Thats awesome man, I turned 19 two months ago. I got a roofing sales job and I haven’t gotten much from it. I do admit that’s my fault because I would only knock 20-50 doors and then get discouraged. I got a new job with renewal by Andersen and it’ll pay consistently 1k per week and then whatever commissions we get on top of that will be added. I understand it’s a mental game and seeing you do 190+ first day just motivated the shit out of me. I’ll stay following and let you know how my journey goes.
im doing d2d right now for pest control. Honestly this video resonates with me heavily, D2D trains you to sell, but overtrains you in other aspects of the sale as well. Meanwhile other sales roles are way less taxing in that sense. But thats why im trying to get into tech sales or some other type of remote or office sales job.
Ahhh. A setter. I’m a D2D 1099 with Sunrun and just 1 deal we sell and install pays about 7-10k. The top people in our company make like 1.3-1.5 million a year and they sell and install only about 100 installs a year. (I say “only” compared with your 98 “sales” per month)
Bro I have been in door to door for a while started two years ago i just turned 25 I have been on and off started in Pest Control with Grit Marketing did one summer then year later went to another company and quit after like 2/3 months in the summer and transitioned into Solar because I felt better about the benefits that imply to homeowners having it. I have worked alongside Golden door reps giren training as well as one of the best right now in the nation for solar who i work alongside. I feel like i have the skillset for sales for sure but i lack motivation to knock because the team isn’t bought in if that makes sense & feel like it rubs off. But more just the thinking of having to knock i definitely feel like i would do better in a sale where it’s like high ticket or a dealership because it is like someone is already going there to get it anyway vs door to door you randomly show up at a door where they have no idea who you are and you convince them to get a product don’t get me wrong it is great to learn that skillset you can learn so much from door to door like you said but i just want advice I want to make more money in another industry would you recomend anything to me? Currently my situation is also i just started living with my dad after being homeless for a while he wants me to get a job hourly to have secure income and eventually do sales full time when i feel like i can do that financially. I have like 250$ in my account I think I am going to knock until i get something else where i can work hourly. But what do you think bro any advice you can give me?
you can make plenty of money from any sales industry bro whether it's dtd or car or remote. Would probably keep knocking & just make sure not to compare yourself to others bc that's a surefire way to lose motivation tbh.
LS in your scenario is meaning appointments? Or actual closes, cause 6 closes on your second day, would literally mean 6 same days ALL passing credit and signing up, the clarification would be nice to know. Keep killing it.
I feel so bad watching this… You did 98 sales in a month even if half canceled. You should have made well over 200k😭 can not believe you were knocking for hourly. This is coming from someone who has sold solar for years and knows what California deals pay
Same experience; was a top producing solar rep but didn't totally fit in with the alpha male culture and people asking how to be a top producer too. Good vid
Hey brother, appreciate the video but no mention of what training did you have to perform good, you can’t tell me you’re improvising and just working alone on your skills especially if it’s your first sales job.
Bro you’re lying , this is just SETS not closes, any real solar closer wouldn’t have wasted time in university lol , and you would’ve made hundreds of thousands you wouldn’t still be living at your mom and dads house buf

I made 75k last summer doing solar with just 24 installs, and I am willing to bet you had more installs if you did 98 leads.
24 installs should’ve made you 160k at the very least. Were you an appoint setter or the project manager?
Starting this week. This vid was good motivation

Still nice job! Btw.
Just want you to know that you should be a closer too so that you can sell and make 10x what you made previously.
what area were you based out of?
How many deals closed that you set? I have a feeling that you and your coworkers got taken advantage of.
Were you setting and closing or just setting?

I was Thinking the same thing
Meant to say leads set, miscommunication on my part

In Maryland you get 1k for every solar sale upfront and % of when installed. Either he was just a setter or Buddy just worked for a bad pay structure.
@@Slimeem49even setters should be paid more both companies I worked for setters got commission and a good amount of it
I would like too see you sell a shoe cleaner door to door and see how well you would do compared to kenny brooks.
Hey bro I would like to hop on a call with you but I’m gonna be pretty busy Monday and Tuesday do you have openings any other day?
message me on instagram @sharne.zhu
I hope this isn't 1099 because if so you should have made atleast 100k
What kind of remote sales do you do?
high ticket ecom
When are you gonna get to the point?
Bro 2k a week for those numbers is diabolical
we live we learn

I just started sales. Solar appointment setter. What’s ur pitch?
you were getting paid per hour and not per lead?
there happened to be hourly pay as well 🫡 I assumed that was their way of getting people in the door

Improvising and working alone is exactly what I did. Had tips here and there from people I worked for but I was self taught for the most part.
Them 96 must have been leads not deals sold
I wouldn't want my name leaked on a UA-cam video like that lmao
Good stuff. Doing d2d as a realtor

its worth nothing now... who are you selling with now..I was with sunpower as well... I need installers
sunpower just went out of business didnt they?
I was with them a year ago but yes the day after I recorded this they're going under I believe💀
