention that. Link below) it's like a tank battle game, but with Tonks, that are just like tanks, but cuter.

As a proud owner of multiple tumors, I can report that I am not offended by the word "tumor" or the super cool concept of "Tumor Tonks." Your videos are one of the things that keep me alive and happy to be here in a world that can give me the proverbial pain in the tuchas. As a great man says on the regular, Keep On Steady Crafting! Also your sketch book is amazing thumbs up on the drawing segment,
Thank you
Thank you
Tumour Humour 👍 All the best.
Came down to comments to say this exact thing, rock on!
I too had a tumor, and I too think calling it a tumor tonk is totally okay.
Whenever your son gets around to rolling the D6, I hope he rolls "become Bill Making Stuff Jr." and not "prison for manslaughter"
Alternatively, here's the other comment I meant to leave: I'm not sure if your son will go to prison for manslaughter, but you should go to prison for man's laughter. You got a couple big laughs out of me in this one.
lock me up
@@BillMakingStuff "William Making Stuff, you have pleaded guilty to the charges brought by this court, and it is now my duty to pass sentence. You are an habitual criminal, who accepts arrest as an occupational hazard, and presumably accepts imprisonment in the same casual manner. We therefore feel constrained to commit you to the maximum term allowed for these offences: you will go to prison for five years."
...are they mutually exclusive?
Hello
Whenever Bill completely fills out his sketch book he should publish it , it’s a work of art in its own right!
I see a charity auction for that artwork…. For tumour research
Your drawing bits are actually my favorite bits. Tell cat I said hi. We go way back.
They're my favorite parts also. I love watching people draw witn confidence without overworking it (I'm an overworker). My daughter's drawing is like that. She's done a few cool videos on Instagram.
"you don't need Warhammer bits to kitbash, you can use anything even...war...ham....uhhhhh"
His voice sounds like a calm version of Wheatley from portal 2
As soon as you said 'Bead Bot Tonk' my brain immediately said 'ah yes, a Bonk', and proceeded to repeat that back to me the entire video.
Big fan of the sketchbook segments. As someone that grew up being nit-picky with every drawing and getting discouraged, I feel your tips and process have gotten me to chill out a bit, lately. Also, I like your art.
Your Tonks video made me OBSESSED with making them. My fingers are a super-glue coated mess! You can only blame yourself.
I have had burnt glued hands but worth it probably

How much longer will the falling noise before the sketchbook get? Hopefully a full minute, minimum!
I keep expecting him to have this long falling sound, and then just slide the book onto the table.
@@NezumiWorks Or the sound goes the opposite direction (up) and the sketchbook appears like it's crawling up from below.
y'know I never noticed that the noise was getting longer, dunno how I missed that lol
Well, he keeps storing the book in higher places...
Never enough Tonks.
The Monty Python inspiration in the stop motion bits is especially notable in this video, love it.
I love the animations too. Dan does them also. I like to imagine them collaborating on animation and film projects as kids. For me, the animation is more reminiscent of Grant Munro and Normal McClaren. Plenty of examples on youtube if you are familiar. Grant Munro is generally credited with giving the name "pixilation" to an early form of stop-motion animation using humans (frequently seen in the earliest Sesame Street years).
Bill says "I know a mini-gun wouldn't be good against a Tonk" but it's being built opposite a Tonk made of meat. It would be ideal for shredding a Tumour Tonk. Are Bead-bots and the Bio-mass...thing enemies? Or is the gatling gun made as a weapon to fight for independence from humans? Perhaps Bead-bots and Rusters have an uneasy alliance so The Bead-Bot-Brothers-Blue has armed itself expecting it will never have to fight Rusters?
Each episode, CAT's subtle prompting is driving him to madness.
Keep the drawing sections, it's really nice seeing someone else's style, no matter how " non technical " :)
6:45 I love the drawing section, you're a great artist
I could watch an hour of just drawing and hearing Bill talk about what he is drawing.
@@Sephyricon same
I'm just impressed with the timestamp. Literally impossible to create
My favorite part of this video is how...just awful the tumor tonk started out looking while you were literally gluing sticks and aluminum foil together....and then how amazing it turned out. Always fun to be along for the journey.
I love that the beadbot arm was literally not made out of beads.
THE DRAWING SECTIONS ARE SOME OF THE BEST PARTS AND I LOVE YOU'RE ART STYLE!!!! Please do not remove them from your videos.
Can never have enough tonks, Bill. Love your videos, as always. And don’t worry, we love the drawing sections, or I do at least.
:D

