Randomly popped up on my frontpage and holy hell did I get hit by the BIGGEST nostalgia wave ever. The music, the sound fx, the visuals - everything was amazing. Thank you for reminding me of some good times. Chaser was the coolest gamemode for sure. At least for me.
Oh man what a blast from the past seeing your name pop up in my feed after ..genuinely many years (by looking at your videos.. around 12 years ago lol) I hold this game very close to my heart cause yeah, it was part of my childhood being one of the first online games i kinda put a lot of time into. One of the few i stuck with cause i would be in a craze hopping from MMO to MMO. I do not know what it was that captivated me so much to stick with the game considering all the options i had but i'm glad i did. Being there from the first days, i remember when the UI changed and all the tutorials got thrown into the trash and how they never finished the Arcade mode but instead replaced it with that....very very boring Alice / Wonderland one.. After Season 2 i stopped playing as much, very on and off focusing on other games but i never really left. Somehow i stayed with the game up until Season 8...? I didn't even know 9 and 10 were even a thing until much later. Besides all the memories i made playing the game (god i could keep going and going) i did not really keep contact with many of the friends i made along the way cause i would often forget my accounts... However there is one group i kept in touch with to this day and i'm pretty sure one of em still plays on one of those private servers. That aside, i do miss this game and sometimes have the itch to hop back into it, Chaser was by far my favorite mode be melee only or unlimited. I did get tired of Station-2 and remember how we used to call it the "real deal" ..i remember when i used to hack and give myself different costumes and whatnot (yet they would keep their F2P stats). to this day there isn't really anything like it.. i played GunZ / GunZ 2 but even so it was not the same and felt a lot more stiff (no offense) the fact that people still keep it alive and remember it even if they don't play makes me happy. ..Now if only we could do the same for other dead MMOs.. Anyways i'm sorry for the wall of text, i love this game way too much i could keep yapping..
Hello ex-GM here (GM-Zen, maybe some of you remember me) and very old player back from alaplaya, just giving my thoughts on the game overall: - The premium stat items became less problematic with time, there were quite a few events where getting a set would be pretty easy, that's why most people were running around with one to begin with. The pen capsules definitely gave regular players a fighting chance although they were pretty expensive. - The enchanting system is a complicated topic, but it boils down to most of the stats being completely meaningless and the defense piercing enchant being disgustingly broken (it would give you a chance to ignore armor completely, which would kill any player extremely quickly if it triggered a couple of times). - In the end lack of content and overall interest is what ended up killing the game, not to mention the ridiculous amount of hackers, surprised I saw no mention of the vigilante blacklist that was going on. So many memories and so many things to talk about... thanks for the trip down memory lane!
@@hoanguyenxuan4219 Not really, these weapons were clearly balanced around guns gameplay. The game was never balanced around sword only so I can see why those players would have a problem with those.
@@S4Fullsupport I can still feel the frustration when they spammed the right click. Man! But those were the good time! Play S4 league and Gunz on potato computer after school days hit different fam :((
not giving a sh about the video game is what killed it Lmao people still play it till this day haha wdym due to the lack of content. No bugs were ever fixed the server capacity was never adjusted all they did care about was money
three things i wanted to say: for me, i wasnt an aestethics player, so i just made a new account at some point and tried to get with the starting pen + tutorial a premium set through the pen capsules. if i didnt get one, i made a new account until i got it, or even until i got a premium weapon like the puppy revolver too. that was a good way to get some premium stats as a f2p early on. second: the esper chips were really broken, one of them gave your revolver 2 more ammunition, so instead of 7 you had 9 shots, and after a couple of years they removed the system (as far as i remember) but didnt remove the esper chips. so oldschool players had an advantage over you if you didnt get them or started playing later on. third, even more broken was the F Skill, i dont know if you ever saw it, but there were 3 types: a extra dash, a 1shot laser with like 1 minute cooldown or getting close to unkillable with the same amount of cooldown. me as a rusher used the F Skill with the Dash function. all 3 extra skills were completely broken, but the dash skill did make alot of fun because it would blend in perfectly as a rusher, because it canceled all other movement and went straight ahead with a mini dash. important: its not a skill like anchor, it was extra. keybind was on "F", thats why F Skill. the problem is that it was really really expensive to get, over hundreds of thousands of pen. Thats why u see at 12:15 every room having "nf" meaning "no f skills allowed" as a description. but this was mostly on only sword rooms.
