Very informative video… had a very good learning… especially the low tyre pressure causing tyre bursts…. Generally do we change front and rear tyres at the same time ?, relatively tyres are multiple puncture free…. Do we find Tyre wear mark even on rear street tyres also ?… where do we find them ?… what would generally be the life in kilometres run, of tyres ?
Thanks. Change tyres when worn. You can change separately and didn't have to be a set change. The TWI mark is on all tyres. Tyre wear is highly dependent on use. Anything to anything possible.
In world filled with tons of knowledge, i got a cup of it from here. Thanks. The part covered about tubeless repairing kits of various types, if a solo episode made for this. Regards.

@bigbearbangalore what do you think about the off market process of changing tire from tubeto tubeless. Say for the new Himalayan. Maybe you guys can make a detailed video about it.
I hated the gripp XL on my Himalayan, especially in ghats and wet conditions. Swapped them out to eurogrip pancers and they are admirable on road, easily dips into corners. Considering mogrip meteors or apollo actigrip
If you think about it, the 80/20 60/40 style of showing tyre purpose makes sense.. Think about it like this.. Let's take an example of 80/20 tyre.. The way I see it, I can understand that 80% of tarmac users would be satisfied with it. Only the top 20% tarmac users would not be happy with it. Hi Sir, I have been riding a KTM 390 Adventure for last one year and have completed 15k kms. I am planning to go for a road trip to Spiti Valley from Mumbai in July. Currently, The Metzeler Tourance has enough tread for another 4-5k kms but I am thinking of changing my tyres before the trip. Do you think the Reise Moto TourR is a good replacement for Metezeler Tourance considering the former costs around 4k and Metzeler are 15k for one tyre
The Metz is imported and hence is superior because it's in a different category to the Reise. And the Reise is quite good and is made in India and is value for money. It's your call.
Hi Bosky and CK. May I know why is it not ideal to convert a 'tubeless tire with a tube in spoke wheels' (Eg Himalayan 450) to 'tubeless' in the after market? I saw a video where a person poured some solution in the rim and within four days the tyre become tubeless. It seemed like a good idea to me. Also budget friendly. Can you please share your thoughts on this?
Can you give an idea of the number of kms a Tyre will / should last. My bike is currently sitting idle, so don’t know when to change the tyres - in this case how to determine when to change tyres
I have a yezdi adventure spoke wheels were a compromise for my choice of motorcycle but now I am planning for a solution to get it tubeless by using sealing tape or solution. Do you think they are worth and do you have any suggestions which one to buy?
The rim has to be tubeless compatible for any sealing or tape to work. Check on this. If they are, some conversion options exist on the market. Am not familiar with them though.
I would like to know about bi directional tyres used in scooters. I have got a Ray zr 125 and it runs a 90/90/12 tyre in the front and I got Michellen city tyre which can be put both ways but in front one way and in the rear other way rotating ( tvs Jupiter uses the same size for front and rear) the tyre shop installed it in the rear orientation in the front and i didn't noticed it for a couple of days. (Found it while washing) And went that day itself and made them put it back in the correct orientation even though they said nothing is going to matter. Is it because of rolling resistance or grip factor it's like that. When I'm in the city (less than 10 kms) I run 5 psi more on both ends and if I'm doing more than 100kms a day (hometown and back) I put stock pressure in the front and 2 up in the rear. In the rear I run mrf zapper (can't find Michellens for the rear 110/90/10)
On my bikes rare tyre of avenger from centre line towards one side its nice and curvy....and from centre line towards other side it has flat wearout.....i went to shop for checking balancing..... they told it is because in our country we have lot of left turns... nothing to worry...... some how i am not able to feel ok about....... your suggestion plz
Namaskara Sir, Iam facing slow air leakage in my tyre. Usual soap water spray test reveals no puncture but on an average i have drop of 1-2 psi/day. I need to top up twice a week Any suggestions? Puncture fluid any good?
Helooo, the Middle tyre name plz.. for my Himalayan 411, I20-90-17 Rear and 90-90-21 Front wheel Any good Brand is OK. Need Tubeless only. kindly suggest
boskyy sir- 150/80 B16 tyre requirement is there for me. i am not able to tick any option apart from ceat. are u aware of any manufacturer making the above mentioned spec?
Hey bosky the scrambler 400x has rear tire 140/80 section. This is odd size and Need alternatives to MRF. Kindly suggest. I saw the price of Pirelli scorpion rally to be 20k. Thats very expensive. Anything in sub 8k range
@@bigbearbangalore 130/80? what would you recommend between this or 150/60 or 160/70...Many youtubers say width should be kept same or 1 size up, many others also say the inner area should be kept same...Kindly shed light which change could be better....As there's no 140/80 in my opinion
Going up will make the motorcycle sluggish to change of direction. One size smaller is OK and makes the motorcycle nimble. Big fat tyres are more for looks.
I’ve seen a bunch of recommendations asking to switch to less buttony tyres. I ride my bike in the same manner as you do. Lots of road travel. I don’t like making myself miserable with adventure stuff. With this as context is a switch to the middle tyre warranted? Of course I plan to not replace the current tyres until they wear out
@@bigbearbangalore Oh neat... And how would you rate them for their Indian metric of grip to life ratio? Most Indian manufacturers are focusing more on the tyre life and ends up having less grip is what I've felt like...
Yes the focus here is on life. And these have moved that balance towards grip. Although not as much as the fully imported brands. But better than most Indian brands in terms of grip.
Hello Sir, I would like to give a major news update on the Svartpilen 401. Well it seems that we aren't getting any Pirelli tyres with the bike now due to certification issues. And we all very well know who issues the certification here in India. What they have done is that, they swapped the Pirelli tyres with Apollo Trampler XR tyres straight away. The website still says Pirelli tyres. Just received pics from a contact of mine. Please have a look at the Apollo Trampler XR tyres on Team Bhp page for Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. Everyone has booked the bike for Pirelli tyres. Atleast the manufacturer should have revised the price for the bike since a pair of Pirelli Scorpion tyres cost approx 25-27k per set. Really disappointed to see such attitude towards Indian market since the New Tvs Apache RTR 310 and the new KTM Duke 390 both have imported Michelin Road 6 and Metzeler M7 tyres.
Good one 👍 Sir just curious I ride Interceptor 650cc on Highway 90% where even Highway are and rider face off road conditions for miles even today right. Can our Indian manufacturer manufacture Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres? I have one set on my Interceptor 650cc. Other option is CEAT which cost near 8k. Does it justify to ban? and ride on bull shit tyres and risk life? I trust Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR has they saved my life in many tricky situations (Remember I am experienced Rider and have been riding from my school days). I am expecting our manufacturer to deliver and manufacture such tyres or lift the bann.

