    Do pads like these make better options than pure glass?

    • @8020Alive
      @8020Alive Рік тому +5

      Yes 100%.
      For me. No disrespect to glass / aluminum lovers. But if you use those surfaces daily - you will grind you mouse feet / dumping them to perhaps 3 months of use. Even at $10 a set for mouse feet - thats $40 a year and $120 after 3 years. Those $99 glass pads are actually $220 after 3 years. That being said - as you correctly mentioned in the video - glass will last a lifetime vs pads. Something to be said for that.
      So soft pads feel better and are more comfortable - and at $40 each even if they last 1 or 2 year s- its still nearly half the cost of glass.
      The counter argument is a soft pad going "muddy" and needing cleaning. True but regular maintenance helps and there are surfaces like CORDURA that will last a lifetime.

      FYI Vancer has 2 versions of the ICE. The V2 makes adjustments to tracking abilities (some people had sensor mice with issues on V1)....so to everyone - avoid V1

    We had the chance to produce this style pad, but ultimately decided not to produce it due to the pad picking up oils very easily and the no texture on the surface which not everyone enjoys. Always cool to see unique offerings from other companies. Good insights, great review! 💛

    I’ve been using this pad for a few days and I love it, I use it for Valorant (immortal 3) and tried doing my daily kovaaks playlists and straight away I beat all my scores and I was surprised because I thought my flicking would be worse or at least hard to adjust, naturally tracking was very easy only pasu tasks like bounce 180 didn’t improve.
    My pinky has contact with the pad because of the way I grip my mouse so it gives me a ton of control and stopping power when I need it so I’m not sure how it would be for more traditional grip styles. I did notice I need to use an arm sleeve with a thumb hole because the wrist drag bothers me especially for tracking.
    In game I enjoyed the pad very much and found a good improvement on my micro corrections and generally very fun to use and less tiring over long periods with my low sens (0.1 1600/81.6cms for 360°).

    Does it have strong chemical or rubber smell? I have MCS (multiple chemical sensitive). I have no problems with artisan pads those doesnt smell at all but original non pro LGG saturn i had to sell it smell so strong and didnt go away after 2 weeks. I currently main skypad and this jett mouse pad in XD size would be nice for aim train trackking scenarios.

    Hallo, if u would put mouse on that wooden table would it be faster or slower ? I have 3d print 20 g mouse and my wooden table is still controllable. I guess weight of mouse reaches the point where only in air would make it hard to control. so I was think about Pulsar Skypad or Fnatic Jet but not sure if I even want that. I was trying tablet and if tablets would be more precise I would probably use them but Wacom Intuos Pro S still can not track my hand shakiness so unusable for pixel tracking. maybe something like glass/sephire skates + glass pad :D but I have heard that glass skates are not consistent and with glass i would be scrachy but I don't know.

    is this a Raiden clone in terms of speed and perfomance?
    would like to see how it compares to Raiden, as it's a high-speed non-coated surface which is not common on the market. Usually very high-speed pads have coating, like the Vancer, or are glass pads.
    Also the fact that is non-coated makes it in my eyes better VFM than the Vancer which eventually the glass infused coated surface will wear out.
    From the photos btw i notice that the stitching is indeed thicker on the Jet but looks like it's lower than the Vancer. Is this the case?

    • @UpgradeLemonade
      @UpgradeLemonade  Рік тому

      itd say its faster than a raiden. and in terms of the stitching you will notice this when your mouse glides over it, Vancers you wont