I have been trying to remember the name of this game for the past week. Glad I ran into your video, lots of fun was had back when it came out. My first true competitive multiplayer itch.
A really nice video. I used to play it with a friend, but dropped it after some time because of the p2w aspect of it. I must admit though, i remember this time very fondly and this video really made the nostalgia hit me in the face.
It's been a while since I saw you in this platform, my mind still remembered your dumbass montages and it felt like a trip to the past, I met a lot of people during my time playing S4 League and literally one person kinda stuck around for a bit but this person was still the toxic mess I met in S4 so.... Yeah, that's something, regardless of that, the hackers, the shitty p2w fully implemented system that the game had going on, I still feel like **NO OTHER GAME GAVE ME THAT EXPERIENCE** the feeling of belonging to a community, to know the mechanics, to this day I still think of those stair jumps to reach the score, and blowing the bridge up, that was fun too, thanks for bringing a slice of my past back :)
Good Video Mr. Ex0. Sometimes i rewatch my old screenshots, AxjOnes Videos, just to get the good old nostalgia flashbacks. Thank you for showing up the upcoming alternatives.
Old casual player here too. I want to say I appreciate you for having the balls to comment on the bitter division between SO players and Unlimited players. I remember during the last years before shutdown the tensions had gotten to the point you couldn't even have a proper discussion about the state of the servers without people getting extremly defensive and start pointing fingers. I acknowledge things had already been pretty bad for a long time due to the increasing pay2win gap, but I genuinely think the final nail for the game was when the experience became unbearable for newcomers because they couldn't even try 90% of what the game had to offer and they would get kicked from most of the rooms anyways for being inexperienced. I think a game like this can be pretty much considered to be past the point of no return when you look at the newbie channels and they're completely desolate save for the 4 or so elite smurf accounts farming exp-link bonuses. Regardless of how bad (and unplayable at times, even) it got towards the end, nothing else has managed to fill the hole that S4 left in my soul. Some of the fondest memories from those years will hold a special place in my heart for as long as I live.
Super nostalgic video, I played near the beginning of the game's live service and then came back towards the end just to experience the nostalgia I still keep in touch with some of the relationships I made back in the day and it truly brings back some fond memories I have of that time.
Man I remember S4. I cant believe the official servers lasted as long as they did, but its cool to hear private servers are up and running and that a new game Code ZIN is keeping the spirit alive. I used to be obsessed about this game. Im definitely gonna keep an eye on Code ZIN now though thanks to you.
Amazing video! To recap, I used to play often as "Nimblepaw"! I played a lot of chaser, and unlimited death match! I loved to use Sentry, Block, and heal teammates, which the other team fucking hated since almost no one used support LMFAO I wanted to share just how busted enchanting got. I often played with a woman who had a +40% damage +64% crit chance +58% crit damage revolver, and a slightly inferior shotgun. As they were premium items she was doing 51% bonus damage, with a base 75% ish crit chance, which would then do 2.5x damage instead of 2x extra damage. They are spread weapons so you would just get near someone and swap between them and you could almost fill a room with bullets through a swap glitch so it was basically undodgable She told me she had spent over 1900 USD on these two weapons alone. Her armor had some similarly ridiculous bonuses, but I couldn't examine those as she had disabled it, everytime I died by her hand I saw the enchantments pop up lmao
This takes me back as S4 was also part of my childhood, I remember I was really good at being defensive using the Baseball Bat weapon on Touchdown and some people (at least in my home country server) would recognize me for it, but the rampant problem of hackers, the blatant P2W aspect , terrible netcode, and the fact that my free Baseball Bat with a decent stat was gone made me quit S4 altogether, the effing dagger that one shots me also doubles my decision to quit the game. Aside from that, I do remember having someone who is a COMPLETE STRANGER on my facebook friend list lent me his aeria account and that was really crazy to think about, I thankfully borrowed and did not do anything weird with his account. I logged in, tried some weapon, and holy hell the ping and the hackers were really really bad on your server back then lmao. I understand the ping issue because of the distance, but whatever rooms I was in has a hacker in it. I'm also interested seeing all the weapons through out the game lifespan so hopefully I get to see that
I remember watching your videos like 10 years ago i wouldnt even thought that you would comeback to do a video about s4 league... you gave me some serious laugh back in the day...also the OHAOH reminded me one of ur old videos
Wow, a blast from the past. A lot of memories tied to S4 League. Such a unique game and community too. A shame it couldn't keep up and made all those p2w changes. The Riukin series were especially memorable as I got to voice one of the characters. I think the name was Allen, small role but fun regardless. A unique opportunity for sure! But looking back I do cringe a little at my teenage voice. Great to see you drop a video was a nostalgic trip for sure!