Always dig that sketch book… your style is so rad! Great video as always ❤i give all the credit to cat who carries you Bill if were being honest
The patreons kicked ass on that challenge ❤
I love how you worked through some major therapeutic processing with the conjoined beadbot tonk twins
i cannot state how much i wish all of those tonks wereactual things that can be bought they are all so niche and adorable. Your works always amazes me and I cannot wait to see what you will do next video
Simplicity of Tonks is actually almost refreshing. It's just something so simple, so primal. Gather a bunch of junk, make a funny looking tank, go and have fun. I love Tonks.
The Sketchbook section is a great compliment to the modelling and painting.
I genuinely like the part where you just fumble over naming/picking out which bits to use. I always find it fun when people ask "what's this made out of?" And I respond with "I dunno, this bit is part of a vcr but that bit no idea looked cool"
i feel like the tumour tonk might be some of your most expressive and fun painting ❤
14:20 Roadkill 663's Bulbous Blue Battle Tonk is a wonderful bit of work 👍🥇
i genuinely adore the drawing sections, it's so cool to see you build the ideas up and you have such a charming art style
LOVE, love LOVE your sketchbook part! For me it’s all most 50% of the videos… at least 41%!!
So don’t stop drawing ❤️
I'd love to see a map of Gutterlands, and maybe a showcase of everything you've built so far for the world.
the drawing sections are perfect! and so fitting!
I love your style of sketching Bill! Seeing the sketchbooks always add to the aesthetic
I swear I live for these! MOAR TONKS!!!
Loving these Tonks, and the lore behind them, can't wait for the battle report.
The intro gave me the idea of space marine armour made out of scrap
Love the drawings. I like seeing you train of thought before you begin building.
Can’t wait for How to make EVEN MORE TONKS
I don't know if you've done this already, but I would love to see a sailing ship done in your magnificent art style.
Your creative rambling is worth as much as the amazing videos. Love the Tonks!
I love the drawing sections. I've always been fond of seeing concept art for games and such. specifically the really early stuff that was them just sketching out like fifty ideas in fifty minutes so it's super rough sketch looking and with the colors being almost slapdash. so the sketch sections just feed that for me super hard.
As a scrap beast. since you asked, i love the sketch parts. and i love that you flip through everything. it helps paint the world so vividly for me and gives me the most inspiration for my builds. please continue
I'm really digging these Tonks, Bill!
I especially enjoyed your bead bot tonk, and seeing your sketchbook page flip montage.
For someone who doubts his abilities with a pen and brush, you have one of the coolest sketchbooks I've ever seen.
I can't wait to see where you take us next!
Bill: makes tonks

