Dude what a view at 9:57! As someone who has only played golf in the flat coastal plains of Texas and the south, it's awesome to see parkland courses nestled in the mountains like this
Your videos are inspiring. Your story of your health was a rollercoaster of emotion, and I just watched your Pebble Beach video and the picture you took with your wife at the end just had me ear to ear grinning. I hope you have a great and long life man, and have the most success possible making videos of what you love to do. You might just be an amateur golfer, but you're a hero and inspiration to us!
You deserve all your success Adam! It has been a thrill to watch you grow while staying so transparent with your golf game and inspiring personal story. I find myself repeating your catch phrases on the course, and you’ve helped my own game grow tremendously. You’ve got a huge fan in me…trying to keep up with your handicap has also been a fun challenge. Congratulations again!
Love your videos man! No pretense, no ego -- just a straightforward presentation of the game from your perspective. I really appreciate the way you approach these course vlogs, keep em coming!
Honestly your the only golf channel I can watch other than good good because your not stubborn and you actually admit and tel the truth. So entertaining to watch someone play golf and not edit shots or rounds. Love the videos mate
I’ve been playing golf since a little over a year now. I was a 14-17 handicap for a while, but I started watching your videos a couple of months ago and my handicap lowered by listening to ur advice, I broke 80 for the first time by not playing golf swing by playing golf. (and somehow my swing is better by playing like that)
The main thing that’s made me more consistent is to stay in the moment. Don’t think about bad holes, or bad shots. And…. Don’t think ahead of yourself, and try to do too much to make up for those bad holes, or bad shots. The most important shot in golf is the one that you’re about to hit. Even if it’s a putt.
Beginner golfer here - first, thank you for your videos and commentary. Second, i would love to see some graphics recapping your lessons learned or challenges faced or whatnot for each video! I love the way you think about the game! Lastly, hope you are doing well and have a great day!
Good advice! Went to play on what would have been my Dad's 75th birthday. Front 9 I shot a 47 with some wayward shots. On the back I let it go and really concentrated on the Laying 0 philosophy. Shot my best 9 of 40 and broke 90 for the first time ever.
Got to do a weekend get away with my dad to Bear Mountain last year. Played 3 rounds (one Mountain, two Valley). Never kept track of the mountain course score since it was around 20+kmh wind with gust up 50kmh, but I will absolutely never forget getting to play such a gorgeous course with my dad just having fun trying to hit a ball. Love the videos and watching you play all my local courses better than I can!
Speaking of the guy that designed this course (Nicklaus): I notice on your driver swing you're only raising your hands on your backswing, to about ear level. If you raised them higher than your head like Nicklaus, you'd get a LOT more power. You may already realize this but just in case...
Awesome video (and hat!). Love the focus on the mental game-I can’t get out to the range often enough to make real swing changes now so that’s what I need to work on. I played a local par 3 course yesterday and was 1 over through 8, then proceeded to score a 9 on the last one. Just couldn’t face the pressure of potentially getting my best score. But this is where golf is arguably the most enjoyable challenge. And it’s what makes golf applicable in many other places in life too. I will become stronger mentally!
Congrats on 100 videos! We live in the same area so it’s awesome to watch all the courses I also play from a different perspective. Great insight on course management and the mental aspect as well. Keep up the good work!
Adam, please NEVER EVER remove that quack soundbite. Gets me every time. Another great video - always enjoy the content. Can't believe how quickly your channel has grown! You deserve it!
I've gotta take a page out of this book, Adam. Scores have been super volatile this year, and last week I shot triple digits for the first time in maybe 20+ years. I have not taken another swing since, and am headed out for mental tune-up with Talking Rock's head pro next week. Way to battle through!
This is exactly what I need to learn how to do. I’ve been in a pattern of good golf on the front then letting it all get away on the back. Been about two months now.
