Hello Sir Great content. I loved the scrambler from the day the spy shots were leaked. After waiting for a long time and due to a desperate need of a motorcycle, I owned a Hunter 350. Rode for around 9k kms and sold it off. As you guys rightly mentioned, I was little skeptical of the scrambler though I love it for all the reasons you said; I was ready to compromise for a speed 400 just because of the seat height. I get the idea of speed being primarily a commuter bike. But I love my speed and use mainly for long rides. Have done 9000+ kms already in 3 months. I still love the bike and have never felt uncomfortable. Only issue is the mild vibration at top end. But since I rarely go past 100 kmph, not a big deal for me. Also I don't go off road. But during the rides, I have ridden on some pretty bad roads including some under construction where I could hear pebbles hitting the mud guard. The bike handled those roads fine. But I don't feel confidence in the tires to handle really tricky situations. Overall good bike for touring.
Love you both ! Good & effective comparison review !! Can’t do better than this ! Crisp and simple !! Keep us with your happy motoring reviews Bhaski & Ck 🤝🤝🤝🙏👍
Sir I tried both the models of Triumph 400, I find the Speed 400 performance at the highest levels it's quick fast to accelerate and matches the Scrambler in Top End, the Scrambler got a linear acceleration takes its own time to build up speed ,it's the same slow sluggish movement in all the gears ! The Scrambler doesn't justify the extra 30k+ pay ! It's my review based on my years of being a Roadie thanks ❤
Another comparo video done well! Agree with all points. If you got the extra cash and want a more versatile machine, it is better to go for the Scrambler. It also feels bigger (for a big bike feel) due to the long travel suspension and larger front wheel, as some people prefer that after spending on a 400 cc machine. For me, the Speed works well due to the following reasons: 1. Love the timeless roadster design. 2. The diminutive size of the Speed helps to stay under the radar, especially in black like mine. Unless you notice the lights or that big Triumph logo on the tank, it can easily pass off as a 150. I wish they used the same logo as on the Scrambler. 3. Suspension tuning actually feels better on the Speed on the road. 4. My usage is mainly city commutes in packed Bengaluru traffic, with occasional highway runs. The size and nimbleness helps here. 5. Pre 2024 price was actually incredible value for money for the package you get. I need to add a few accessories along the way, the most important of which are the tank pads. Wonder when they'll be in stock 😤. Might also get the double barrel exhaust somewhere down the line. One weird thing I want to point out is the headlight mounts. The aluminium ones on the Speed look so good! The steel ones on the Scrambler, while more durable against falls or bumps, look like PVC pipes with that paint!
Get a lower engine guard, sump guard and back rack as accessories from Triumph(surprisingly economical..!)...In a black speed 400, the aluminum finished backrack along with its side bars look stunning...It costs only 2000/-₹ and the tax along with labour charge will cost an additional 800₹... Further, apart from the looks, it adds to the luggage capacity as well as offering additional safety to pillion rider since there is enough and more area for support if at all the person falls back...Happy cruising fellow rider...👍🏼
@@West2WesternGhats Thanks for the suggestions! I was planning on the lower engine guard and sump guard as well, subject to availability of course 😁. The luggage rack is also a useful accessory for sure. I'm not sure if I will install a top box, but would be good to have the provision if I decide to.
@@the_winged_helm Rear rack without the top box I meant...it shouldn't be considered as an accessory, but as part of the bike. You see, the rear part of Speed 400 looks oddly out of shape because the mud guard projects far out. When you place the rear rack, the length of the bike increases postero_superiorly, covering the rear mud guard over and above, there by making the bike proportionate and symmetrical... That's why I would like you to accessorise the bike with a back rack... It can be used for tailbags, thus freeing up the back seat for a pillion rider. Personally I feel a topbox doesn't do justice in a retro modern design. Further the bike isnt large enough for a top box...
OMG… I didn’t know Triumph had given soo much of thought in making scrambler from Speed. Especially the point you said regarding foot rests and gear lever
Hilarious Horseplay whilst at Bikes! As a North Indian who has spent time in the South incl stints Bengaluru n Madurai...enjoy your Humour and accent. @dfarmer4201 for the looks..better specs on paper..better suspension. But even as a tourer the HD engine and gearing very tractable. HD fuel mileage 15% better Best to test drive One thing for sure..HD will last longer, air cooled is more reliable it's low stressed engine that runs cool
Hi Sir i am big fan of you. Thanks for your contribution to educate and share very informative videos. I am not happy with your comparison video of speed and scrambler as you chose the other person who is as tall as you. It would been wonderful if you chose some one who is atleast 5.6 or 5.7 tall to review and share his feedback on Scrambler. Cause it is a fact that 5.6 or 5.7 tall people cant handle this bike easily sitting on the bike
My previously owned bikes are hornet 160, pulsar rs200 and pulsar n250. When I took test ride of speed and scrambler I liked speed more. Speed felt at home, felt more engaging and sure footed. On the contrary scram felt so unnatural, I was thinking like why do people need handlebar risers for already tall handlebars 😄. These guys are more used to adv style bikes and that is ok. It boils down to personal preference.
Wow Sir , no video on UA-cam has give such a indepth clarity in comparison of scrambler 400x vs speed 400., thanks a lot 🍻 , I'm commiting to scrambler 400x
PLS NOTE: There is price difference of 65K between these two in Blr. I preferred Speed because i was new to these high end machines(always rode Activa before this) and it suited me well with giving comfortable feel while riding. I wasn’t even aware of riding geared bikes before buying speed. Learnt just before the purchase When i watched your video of Speed, i immediately subscribed
With stickier tyres, speed offers a pleasant and comfortable ride onroad at higher accelarations. Riding triangle is surprisingly comfortable and the only drawback on long rides is the lack of space and luggage carrying options which can be ironed out commendably by adding triumph's own back rack if you are a solo traveller. With a pillion, space matters..! Always remember, smaller tyres give better comfort on road... Those 17 inch ones are pure bliss...Another issue is the inaccurate fuel guage which hasnt improved even after two software updates. Coupled with the small fuel tank, you need to get your math right while deciding a fuel stop..! Other than these issues, I absolutely love my speed400; with stunning looks and world class built quality which you can only dream of in a motorbike made in our country. Completed nearly 4000kms with two long rides.
I had gone to the showroom to purchase speed 400. I changed my mind after the test ride - just felt that it was scrambler that was more suitable for me - superb bike.. But one grievance i have with the scrambler is, the headlights aren't powerful enough.. especially the high beam. Low beam is alright..