Behind the scenes note: Bill doesn't really use a heat gun to tackle those hot glue strings...He just exhales. o.O;
I love the drawing bits your art style is really unique and fun
Have you ever considered publishing your sketchbooks once they are done?
I personally would love to have a book full of your art on my shelf
I like the drawing sections a lot. Its great to see where you're ideas come from and to see briefs for your builds
Hell yeah! Absolutely love the weird and meaty tumour tonk. Really looking forward to seeing what you do with your terrain and seeing the whole set! And the battle report sounds like it'll be great!
I show your drawing sections to my highschool illustration classes. Please don't stop or I'm gonna have to teach them myself.
I love everything about your Tumor Tonk, and the paintjob is inspiring
Said it on the last video but since you asked, I am a HUGE fan of the drawing sections. As someone trying to take some more time to learn to draw it's nice to see another untechnical drawer working and using that untechnical rough sketches to work out into the world and start as a creative jumping off point
Only just found your channel and you give off big Miscast vibes - except slightly less chaotic. Love it
I think tumor is just a technical term for a mass of something, so you're good there! Love seeing the whole creative process behind the sketches
Love the drawing section, especially seeing the flip of the pages before the drawing itself, seeing all the collection of different sketches growing larger with a charasteristic and consistant style is just pure joy!
The drawing sections in your videos are wonderful, please don't stop. Such a cool part of the process to see, and I think of it as a key part of your style now. It also inspires others I think to just sketch about a bit and play with ideas. Thanks for more Tonks, I'll expect another two next week 👍❤
That musical recorder to beat drop, genuinely reminded me so much of my primary school disco. I lost scope. What a Banger!
I can't believe World of Tonks hasn't picked you up as a sponsor yet.
LOVE the drawing part of your videos, please don't stop that.
They really are just too cute 😍
The beadbot tank looks like it's straight out of Machinarium, and that's the highest compliment I can give.
One of the best parts I have found as a kind of bit for making barrel are Pilot pens because if you remove all pieces you have a nice looking ww1 ww2 cannon for a tank or battleship... etc.
And the water hose "conector things" those things look absolutely not usable till te moment you remove one of the cover and then you have fantastic jet nozzles wich you can use in aircraft builds flying things or also as a kind of jet cannon like the soviet T 34 and T55 tanks modified to carry mig jet engines to use them to extinguish fires in petróleo plants.
I seriously reccomend you this particular Bit Bill.
I love your drawing style. Thanks for sharing your sketchbook in the episodes. I like the filp-through.
I have to say bills painting has gotten very nice! He's using like, mini painting techniques and stuff! They both look great
The dialog is outstanding!
Hooray so glad to have worked on this and get showcased in a video! Looking forward to the next challenge!
6:46 Also i adore your drawing section, super inspiring
Love your skectchbook and the peeks into it. Maybe do a sketchbook filp thru video?? Lol picked up on the Tumour Tank history repeat during the story paintings, had to go back and rewatch to make sure I was slipping into senility lol Much love and respect for art!!
As a recent tumour-haver, I'm good with the name of Tumour Tanks. I'm collecting and building Death Guard/Nurgle stuff in Warhammer, and will give all the gross little duders names inspired by that cancer experience, it seems appropriate. Like Teratomus and Scrotus.
Bro i don’t know if someone already told you this, but you’re hella creative.
I love the drawing part! Please don’t stop doing it
Love LOVE the drawing sections, I adore your loose style!
When you described the bead bot tank as having to turn around to fire, the first thing that came to mind is a casemate Tank Destroyer. For example, the German Brummbar, or the French CA Lorraine. Or even more famously, the German Sturmgeschütz III, or 'Stug III'.
your sketch book is one of the most impressive things ever in my opinion
As always, awesome builds and amazing art on your sketchbook. Love the british dark humour. Keep on making amazing stuff, cheers from Portugal.
Can we give cat tracks and a gun and send him to fight tonks

20:58 that was the first one. In the second one she just get dragged through the forest and slammed into a tree, causing her to, pretty much, just crumble on impact.
I love the drawing section, and would love to see more, or even a sketchbook tour!
I love the drawing bits so much they bring me so much joy
I love the drawing sections.
I just found Dan's channel also. You guys are both really creative and make some great videos.
I do like the Tonks and the Robocop impressions! The water paint in your book never ceases to amazes me too!
Bill Making Tonks is my favourite channel.
These videos have been bloody brilliant. Funny, well edited, inspiring. Top stuff. 😊
Great build, fun to see the full set together! I definitely enjoy setting your sketching process at the beginning of each build.
Excited for more terrain!
I would love a dedicated Tonks channel. Builds and battle reports every week!
we ENJOY the drawing section !
I love those tonks. Truly the best minis I’ve ever seen
Looks amazing Bill! Your creativity is really inspiring!
Nice! Love them! So many good ideas! Thanks bill, you have filled my head with ideas to put in my own life. Cheers!
I love the flip through your sketch book.
I just paused after the sketchbook section to assure you that I enjoy your entire formula, every part. I am always stoked when you post a new piece. And now, back to tonks!
That sketch book just keeps getting stored higher and higher on the shelf
Love your videos, and love the sketchbook bits that show your thought process! Keep up the great work.
Does Cat get his own tonk?
No.
These look so amazing!!!
Amazing and very enjoyable video.easy and calm and comfortable atmosphere, just discovered your first tonk session
I'd like to think Bills sketch book will be used as a manifesto to try & understand one man's descent into madness. A warning to future generations. 🤔
I mean, he talks to a cat made of forks and cardboard...
I really enjoy your drawing segments. Seeing your sketchbook fill up with each project is very satisfying, and I love seeing your sketching / idea making process. I'd honestly be very interested in some form of physical printed version of your sketchbooks. Thanks for sharing your art ✌️
Bill! We need more tonks, not less. Keep making them
Thank you. I enjoy your videos and your sense of tumour.
