How many times have the Flaming Lips played The Hang Out Festival ( third as of this show)? Just saw them last night in B'ham, AL at Avondale Brewery. A fantastic 2-hour plus show that proves they haven't lost anything in over twenty plus years. My third time seeing the band and every time I am so much happier the next day for some reason. These guys spread the joy better than any band there has ever been. BTW, last night the sound was about the best I ever experienced in over fifty years of going to live concerts.

Cant wait to get home from work, get really stoned and fire up the headphones. Thanks alot satelitehead❤

Yeah this one is stupendous for sure!! This was always one of my favorites to listen to loudly because of how it was recorded it’s like if you close your eyes, you’re at the show … this one more than any, I think, had that psycho acoustic thing that makes it sound like you’re actually standing in the audience- 🫵🏻❤️