Nice to see your reviews. I’m 6ft tall , almost 40 years. Currently riding FZ250 v1. My bike requirement is low end torque, comfortable seat & posture, good to ride in city as it’s my 90% usage and occasional highway ride where I prefer around 60-80kmph without vibrations and stressing the engine. I’m confused between 400X and CB350.
Both are good choices. The former is a rev happy machine while the latter is a laid back thumper. Both can serve your purpose. Depends on your demeanour.
@@bigbearbangalore thank you. I like the stance of 400X. Quality wise will the 400X match the CB? Also since you own 400X, what about the stalling issue? Since it’s not yet fixed even after the ECU update.
This has been the channel that i listen to while working in office :) im 6ft and 90kgs and currently ride a FZV3 and wanna upgrade to a bike with the best suspension setup. My city has very bad roads and this will be my commute everyday - 50 kms daily. Pls advise
I always consider the top end speed of any bike to indicate the comfortable riding speed or the cruising speed before taking a test ride. Other than that... i never test the top speed of any vehicle.
Even though this comparison is valid and balanced to an extent, for the daily riding folks and occasionally long distance touring folks, the Speed 400 comes around as a approachable, comfortable and much affordable option. The speed vs scram comparison is a bit wrong, & the competitors of the speed belong to the retro cruisers category, amongst which the speed 400 is a no-brainer for anyone who is expecting some performance & good handling 👍 (This comment is w.r.t the fact that most ppl just do touring on regular roads, and a few off road patches, which the speed is more than capable to handle and excel)
Understood and this is video information that can help someone on the fence between the two available in the same showroom and not a verification or certification. It's an opinion. Finally a test ride is what will provide answers to the buyer. And you've said what we've said too to a large extent. Cheers!
Bought my scrambler couple of weeks back.. Definitely Scrambler gives a rich experience in terms of ownership.. Love watching ur reviews, but missing that “Hello” at the start.. 😊
Thank you Bosky and CK. Always a treat watching your reviews which is filled with insightful information. After watching reviews of different bikes and TDing some of them i shortlisted, I have finally booked the Scrambler 400X in the Red colour. Eagerly waiting for it's delivery now. And once again thanks to both of you as your reviews helped me understand the different bikes from a different perspective (less technical jargon and more user relatable info) 🙏
Oh god ! I’m around your age (meaning Old !), riding a big & beefy Kawi 650 Cruiser since 2018, didn’t need another bike, but couldn’t resist the temptation of owning a Triumph for under Rs 3 L, so booked a Speed on the same day its price was announced, got it home (despite the Residency road test ride experience during peak hour, despite feeling guilty of squandering money on yet another motorcycle at this age !), enjoying the agile, peppy and cute motorcycle for a few months.. But it seems you guys are determined to make me poorer and feel “guiltier” by recommending Scram (as my yet another motorcycle) 😉
The "Platina Splendor" comment was pure gold. I would have thought FZS, Pulsar, RTR, etc riders upgrading to the mid-segment aspirational bikes, but interesting choice of example 🙂
Love from Kerala Love your content, I ride a glamour, though I know the feel of adv that u mentioned bcus I ride a Himalayan(411) of my friend which i prefer a lot I love speed riding only once and its a very fun
Was waiting for this comparison. Great video. Was curious about what the bike looked like after removing the back-seat of the Scrambler & how easy/ difficult they made it. Prefer the look of the Speed as it reminds me of my fave looking motorcycle the Kawasaki Z900 but seems like the Scrambler is more purpose-built. Hate the look of the dual-exhaust though. But congrats on the Scrambler Sir. Was lookin forward to seeing all the accessories you've bought installed (beak, etc) but I guess that'll be the next video or reel. Love the channel. Keep em coming. Can't wait for the Shogun rebuild & from one RX lover to another, if you ever want to review a single owned Yamaha RXZ (135) 5-Speed, just holler 🙂
I felt this video was overly negative towards what the speed is good at. No mention of the grippier tyres, the sportier stance, the looks that many people prefer over an ADV sort of offroader style, the pillion accessibility. People have done Ladakh on the speed with no issues and 1000s of kilometers of highways easily so calling it a bike that will be meh on highways is just silly. With the growth in your channel I hope you will also learn to see the perspective of different types of riders instead of only catering to the ADV-style community.
Yes, we are ADV riders and tourers and we share from that perspective. Negative or not is a perception. You've shared yours and we've shared ours. No right no wrong, but just a perception. And its an individual choice. Thanks.
I got the Speed in October, before the Scrambler reviews came out/deliveries started. While after watching the reviews I do feel somewhat curious about the Scrambler. I like the design of the Speed's tank a lot more. This is my first bike, so I wanted something light, compact and easy. Also, Speed was barely in my budget, the Scrambler would definitely be too much of a stretch.
Question : can I fit the speed’s handlebar to the scrambler? 🤔 Reason : speed seems to be a bit too small for me😅. I’m more of a roadster rider😎,and I don’t like the scram’s handlebar. I would have to change the foot pegs also.
I thought I will mention my experience with my Speed 400. For me, the launch price for Speed 400 itself was a bit of stretch. I walked in during November and they said the launch price is still there. I had sold my Karizma R a year ago. I had not ridden a motorcycle for over a year. Took a short test ride, I was impressed by the superb acceleration, refinement and suspension tuning. Did not bother to test ride Scram, as I did not have budget. I took the delivery of Speed 400 after few days. I don't like the idea of calling Speed a commuter. In city this is actually not very smooth if we want to ride very slow. A slight twist of the throttle just pushes you more than you expect. And the engine breaking on closing the throttle is bit annoying too. Open 2 lane, 4 lane roads are where it shines actually and in a big way. Especially if you are coming from the likes of FZ, Apache, Zma and Pulsar.
Ok thanks for sharing. And if you become more accepting of the mid size engine characteristics of the 400, you’ll perhaps enjoy the ride and ownership more.
Can I Put Hand Under 😂😂😂😂Bosky Sir now your motorcycle review is next level with entertainment that you do 😂😂😂😂 GOD BLESS YOU SIR … If I see you in Bangalore .. i will definitely come and ask for picture with you 💐💐

