@@sageofsixpaths98I don't think the basics of ev like cell or battery is hard to dumb down...the business side of things could be but basics are literally taught in colleges to students, not hard at all
@@sageofsixpaths98have you seen elon? He can dumb it down to teach a child. Clearly, the panel here is just business and management people, not much on tech/handson side
Nikhil is doing everything to get all the secrets out from top executives to teach everyone which is so difficult and everyone is so humble to share all that with such humility.
Nikhil should be awarded a padmashree for running such invigorating industry focused discussion with the experts in the industry, the selection of guests is impeccable, the focus on the subject, the intent and the absolute gems on the show makes this prodcast unique, infact the best prodcast on business
Moderating such an in-depth conversation among the subject matter experts takes a different level of skill and curiosity. Especially for someone who's outside the domain. This is totally remarkable, Nikhil 👏👏
I don't think lot of people got what Suruchi said but whatever she is doing I think she understands her work/business very well and also she is targeting the right thing. I really wish her success.
She is not doing anything complex. She makes hydrogen and supplied to oil industry. Her entire business is from oil business Ambani refinery, Indianoil, BP, ONGC etc. Hydrogen has no chance against EV. But in the hydrogen supply chain petrol pumps, refinery like Ambani and govt's also get to have a share and make money. In EV, Ambani and govt. refinery oil industry have no money to make. It is as simple as that. The Ather guy debunked her by saying the hydrogen has no efficient mobility usecase and everyone knows that, but the govt is still pushing for hydrogen because the govt's "consultants" are interested in the hydrogen. Why? because with hydrogen cars/ bikes there is money for refineries oil businesses to still make money in future. The consultants are lobbies representing Ambani, IndianOil, BP, HPCL, petrol pumps mafia etc. and they want to push for hydrogen as alternative to EV/ future fuel.
Plus she couldn't even introduce herself in a manner that would be suitable for the audience, and just started throwing her life story, buzz words, anecdotes etc. and rambled on for minutes but still as a layman i could not make heads or tail of what she actually does and was really annoyed by that. (ps:- Did a google dive on her, not worth it so to speak)@@indraneelb.7972
@@indraneelb.7972Her business is the R&D concerning electricity producing microorganisms. Her field is fascinating and large scale deployment of the same will be incredible. At the moment using the same for conversion to hydrogen through an electrolyzer is legitimate market strategy. Solar was panned early on as too expensive and impractical. Today is has the praise of advocates like you.

