- Per PsychiatricExplorations: "The Flaming Lips Have Landed debuted at the South By Southwest conference between March 10-March 18, 2000. The short film was directed by Bradley Beesley with collaboration from Andrew Mayer and George Salisbury. It was later expanded into the feature-length documentary, The Fearless Freaks."
In order for this video to stay on UA-cam, I had to censor footage from the "When You Smile," "Race For The Prize," "Christmas At The Zoo" and "Waitin' For A Superman" music videos. I've replaced the clips with still images, hopefully this isn't too distracting.

@@danikojapan2018 HANDs DOWN. I actually met Steven in 2010❤❤❤❤THE NICEST GUY..talk with multiple people, we talk then he would. It felt so natural with him.
I am a multi instrumentalist, so I felt that connection with him as well as I was a heroin addict, and was two months clean when I met him. My friends ditched due to the addiction..so my brother went with me..and if he didn't I NEVER would of talked to him.
@4:51 playing a Nirvana song. Sweet.
Yep! Sounds like "School". Love that track!!😃
They really were great in the soft/YOSHIMI days.
I prefer the Satellite heart/Clouds era. Ronald Jones is a treasure.
What's the credits song?
Opening credits track is 'Thirty-Five Thousand Feet of Despair' from Zaireeka. It can also be found on Soft Bulletin Companion.
1000 ft Hands is the end credits song
Michelle was Wayne's biggest fan... wonder what happened? More money more problems type situation?
From what I've been told by someone deep in the Lips organization, Wayne obviously started hanging out with Miley and met Katie and cheated on Michelle. But I'm not sure
If you were there.. you wouldve did it too dont lie lol@@LSUOdyssey
OK...I call BS on Michelle Martin playing as the "Dumb Okie". I have had interactions with this human....they are playing a role.
Having a camera in your face....and talking with no script is weird..
Feels like she ..is a bit nervous. Kinda weird comment...
@@holloify_tensa_zangetsu I am a 17-year vet of non-scripted television and used to (sorta) know Michelle Martin...she is VERY smart...like crazy smart. I just feel for her..like it was implied that she play a character. Maybe I'm wrong. I dunno...not trying to speak ill of her..quite the opposite. I thought she was a very intimidating human.
@@holloify_tensa_zangetsu Is this Holly Martin?