I took the test of both speed and scrambler... Braking in scrambler was very weak for the pick up it had... Kinda felt non confident during the ride.. Whereas speed was not the same case.. Break bite was very good... Is this that specific bike issue or the scrambler is designed that way? I saw reviews where they mentioned about sintered pads in speed and organic pads in scrambler.. Can we switch the sintered into scrambler too and get a better breaking? Bosky, need your comment on this... Thanks 😊 This review really helped me to decide between both as I was having confusion choosing between them... Thank you for this very much meaningful review
@@bigbearbangalore i saw your review on breaking of Scrambler... Looks like you suggest to stay with organic pads to have more stroke available... I'll give it a try with one more test drive. Baski, A research project for you...i heard experts say that brakes on scrambler 400x is same as Duke 390 / KTM ADV 390. Now...Will the spoke wheels of KTM 390 Adv FIT triumph 400X? Possible to research and make a video? This will make 400X more valuable offroad than himi 450.!! A fan, and keep posting valuable info
Brakes can be the same. Like tyres, brakes are also standardised to a large extent in the interest of cost control. While anything is possible I don't think the wheels are a direct fit. And Triumph have officially stated that the alloys on the Scrambler are tougher than regular alloys and are good enough for non-professional off-roading. And if there is still a concern, just carry a spare tube just in case of any rim damage.
I came in from an RE Thunderbird to the Scrambler 400x and it was almost seamless (except for my RE cruiser posture). But when I test rode the Speed 400, it felt like I was riding a tiger and could be easily thrown off...it didn't feel all that stable to me. That said, if I was short(er), I would have gone for the Speed 400!
Thank you both for your in-depth and entertaining reviews. I am in the USA and just learning to ride a motorcyle. I want to purchase a small capacity single cylinder bike. Can you comment (or do a video) on how the Triumph Speed 400 compares to the RE Hunter 350. I can appreciate the recommendation to go with the Triumph Scrambler 400, however, for a beginner rider in the USA where I would be doing back /country roads and suburb driving (with limited highway riding) would you recommend the Speed 400 vs. Hunter 350? I have seen many reviews where the Speed 400 doesn't have the visceral experience /joy that the Hunter 350 does. Thank you.
Quite different they are in character. You'll need to them to find our what tickles you more. When it comes to engine performance, the 400s outclass the Hunter.
I just don't understand one thing. Why is speed a city commuter and not a highway machine? What does it lack? It has good good enough speed and good enough brakes. It is a small bike but other than that, I don't see an issue. By highway, do you mean looong rides?
Today i have done test ride of scram 400x, i feel it is better than the speed but only issue is of service network as in Delhi only 2 service centers are operational and if i shift to tier 2 city it will be even bigger problem for service of this bikes.😅

