Hey guys!! You can see the English translation for what my husband says by choosing the English (United States) captions option. And also, some helpful info. A Yuesao is someone who is like a nanny and helps you the first month after you give birth. They will either stay with you or you stay at a center where they are and they help you 24/7. It’s very common as women in China “sit the month” or “zuo yuezi”. I’ll have to make another video about this explaining it more~
I came across your video for the first time and have proceeded to watch most of them. Good work there. Please keep the videos coming! I'm Malaysian Chinese and have never been to China (except HK more than 10 yrs ago) and I couldn't speak Chinese well. So your videos are really eye opening for me in terms of my grandparents' motherland.
It makes me so happy that I can share China with you in this way~ thanks for your support! There will be more videos coming soon~ I try to post every week!
Thank you both for sharing your experience with us. Have fun with the baby. Best thing ever. Btw, he shared the same birthday as my daughter 😂👍👍💪💪💪👋👋👋💪💪💪💞💞💞
Living in China is really happy, here the people are equal, racial equality, there is no all kinds of discrimination, and technology is advanced, medical level is high!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Congratulations! Can you share your experience on the pregnancy follow up in Beijing? Any recommendations on the hospitals or particular doctor? Thanks!
Thanks so much!! as for pregnancy follow-up, I recommend Uli who is a pelvic floor specialist at Raffles Medical Center in Chaoyang District. As for seeing an OBGYN, many people speak very highly of Dr. Saphariny at Beijing United Family Hospital in Chaoyang district. Also, Oasis Hospital has an OBGYN Dr. Vanessa Rosado who is there a couple of days a week
Beautiful video. It's great to see this bundle of joy brought into the world. I think you all will make great parents. I haven't found a follow up on your channel yet that covers this but what sort of medical expenses do you face in China for child birth? The cost of bearing children is something of a taboo for my family. Apologies if this topic is sensitive.
A good and healthy looking baby; congrats mom, congrats parents. Could you give us a ballpark estimate of how much it costs to birth a baby in a private hospital in Beijing?
All of the checks from week 12-40 (there are 13 checks in total) is about 20,000 RMB which equals about $2,857. To give birth, it costs about 49,000 RMB which equals about $7,000 and includes a stay of 4 days and 3 nights. So all together I paid about $9,857. I could have saved a lot of money by going to a public hospital so there’s always ways to cut costs
Thing I noticed is the behaviour of CMAF couples feels a lot more like a normal couple, compared to AMCF couples It's generalization of course, and not all couples are the same But with some AMCF couples, the vibe is sometimes a bit strange