S4 League and Ghost X were my ultimate childhood online games. Most of my online fond memories were from those games. I'll miss them for the rest of my life.
I remember playing S4league back in the day and reaching S4 rank. Reaching that rank was the main reason I quit. Players started saying that I couldn't make mistakes, every little thing I did wrong was an instant kick because I apparently "bought the account". I couldn't play in low ranked lobbies because I was "too good", and high ranking ones were too sweaty. I also remember wasting most of the time before quitting in "Chill rooms" and having a ton of fun there, practicing jumps, starting strange contests and testing things.
i was just talking about this game cause ZZZ reminds me alot of this. mid 00s style of design. s4 league and gunz had such an amazing gameplay despite it's bugs and exploits it's was actually fun to play especially against really good players.
I played S4 League until Season 2, and to me, Seasons were the beginning of the end. New UI, no lobby, and then seasons (season 1 forced dark Noir Setting in the neofuturistic game), so I felt like the game lost me. Still, I have some cool memories :D The old UI reminded me of another futuristic game, Space Rangers 2 (which I still kind of love) and what I'll call now: Frutiger Aero. It was around the time I switched to Windows Vista, so this game felt very fitting. Actually I liked S4 League, because it didn't feel pay to win. I could buy some cheap pants and a T-shirt and I was good to go. The soundtrack was amazing, I especially loved Highway and Ship ost (map from Season 1/2). Chaser brings back memories. I started playing S4 league on a 2004 PC with a bad GeForce graphics card, but because it was weak, it produced a huge, increasing in side Square around the sniper gun, which gave me uncanny advantage - I could see the snipers from afar :D Very unfortunately, the players only wanted to play only on S4 League's "de_dust2" maps: either Station-2 or Neden-1. Station-2 was OK, but Neden-1 was just boring. Neden-2 was a nice refresh of Neden-1, and I really loved Neden-3 and all its weird tunnels :D . Or I absolutely loved DM Highway. But not many somehow did. Arcade was a fun but controversial addition. I remember that in one level, you could win by failing :D Flirt servers were weird AF, it was basically s...x roleplay Regarding cheating - it was super annoying, but at some point, I became a cheater myself :D . But I didn't mess with others as much, I made another cheater friend, with whom we took turns going through the arcade (I think Arcade gave something unique, I don't remember). By the way, later cheats allowed you to put on any clothes without buying, so you could look really cool without spending real life money. Fun fact: on the map of Highway, there is an ad of S4 League coming out for... PSP! Unfortunately, it never came out, but when I got my PSP, there were many fakes of supposedly "S4 League for PSP". I really wish it came out Thank you S4 League for fun memories!
Oh my god, exo! I watched your vids when I was a kid, seeing your name pop up on my feed again is wild. Haven't heard of Code ZIN until now, I'm really interested now.