Love the content. I am playing a target golf course today. Thanks for the reminder to play smart. Edit: I ended up shooting an 84 and my new personal best on a course with a 135 slope rating. Putter was cold, so I know a round in the 70's can be had. I tell a lot of people about your channel since it's really helped me with my game and managing expectations. CHEERS!
What a beautiful course. Reminds me of Tahoe, only a little greener. Love the mentality and talk with your friend. Great perspective we all need to try and work on when playing. Great video!
I had a disaster double bogey on my last round, where my drive was literally behind a tree (no shot), and I spent the whole par 5 trying to avoid a double. Your experience on #3 reminded me of that. Like Matt says -- everyone hears the tuba. Beautiful course though.
I've played both courses at Bear Mtn. If any of you are looking for a golf vacation, Bear Mtn on Vancouver Island is AMAAAZING. You won't care about your scoring, that's how awesome this resort is.
Hell yeah Adam. Your channel has given me a better feel for my own game. We play very different games, but your short game prowess has impressed me. Keep gaming, and I'll be following you along :)
hey Adam, Great video I been 3 x putting 9 or 10 greens lately..hang in there be Positive as you an Matt keep telling us. it WILL comeback. cheers from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Love these videos. You helped me from my rut and I’ve started shooting sub 80 with a 79 on my tournament yesterday. If you ever come to Edmonton make an announcement as I’d love to show you some amazing courses
Man. I play off 18. On the first tee of my local 6,700 yrd course I hit a bad drive that left me 185 yrds to the hole. I had no stance and yet I tried to hit a miracle shot. It cost me a triple bogey. From then on I thought of your wise words, ‘play without an ego’ I hit 10 GIRs and scored my best round. Watching you and your journey is inspirational and if you’re ever in the U.K. I’d love to invite you to play a round!
I find my swing in the range and try to get that feeling on the course and whatever I struggle with I apply at the range and once I feel I’m getting better I can’t wait to take it back to the course. It’s a never ending cycle lol
Great vlog 👌 from a mental coaching perspective I can tell that some people need small targets and others are much more relaxed if they play for the a giant target since its much easier to hit 🤷♂️ no general rule applies for target picking 😉
Hope you have a Bear Mountain Valley Course video up next. I think it's the nicer course of the two, imo. Slightly less dramatic views, sure, but cheaper, less busy and a better layout... also, imo. ;-)
Adam, I'd recommend the "Inner Game of Golf" by Timothy Gallwey if you haven't read it already as it provides some really interesting insights into the mental aspects of golf
Personally, I like your videos cause they are simple, I get to watch real golf, and I see every shot. No fancy edits that make you wonder if they are even playing there real shot. Keep it up! Also what camera are you using :)
Really been enjoying watching your videos. 10 or so minutes for a full round of shots analysis, feel like I’m learning a good bit. Can you do a video on how you film your rounds and any issues you’ve run into with doing that? Also what software you use for shot tracing? Thanks!
That’s a great course! I’ve played many times, getting my buddies island discount, and enjoy it every time. Do you plan on playing any Whistler courses?
I can’t say I understand focusing on what you are good on. Maybe mentally if you’re having a bad round, but at some point you need to have the self awareness to identify your weak points and make them stronger. You don’t have to do this if you’re just playing golf to have fun and enjoy it, but if you want to actually improve then the lowest hanging fruit will be your weakest area
Love the channel. Congrats on the growth. I not "we". Me not "us". About 75% of time commentary is plural. I try to ignore, but it's tough. You are "not A scratch golfer".... who is we? I don't hit any shots with you. Only if scramble with Sidekick does 'we' apply. :-) Wanna play in the Midwest?
Hey Adam, I'm from Seattle and will be visiting Vancouver soon for the first time since I've started golfing. Which public course should I check out in the area if I only have one day available for golfing?
Have subscribed to your channel for a while, great content really love the filming and editing… My youngest son is in Victoria going to school for the next three years and my oldest son is in Seattle I am in Portland Oregon I would love to play with you sometime so send me a response if you’re around those cities and maybe we can play together which would be awesome thanks again great channel
Yeah definitely the brain..I'll play the first 3 holes at even par and then forget how to swing a club for a hole and then start playing normal again....