Hi Big Bear Folks, love your videos…. I plan to buy either the Scrambler 400x or the KTM 390 Adventure. My purpose of usage is mostly for city commuting and some light highway touring. Which would be a better alternative from a long term usage perspective?
I test drove both speed and scrambler. I liked the scrambler over speed 400. But I have narrow shoulders, and 900mm wide handle bar, got me concerned about effect on my shoulders or arms in Bangalore city driving and navigating short turns like u-turn. Well done. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍
Love you both ! Good & effective comparison review !! Can’t do better than this ! Crisp and simple !! Keep us with your happy motoring reviews Bhaski & Ck 🤝🤝🤝🙏👍
Thank you so much 🙏
Sir
I tried both the models of Triumph 400, I find the Speed 400 performance at the highest levels it's quick fast to accelerate and matches the Scrambler in Top End, the Scrambler got a linear acceleration takes its own time to build up speed ,it's the same slow sluggish movement in all the gears ! The Scrambler doesn't justify the extra 30k+ pay !
It's my review based on my years of being a Roadie thanks ❤
Ok thanks.
A real no nonsense review, great content
🙏
Another comparo video done well! Agree with all points. If you got the extra cash and want a more versatile machine, it is better to go for the Scrambler. It also feels bigger (for a big bike feel) due to the long travel suspension and larger front wheel, as some people prefer that after spending on a 400 cc machine.
For me, the Speed works well due to the following reasons:
Wow! Many thanks for sharing your experience. Great information in your comment to help those undecided. Well done. Cheers!
@@bigbearbangalore Flattered! 😊
👍
Great video! Thanks for the detailed breakdown - keep up the excellent work!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks.
Sir the way you showed the handlebar posture was epic 😂😂😂😂
Huge fan ❤

Hello Sir, I was very happy to meet you today at Mahesh Prasad,Mysore. Love the way you speak and explain about bikes. Keep rocking n happy biking😊.

