In this video Jake starts the day of closing a deal. Then goes in field to sell solar in San Diego California after new regulations with NEM 3.0. While in field Jake discusses how to pitch a ring camera and a sneaky trick to get around them. He then breaks down the strategies to sell more and alter / fix your solar sales pitch to increase appointments and set high quality appointments. @Real Sales Dynamics right now, my biggest smoke screen has been "I'm a renter" when they are actually the homeowner. For the life of me, I can't think of anything to get past that, cause let's face it, sales rabbit is not always up to date, and if they are telling the truth, it could potentially land a sales rep in hot water. Have any videos on that smoke screen/objection?

This is alot different than NY. We dont even push batteries so people literally do have bills that are too low to save any money.
Every region is different we hope to start filming in other territory’s to help other areas dial in there sales tactics!
Where in NY are you? Where I’m at, the UC charges .30 a kWh.
@Sammy I'm in Orange county and the lowest I've seen is 9cents/kWh but I've also seen highs of 32

I actually love this, so thank you! As a newer consultant I needed this; two months in almost. I love how you call people what they are....some are assholes and it is okay. They clearly love paying through the nose to PG&E or SDGE, and that is only going up. From where I come from (WA STATE) people would be up in arms if the electricity rates were doubled, and even if doubled, that is still only 22 cents a kWh. California is about 40 cents a kWh while WA is only 11 cents on average. Great stuff man! I am in the Sac area, but I know SDGE is BRUTALLY high. People up here hate PG&E, but many haven't made the switch yet. I don't even waste my time on people that don't respond. If you work a neighborhood long enough and installations start going up, it is possible the "assholes" will take notice and then ask for YOUR time. Thank you!

Hey y’all, fairly new to solar sales almost a month now y’all have been a lot of help but my closers seem to not be closing my deals lol, but they’re saying I haven’t set “good leads” any tips ?
Just keep grinding out appointments, theres really no such thing as “good” or “bad” leads. I’ve had leads close that I never thought would. It’s a numbers game and eventually if you set enough appointments, they’ll close. But if you continue to have this problem for several months, learn to close yourself or go to a company with better closers.
We have industry leading closing ratios. If you’re not happy with the results please apply!

The idea behind Solar is to reduce the worry by locking in a bill that never goes up until it’s eventually gone, there is no situation with your power company in which that is a possibility
The scam is the electric company. You have Stockholm syndrome. Look up how much your electric was 10 years ago. And think about how much money you would've saved by now if you would've locked in those rates back then.
I can mathematically prove that you’d save money long-term. And you’d have no rebuttal except “but.. but… ur a salesman!”. And in reality that is called ignorance.