Your podcasts are very insightful. I listen to them during my commute and it's become a ritual now. I'm looking forward to the next interesting topic. One topic suggestion: "semiconductor/Quantum technology and new tech". This is a topic suggestion because many Indian firms are working on it in Bengaluru.
Well it's basic rule of corporate meeting that you don't put two directly competing people/firms which are equivalent to ticking time bomb ready to blast in just condition one difference of opinion , you would observe in all his podcasts that there are no directly competing parties there 😂
2:23 thanks Tarun for saving the poor guy from intruding personal questions. You are an empathetic person. We Indians really have to stop our habit of probing people who are introvert or modest or being humble. I used to be like that bluesmart guy, getting more and more awkward with such BS questions...nowadays I just destroy these people by asking ultraprobing extremely personal questions back....such as are you regretting having children or how is your libido after decades of married life etc. etc. The Paradox is, once you achieve the ability to fireback, people realize it and you don't get asked such questions anymore, however much you want that to happen.
It was really good to see that all these founders are unveiling their business models, secrets, cost structures etc on open platforms, which may increase competition for them. Nikhil is also doing a good job here to not allowing them to evade any question.
His show feels like those easy-to-follow "books for dummies" that everyone loved. Each episode is a cool way to learn stuff. Excited for the next one! Thanks for the awesome content!
Show the entire 6 hour conversation without cuts. People who listen to your podcast are here to learn, they will happily endure the long conversations. Cutting some part that could give a spark to someone might be detrimental to your initial idea of helping budding entrepreneurs. Also, if lex freidman can have 6-7 hour long podcasts, nikhil can definitely have them. Great work though! Please keep this up 👍
I am really addicted to your Podcast. It's really appreciatable how such a successful person like you is making time to deliver and teach commoners like us on such beautiful topics and businesses.
Nikhil bhai, dhanyawaad. Waise toh EV main koi business karne ki capacity ayi nahin hai. But podcast ke baad capability taiyaar kar sakte hain. Apne 6 Hr diya woh bhi free main knowledge UA-cam main dala. 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
Nikhil Kamath's podcast about electric vehicles in India is truly enlightening. The discussion delves into crucial aspects of EVs, offering valuable insights. Kamath's hosting adds an engaging touch, making the complex topic accessible. A must-listen for anyone interested in the future of transportation in India.
@@prasthambhmedia8033You probably won't be needing Such charging times with innovation in the battery segment. We currently use lithium ion/polymer battery which in long term would switch to graphene making vehicles capable of 5-20 x the range of today's and also probably increase life cycles and reduce charging times. So it is still an area of innovation
Imagine a commerce student having a pretty mediocre career consuming this episode and that too at once. Kudos to you guys. And specially Nikhil for ensuring it to keep as simple as possible.
One of the best podcast I have ever watched. I completed it while I was travelling to and from office and eagerly waiting for office hours to complete just for this podcast
Suruchi and Chetan really stood out in this conversation. Their depth of information, the way they explained complex concepts, the way they broke down stats, everything just excellent!
As a 20 year old who knows absolutely nothing about EV, it got too technical to be able to grasp and hence lost interest after an hour. The way kiran mazumdar explained biotech with such patience and in so much details got me hooked for entire 3 hrs. Hope to listen to more guests like that . ❤
First time i actually listened an entire podcast this long. Needs to be encouraged. I'm even throwing a like and a comment so that the algorithm knows that this kind of content is appreciated. Great work.
Thank you all for such an in-depth conversation. -Ambient air quality fund for Delhi and still the air is not so ambient to breathe…. - I personally feel manual swapping in 2 wheelers is a good option.
Excellent insight from Tarun and Chetan on pros and cons of battery swapping. Although it looks like the more pros for swapping, it is hard to sell it to end consumer. Consumers don't think logically 😂
I want them to bring battery swapping options for EV cars as well. Let Tata Nexon give us a car with 20kwh builtin permanent battery and other 20kwh in at least 4 modules. So in city, I don't need swappable battery. I need them only in highway every 150kms. The way I want it is to add modular small sized batteries which can be handled with some equipment.
Nikhil, Please allow them to complete their sentence before you ask the other question. We don't want to lose out on anything valuable they are saying. Thanks a ton, I Love your show.
1 hour into the podcast, I have a feeling that this is not the content that Nikhil is known for. I can be wrong as it progresses but this is so chaotic with nobody giving beautiful insights that has been the USP of this series.
These Podcasts are too good, even if you don’t watch and just listen. They are proving to be a good partner during to and fro between Home and Office in Mumbai Traffic
All the speakers were very protective of their business. No one provided deep insights. No healthy competition was promoted despite efforts from Nikhil
Suruchi didn't seem to fit the rest of the panel in terms of domain expertise or work done in the space so far. A quick check shows that her company has been funded (series A) by Nikhil's Investing arm. Explains why she got the additional spotlight and multiple Qs to talk about her background, education and story. Well played, Sir!
Nikhil himself told in the video that he is an investor, he never tried to hide the fact. You may feel she isn't the right fit after watching the video, but before I'm sure most of had doubt weather hydrogen vehicles are a viable solution, and they go down to it here and show that EVs are better and she explained so many nice things about clime change and carbon capture which important part of the EV story.
it's all about asking the right questions..all the questions Nikhil asked were so essentially fundamental which is a fusion of both from the investor and enthusiasts point of view..absolutely stunning
It's finally here, the most awaited episode on my list. Thank you Nikhil for educating us with business pioneers of today and their insights are just amazing and real for everyone who is getting into this field.
I am sure by the end of the podcast, he has created a competitor for all the guests 😊. Nikhil, I must say you are doing half of the work for the youths. Really appreciate your work man, love this. Please continue 🙏🙏🙏
Hey Nikhil, great podcasts from you and your team. Just a suggestion - can you bring together folks who were doing 9 to 6 rat race and left jobs and started their ventures. Can definitely give a good sense of how they managed coming out of that and making big with all the mindset change...
I was completely hooked for 3 hours 💯. This is the difference between Nikhil Kamath and Ashneer Grover 😂😂 Such a great video full of knowledge, waiting for more 💥🙌🏻
Loved the curiosity of Nikhil. Just like a curious student. This video is the best thing one can watch. Can be released in multiplexes as a documentary movie. Hats off.
I agree. Came here from Spotify to comment that she has so much more to share than the guys let her speak. Don't like the fact that she got cut off as many times.
Cool of you to do that. I think that's the way we can change it by pointing it out and to be aware of it (for both genders) . I am sure the guys aren't trying to consciously curb her but rather an inherent nature thats been in boys club way too often
Boys didn't under state her. She did it to herself and it rubbed off onto others. It is not even about gender here, a young less experienced boy would have had the same experience.
@@realmilind No one is saying the boys made her do it. We are talking about the general scenario . by the way, her company is a year older than blusmart, so she is not a newbie that has to be to cut off this much and then be explained her own tech to her
loved the podcast. it was pretty informative. I feel that you could maybe upload the entire 6 hour pod, without cutting a large chunk of it. Perhaps in parts. I feel it would be still pretty relevant and would be viewed by a large audience while giving a even greater in depth understand. Regardless really appreciate you doing this for us.
Great stuff Nikhil! I am inspired by Tarun’s confidence in their scooter and decided to buy an Ather but availability is an issue like 3 months waiting 😅😢