This video is a masterpiece. The views are amazing and the vibe you have is very soothing. Great job, keep up the good work!
Your attitude is phenomenal. I while back you made the comment "play golf not swing" and "be tidy from 100 yards in". Great advice.
You deserve all your success Adam! It has been a thrill to watch you grow while staying so transparent with your golf game and inspiring personal story. I find myself repeating your catch phrases on the course, and you’ve helped my own game grow tremendously. Adam! it was such a pleasure playing with you and seeing your mental toughness in real life! Waddaround and waddaview!
Love this channel

Amazing!!!
This course is absolutely beautiful! Seems like you live in an awesome area for golf.
That course is a beast the first time. Takes some knowledge to get around there near your cap.
Got to do a weekend get away with my dad to Bear Mountain last year. Played 3 rounds (one Mountain, two Valley). Fantastic video Adam! Love watching along. I care more about your game than mine at this point haha
The mental part really is key. I get down on myself too much. Have to be your own best friend on the course and not get in your own way
Speaking of the guy that designed this course (Nicklaus): I notice on your driver swing you're only raising your hands on your backswing, to about ear level. If you raised them higher than your head like Nicklaus, you'd get a LOT more power. You may already realize this but just in case...
Absolutely a beautiful course. I loved that you kept grinding and turned it around with the better positive attitude on the back 9.
Fun to see you play one of my local courses, hope you have time to come back again and show off some more of them.
Awesome video (and hat!). Love the focus on the mental game-I can’t get out to the range often enough to make real swing changes now so that’s what I need to work on. Also congratulations on 100 videos!
Hey man, love your videos. Good to see a course on Vancouver Island. You should try Campbell River GC!
Congrats on 100 videos! We live in the same area so it’s awesome to watch all the courses I also play from a different perspective. Great insight on course management and the mental aspect as well. Keep up the good work!
Adam, please NEVER EVER remove that quack soundbite. Gets me every time.

Absolutely stunning course! I enjoy your vids more when the course is super nice :)
Helluva video postcard Adam...congrats on your first 100 vids!
Most people struggle with just hitting the ball
I've gotta take a page out of this book, Adam. Scores have been super volatile this year, and last week I shot triple digits for the first time in maybe 20+ years. Great internal dialogue…thank you
That's a beautiful course. Congrats on 100 videos, man! Keep them coming
Keep the great vids and positive golf vibes coming
Bear Mountain is one of my favorite spots to golf. Both Mountain and Valley are incredible courses
Dude your golf game has gotten insane👍🏻👍🏻
Great video as always Adam. When I head out west to visit fam, Bear Mountain always a must. Stretch from 13-16 is unbelievable. I hope you enjoyed it!
What a gorgeous track. I could definitely relate to stuff going off the rails and having to adjust to save a round. Good stuff, keepem comin. 👍 ⛳️
What a beautiful course. Reminds me of Tahoe, only a little greener. Love the mentality and talk with your friend. Great perspective we all need to try and work on when playing. Great video!

Great video. Man that course looked beautiful!
I played here a few years back... but it was the other course there. SO awesome!
I don't know why I find this type of golf content more compelling than professional highlights, but it is.
Love these videos. You helped me from my rut and I’ve started shooting sub 80 with a 79 on my tournament yesterday.

Congrats on your 100th video seems like ive been watching forever and its a lot more then that but glad to see how much ur channel has grown!
Love your content Adam, can’t get enough of it!
Good God. Amazing course! Love your vids. Keep up the good work you lucky dawg!!
Hey Adam, once again that transition from one green to two tee is so good. Hope that keeps being a thing.
These videos are like a tv show. Good pacing.
I find my swing in the range and try to get that feeling on the course and whatever I struggle with I apply at the range and once I feel I’m getting better I can’t wait to take it back to the course. It’s a never ending cycle lol
I'm usually just so happy to be out there I stay pretty positive. Only get to play a few times a year, but aiming for once a month through next May.
Great vlog 👌 from a mental coaching perspective I can tell that some people need small targets and others are much more relaxed if they play for the a giant target since its much easier to hit 🤷♂️ no general rule applies for target picking 😉

It’s not just you. We’re coming off a full moon, I played the same way yesterday. Anyway that’s what I’m going with. Hope I helped. Bill
Personally, I like your videos cause they are simple, I get to watch real golf, and I see every shot. No fancy edits that make you wonder if they are even playing there real shot. Keep it up! Also what camera are you using :)

Do you have a video of what is in your bag this season? If not I am curious!
That’s a great course! I’ve played many times, getting my buddies island discount, and enjoy it every time.
Do you plan on playing any Whistler courses?
If you ever in the Mid-Atlantic region, let me know. ..would love to play a round (or two) together.
I can’t say I understand focusing on what you are good on. You don’t have to do this if you’re just playing golf to have fun and enjoy it, but if you want to actually improve then the lowest hanging fruit will be your weakest area
You might see mac Boucher playing out there man! That’s like his home course
Now that’s a golf ball.
Love the channel. Congrats on the growth.

Is Draftkings basically the Raid Shadow Legends of pro sports?
Yeah definitely the brain..I'll play the first 3 holes at even par and then forget how to swing a club for a hole and then start playing normal again....
This round is my average golf play results. I was like watching myself play 😂
way to go

Your problem was you were wearing pants and your shirt was tucked in.

I really enjoy your videos and congrats on your milestone.