Sir what about the reise tyres..is it good when compared with the other...is it available in tamilnadu
I've used them for some years now and am quite happy. Check on availability with @reisemoto
Helooo, the Middle tyre name plz.. for my Himalayan 411, I20-90-17 Rear and 90-90-21 Front wheel Any good Brand is OK. Need Tubeless only. kindly suggest
TourR
Hi sir I have Small doubt i have xpulse 200 4v I can use front reise tour R & Rear reise Trail R I can use like that ??
Yes you can but preferably stick to similar patterns to retain grip balance.
@@bigbearbangaloreyes sir I saw some video in youtube he is from reise motto Promoting he did with KTM 390
And please can you do some video of reise tyre we can try like that or not 👍🥰 Sunday evening update 👍
How does elevation affect the tyre pressure ?
It does increase the pressure hardness due to lower outside atmospheric pressure.
boskyy sir- 150/80 B16 tyre requirement is there for me. i am not able to tick any option apart from ceat. are u aware of any manufacturer making the above mentioned spec?
Unable to recall any.
@@bigbearbangalore okies
Hey bosky the scrambler 400x has rear tire 140/80 section. This is odd size and Need alternatives to MRF. Kindly suggest. I saw the price of Pirelli scorpion rally to be 20k. Thats very expensive. Anything in sub 8k range
I am using a 130 section Reise TourR. And I am super happy with it.
@@bigbearbangalore after how many kms roughly should i change stock rear tire? and can you send link for yours?
Change when worn. That's the measure. No set kms.
Which is the tyre on the vstrom 250 sx by default. Is it the third type of tyre?
Looks like it's in between the middle and right tyre.
I’ve seen a bunch of recommendations asking to switch to less buttony tyres. I ride my bike in the same manner as you do. Lots of road travel. I don’t like making myself miserable with adventure stuff. With this as context is a switch to the middle tyre warranted? Of course I plan to not replace the current tyres until they wear out
How is reise as a brand? Hadn't heard of them till recently but suddenly they have started popping up in a lot of stores.
They make tyres in collaboration with Mitas, a well known and reputed European brand known for it's dual purpose and off-road tyres.
@@bigbearbangalore Okay, will definitely give them a try next 🤞🏻
That's news to me. OK, noted.
I understand your view.
And the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. 🙏
When tyre suggest 35 psi does it mean 35psi with riders weight or 35psi without rider weight
Doesn't matter

24:36 It’s not 300, it’s 3.00, means 3 inch.
Yes it is inches agree and it's commonly referred to as 300 or 250 or 275 etc. Thanks.
@@bigbearbangalore Not 'inches', it’s 'inch'. As far as of my knowledge inch is a mathematical unit and unit shouldn’t have any singular or plural number. My math teacher taught me that.
Thanks for the English correction. My match teacher also much have taught me and I didn't pay attention. And perhaps my English teacher too and I didn't pay attention.

Reise only promotes it tyre on social media, thru influencers got motivated ordered n waited for more than one month , Reise couldn't make it available in place like Delhi
It's only only social media
The specifications speed n weight numbers of Reise tyre were less than stock tyre