Nikhil kamath, He is doing impeccably well asking questions in terms of laymen questions. A podcast should be like this. Not just listening.. ask questions what others are have doubt in mind
@Nikhil has clearly not studied 10th std. Other guests have to teach him the basics of battery, current, etc. But kudos for showing how to learn on a daily basis. We all tend to overestimate our knowledge and refrain from learning any complex problem. The way he asks questions is simply mind-blowing
Nikhil Loved your content you are making an amazing show. Please continue to make more of such content. Dhanyawad sabhi ka jo iss showpar aaye aur itne ache insights diye.
People commenting that this is like a business school need to know that you can consume data all day long but data won't translate into real world skills which the business school somewhat tries to teach. These data consumption mostly leads to knowledge showoff amongst peers.
True but I think it's still critical to listen, learn, take notes and continue curiosity, helps clear out mind clog when you are stuck on a problem or just need that boost of ideas.

Ohhh bhai😂🔥
Spoke my mind and more. Thanks a lot for suggesting these. I hope Nikhil sir picks it up

Nikhil Kamath asking 10th Physics doubts and Chetan Sir explaining it calmly. Treat to watch
I love how everyone were struggling to explain cell and battery,😂 loving the conversation and fundamental questions on EV. You go Nikhil.
It's hard to dumb it down for a layman.
Have you gone mad in awe of someone else's money
Cute of you to think he does all this.😂
Moderating such an in-depth conversation among the subject matter experts takes a different level of skill and curiosity.
@indraneelb.7972 Bang one, if I have rooftop solar and have electric 2 and 4 wheelers I don't need to visit any Petrol or Hydrogen station.
😂😂
@@indraneelb.7972Her business is the R&D concerning electricity producing microorganisms. Her field is fascinating and large scale deployment of the same will be incredible.
At the moment using the same for conversion to hydrogen through an electrolyzer is legitimate market strategy. Solar was panned early on as too expensive and impractical. Today is has the praise of advocates like you.