Best Quality content without rosy style from our Bengaluru.
Simple language and entertaining as well.
🙏
Finally someone talks specifically about posture and that’s the main core when you are on long ride .
🙏
Hilarious Horseplay whilst at Bikes!
As a North Indian who has spent time in the South incl stints Bengaluru n Madurai...enjoy your Humour and accent.
I've booked my Scramblr green though after riding HD440X for 800km over two days was hugely impressed by its sound, chassis, low end torque and willing engine.
So just like u want a place in my garage for the 440..
I've also ordered the three Triumph accessories that u did from showroom...all functional and vfm.
Cheers guys and keep them coming!
Awesome! Enjoy the ride!
My dilema is which to go for HD440 or Triumph Scrambler. Highway and dirt road riding in equal. Why did you choose Scrambler over HD?
@dfarmer4201 for the looks..better specs on paper..better suspension.
But even as a tourer the HD engine and gearing very tractable.
HD fuel mileage 15% better
Best to test drive
One thing for sure..HD will last longer, air cooled is more reliable it's low stressed engine that runs cool
I have given up on biking (have become a sissy) but it is a pleasure watching you guys talk about bikes, makes one watch your reviews.
🙏
Enjoyed this interactive comparison ❤
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks.
Fantastic comparo! So practical & relatable.
Glad you liked it! Thanks.
Ok noted thanks. At the end Weber clearly mentioned that one could take a test ride to know more. That’s the final decider. Thanks.
@@bigbearbangalorethank you sir
Sir ur videos and content are damn informative. Very useful for bikers.
Appreciate the good work ! Best wishes ahead.❤

Yes. Personal preference.
Wow Sir , no video on UA-cam has give such a indepth clarity in comparison of scrambler 400x vs speed 400., thanks a lot 🍻 , I'm commiting to scrambler 400x
🙏
Really enjoy the interplay between friends.
🙏🏻
Two uncles taking about bikes on cool Bangalore mornings. Sweetest thing on the internet.
🙏
PLS NOTE: There is price difference of 65K between these two in Blr. I preferred Speed because i was new to these high end machines(always rode Activa before this) and it suited me well with giving comfortable feel while riding.
I wasn’t even aware of riding geared bikes before buying speed. Learnt just before the purchase
When i watched your video of Speed, i immediately subscribed
Well done. Thanks.
Man u guys r awesome.. Brilliant way of presenting
🙏
Thanks for sharing your ownership experience. Regards.
I had gone to the showroom to purchase speed 400. I changed my mind after the test ride - just felt that it was scrambler that was more suitable for me - superb bike.. But one grievance i have with the scrambler is, the headlights aren't powerful enough.. especially the high beam. Low beam is alright..
Thanks for sharing. Well done! 👍
2days ago I booked scrambler ….i think I made good choice ..i just love the machine
Good choice
Hey Big bear... I have speed 400 and it's amazing. I'm in love it. I've moved on from a 10 years of office commuter riding of 125cc Honda to this Triumph roadster. I call 'em "Road Romeo" and its already 5k in 2.5months. Need to learn some DIY bike maintenance, can you help me?
Did Goa IBW and met you there! Remember told you about rare break disk issue in insta once, they changed the whole system. Thanks for your advice really appreciate it. It's been lovely so far! Thank you for your insightful detailed reviews on bikes.
Will tell ya when I save enough for ATV bike next!
Happy to hear! Best wishes. We are not yet equipped to work on the Triumph. But you are welcome to the shop.

@@bigbearbangalore Sure, thanks!
Pls advise
👍
I always consider the top end speed of any bike to indicate the comfortable riding speed or the cruising speed before taking a test ride. Other than that... i never test the top speed of any vehicle.
👍
❤Just what I needed.. Mature content

Even though this comparison is valid and balanced to an extent, for the daily riding folks and occasionally long distance touring folks, the Speed 400 comes around as a approachable, comfortable and much affordable option.
The speed vs scram comparison is a bit wrong, & the competitors of the speed belong to the retro cruisers category, amongst which the speed 400 is a no-brainer for anyone who is expecting some performance & good handling 👍
(This comment is w.r.t the fact that most ppl just do touring on regular roads, and a few off road patches, which the speed is more than capable to handle and excel)
Understood and this is video information that can help someone on the fence between the two available in the same showroom and not a verification or certification. It's an opinion.
Finally a test ride is what will provide answers to the buyer.
And you've said what we've said too to a large extent. Cheers!
@@bigbearbangalore 🙂🙂 exactly sir

