I'm just happy the science backs up what I've observed and projected non scientifically! Love this approach Lemon 🍋 have been thinking of ways to test this objectively for a while, you nailed it.
appreciate that LOG! and ya ive toyed with the idea for a while, It may not be perfect but its a start. Between myself , you and all the other great reviewers in this hobby...this just adds a lil extra something to help gamers get a clearer picture of what to expect when they buy a product.

Epic! Love the new testing methodology as with so many pads on the market it can get a little confusing, let alone the fact how many reviewers compare new releases to other pads based on "memory" so having a spreadsheet with everything written down is very handy. I hope it becomes a "standard" practice at some point tho i highly doubt.
My only recommendation would be swapping the Puretrak Valor for something more popular like GPX/Viper if possible as more people would be familiar with the skates design/weight of these mice and get a brief idea of how a pad may perform. Not sure if it'd make much difference tho.
Glad you like it ! And yes I have a GPX on the way actually for other reasons but I may swap it into this role. That said this gives us consistent data regardless of what mouse is used. For example the Skypad should still rank the highest in speed whether I use the GPX or Valor. The real difference will just be the difference in total grams at the end but the percentages should be very close if not identical

Keep in mind that since you are pushing the force gauge along the surface of the pad, the force it will read will be affected by the friction between the mousepad and the force gauge itself. I highly recommend you use a pull method with a string instead.

hey bro i have the superglide and cerapad kin and the superglide is just a tiny bit too fast while the kin is too slow and i was thinking about getting the og cerapad/gamesense sonar or the wraith what are your thoughts or recommendations?
Superglide Polarity vs Padsmith The Empress vs Gamesense Sonar with that design, which design do you prefer ? :).
I pre ordered a Polarity because for me it's juste the best by far, Conrady really did an amazing job but that sonar is really not bad (the empress is my least fav design)
The empress for me. Love the purple and aesthetic overall. Polarity and Sonar are dope though

How does the sonar compare to the cerapad kin in terms of control?
i think overall the Kin is a bit slower