In layman’s. The most confusing & haywire yet so interesting podcast EVER! I wish they had Ola CEO Bhavesh Agarwal here on this platform as well.
Well it's basic rule of corporate meeting that you don't put two directly competing people/firms which are equivalent to ticking time bomb ready to blast in just condition one difference of opinion , you would observe in all his podcasts that there are no directly competing parties there 😂

Because vibe here is like pure discussion
Just loved the way Suruchi gave her introduction. So crisp and easy to understand such a complicated thing!
Deeply appreciate Nikhil down to earth approach and deep knowledge of the panelists.
In particular Mr. Chetan should inspire many by his persistence
Bulk appreciation for Nikhil listening to these amazing minds and asking the necessary questions for the audience!
2:23 thanks Tarun for saving the poor guy from intruding personal questions. You are an empathetic person. We Indians really have to stop our habit of probing people who are introvert or modest or being humble. I used to be like that bluesmart guy, getting more and more awkward with such BS questions...nowadays I just destroy these people by asking ultraprobing extremely personal questions back....such as are you regretting having children or how is your libido after decades of married life etc. etc. The Paradox is, once you achieve the ability to fireback, people realize it and you don't get asked such questions anymore, however much you want that to happen.
puneet is such a great speaker...he loves his company so much and explains everything so nicely
It was really good to see that all these founders are unveiling their business models, secrets, cost structures etc on open platforms, which may increase competition for them. Nikhil is also doing a good job here to not allowing them to evade any question.
One of the most knowledgeable podcast across UA-cam & the best part is Nikhil sir asks every small detail like a layman
Thank u Nikhil kamath for starting this channel.....It helps many business students like me to learn directly from the experts..
His show feels like those easy-to-follow "books for dummies" that everyone loved. Each episode is a cool way to learn stuff. Excited for the next one! Thanks for the awesome content!
Truly impressed by Nikhil sir's spot on thinking and questionnaire with every topic change and circling back to his larger agenda.
Chetan seriously OG of the industry...🙏🏽🙇🏽..

Can’t express how much I love these 3 hrs long podcasts ❤❤
Great work.
Nikhil understands how we would understand and he asks the right questions
Nikhil is testing everyone's patience by making it longer and longer. But really, totally engaging discussion!
Thank you all for such an in-depth conversation.
-Ambient air quality fund for Delhi and still the air is not so ambient to breathe….
- I personally feel manual swapping in 2 wheelers is a good option.
I love how Nikhil can asks the hardest questions from the other founders, which you would never see them answering on Moneycontrol or else!
My thoughts exactly. It's almost like a VC interview but which even a layman can understand
I would say, every powerful person should share the network and knowledge as Nikhil is doing, this is absolutely crazy podcasts.
What makes it the best podcast in India is the fact that Nikhil sir keeps focusing on young people starting an EV business
I felt the samething.
I also noticed the same. She was a misfit in this group, but this is what we call networking 😊.
Are u kidding. The woman explained how are they innovatively extracting hydrogen and recycling the water which will reduce cost of production.
Business is Business.
it's all about asking the right questions..all the questions Nikhil asked were so essentially fundamental which is a fusion of both from the investor and enthusiasts point of view..absolutely stunning

I truly wish we reach a place where amazing women like Suruchi Rao stop under-stating themselves in a group. She’s doing great stuff
The blatant sexism among the men, in not including Suruchi in their ‘inspired by’ and mansplaining after her is appalling.
@@realmilind No one is saying the boys made her do it. We are talking about the general scenario . by the way, her company is a year older than blusmart, so she is not a newbie that has to be to cut off this much and then be explained her own tech to her

Watching 3 hr podcast is more enjoyable, knowledgeable and helpful then attending my entire day in college.
There should be a talk on stock broker industry with Mr Nikhil
People commenting that this is like a business school need to know that you can consume data all day long but data won't translate into real world skills which the business school somewhat tries to teach. These data consumption mostly leads to knowledge showoff amongst peers.
True but I think it's still critical to listen, learn, take notes and continue curiosity, helps clear out mind clog when you are stuck on a problem or just need that boost of ideas.
Thank you so much, Nikhil. Your initiative will make a massive difference for people like me who aspire to be entrepreneurs. After binge-watching all the episodes, I have set a goal of being a guest on your podcast in the future.