Bought my scrambler couple of weeks back.. Definitely Scrambler gives a rich experience in terms of ownership.. Love watching ur reviews, but missing that “Hello” at the start.. 😊
Right on! Best wishes.
Thank you guy's please keep up the good work 👍 👍
Thanks, will do!
Planning to get the speed for few weeks, this helps a lot.
Sincere thanks 😊
Glad it helped!
Thanks and congrats!
😀😀😀🙌
@@bigbearbangaloresir you should definitely check and advise speed owners on modifying speed with scrambler handles

Thanks for sharing. 🙏
And, the accessories, I have posted a couple of YT shorts, and also on Insta. Cheers!
I like the speed more and is why i picked it, 90% city use :)
👍
Thanks.
Loved the video
🙏
Hi @BigBearCustoms I am a real fan of your videos can you please make a video on the Benelli trk 502X or trk 702X
Thanks. I'll check on this video possibility.
Thanks for sharing. 👍
Hello sir! Which front break pads will better for scrambler 400x ?
Galfer
Please do not limit your reviews to adv bikes we would love to know your opinions on husquis and other bikes too!
We review what we know better hence Adv only. And when opportunity permits yes will also check other vehicles. Thanks for the suggestion.
Love your content. Nice video👍. I hope someday I will bump into yall(Not literally :D) while riding in Bangalore
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks.
Question : can I fit the speed’s handlebar to the scrambler? 🤔
Reason : speed seems to be a bit too small for me😅. I’m more of a roadster rider😎,and I don’t like the scram’s handlebar. I would have to change the foot pegs also.
Handlebar change should be possible.
@@bigbearbangalore thanks for the reply. Yes, I think I need to get used to the engine characteristics 😊
I am 6 feet tall (182cm height), after watching this video I will definitely go for a 400x!

Good choice.
cool & best review i feel like classical review...🥰
Glad you liked it. Thanks.
Thanks 😊
This review really helped me to decide between both as I was having confusion choosing between them... Thank you for this very much meaningful review
You can change pads to improve bite.
@@bigbearbangalore i saw your review on breaking of Scrambler... Looks like you suggest to stay with organic pads to have more stroke available... I'll give it a try with one more test drive. I'm riding Royal Enfield thunderbird from past 8 years. Looking for more fun with comfort and never thought of scrambler as an option untill I saw your reviews on scrambler.
Thanks for your feedback sir 😊
👍👍
What’s your height ?
@@mohammedfahiz2047 slightly >5'9"
For me definitely a scrambler , more upright position i prefer
👍
I'm so happy you didn't say the speed was best!
🙏
Could u suggest which could be the best buy among the Triumph scrambler, BMW, Royal Enfield guerillaa 450 and Honda,
Tough choice. Test ride back to back as far as possible to know more.
I just don't understand one thing. Why is speed a city commuter and not a highway machine? What does it lack? It has good good enough speed and good enough brakes. It is a small bike but other than that, I don't see an issue.
By highway, do you mean looong rides?
Yes long distance touring is the reference to.
Today i have done test ride of scram 400x, i feel it is better than the speed but only issue is of service network as in Delhi only 2 service centers are operational and if i shift to tier 2 city it will be even bigger problem for service of this bikes.😅
Yes that is a problem for now. Things may change in a year or so with more outlets.
Sir please post a tutorial as to how we can adjust the rear suspension in the Scrambler 400X,there are barely any useful videos on youtube😊
Will check on this. It needs a tool to up or down the preload. That's the only adjustment.
@@bigbearbangalore
Yes sir
And according to the manual the tool is provided in the tool packet provided under the seat, but the procedure isn't really clear
Hi Big Bear Folks, love your videos…. I plan to buy either the Scrambler 400x or the KTM 390 Adventure. My purpose of usage is mostly for city commuting and some light highway touring. Which would be a better alternative from a long term usage perspective?
Commuting more, touring less = 400X
I wish to buy my first bike soon 😇. It’s going to be scrambler X .
🙌
I test drove both speed and scrambler. I liked the scrambler over speed 400. But I have narrow shoulders, and 900mm wide handle bar, got me concerned about effect on my shoulders or arms in Bangalore city driving and navigating short turns like u-turn. The test drive was short duration, so I could not fully analyse it. I ride Yamaha FZS. Could you please share your thoughts about wide handlebar posture?
Wide bars = easier to operate.
You can cut an inch off at either end to narrow it but that could mean no bar end weights.
Nice review
Thanks!