Some time before closing there was a design contest for that game, at that time I was a big fan and together with a friend we decided to participate. The prize was never awarded, we were never announced as winners and some time later a set came out with a very similar design (Blake set). I played in the Latin s4league (Yuisy) and in fact I knew your channel and had my own. I don't know if I would say they were better times. (If the yuisy forums are still active you can see my complaint and my design and draw your conclusions)
Not quite sure where I should start... but first of all thank you for such a nostalgic video (and everything in the past)! It kinda broke my heart so see S4 being shutdown in 2021 even when I didnt play it anymore - so many people grinding that game for a huge amount of years and with one click, everything is lost. The private servers are the best way to honor S4 as a game that shaped so many people in every age - but it makes me sad, that most of the lobbies are OS - I miss playing Guns... I often think about the old days, meeting people online, practicing together and spending more time with them than with my parents (you can't tell me you weren't in the same position guys, be honest 😁). I'm happy to say that playing S4 is a time in my life I didn't want to miss anymore. This game had such a huge potential but the breakthrough sadly never happened, especially regarding the competitive scene and it's esport capability. Nonetheless the SuperSonic tournaments were still a blast (even if they were held too rate imho - there were so many cool custom clan marks which would've looked awesome ingame) and I'm thankful that I could've been a part of that by judging a few games. Huge shoutout to the S5 community that tried to bring S4 to another (structured) level hosting Leagues with many teams participating even with existing rivalries. Every single player/team taking part in that big project has contributed to keep S5 alive for such a long time. All FPs, Clothes, Weapons and Level Progress are lost but the memories that S4 created for all of us still exist - forever. Thank you all!
Never got to play the game as I never grew up with it, but I'm glad there's people that want to bring it back in a way. Code Zin looks to be the closest thing I can get to experience S4 League.
Whether you love it or hate it, S4 League was a really unique game despite its flaws left and right. It's just sad that a lot of Korean games in general that released around that time tend to develop their game by making it worse overtime especially for free users. I still do miss this games from time to time. Maybe the spiritual successor can scratch my itch a little (or a lot, preferably). Also, I love knocking people away with hammer. Sorry if anyone got mad at me lol.
Thank you all for giving great moments to us. You make me feel another nostalgia with this video and another thanks for that. I hope we met up another universe while we play S4, mate 🥲
Bro I've missed you so much ;; WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN UP TO LATELY??? 🥺 That video gave me so much nostalgia man... also I lost my shit at 2:07 LMAOOO It's seriously so sad, that it had to end like this. I always thought S4L had so much potential considering how unique the movement is with the ability to walljump and dodge mid-air. The Hackers and P2W aspect really ruined it so much lol. Also I hate that almost everyone switched to swords only. 😔 I really can't get myself to try the private servers. Uweehh the end really made me sob a bit. I miss the old times. TT I still got so many old screenshots I look back to sometimes

12:19 real. The reason i want to play S4 is Chaser mode because im not really good at TD/DM(DM is okay to me). the private server i have ever play only have TD/DM. really rare or even none of them opening chaser mode.
Ngl, that latency was the reason i gave up on the game. I did enjoy it and came back to it once or twice from nostalgia but ultimately just left it alone. That and the hackers, I thought I just sucked until i found people stationary at the top of the map in the skybox. yeah that was a thing. I appreciate the art work too. The concept art and in game visuals were pretty mindblowing to me at the time, with the fashion and all that. Reminded me of Hyung Tae Kims art. Not sure if he did art with this game but it does feel like his style but eh, either way, arts appreciated. Needless to say, this game was part of my youth for a time. I wish it could return in the modern landscape, maybe be reintroduced to a newer audience with a fresh coat of paint. Who knows. Post viewing edit: I had typed up this comment as I was watching. Got to the end and just now heard of this "Code ZIN" game. So I guess I can check that out. Great video btw.
I didn't play it that much myself, only for a little time during 2010 and 2011, but I still get some pretty big nostalgia for it. And I gotta say, this game felt really ahead of its time for a 2007 game, in both the good ways and bad ways. It looks like something that should normally have come out like 10 years later.
This and GunZ were my favorite games to play back in the days. These and games like Lineage 2, Silkroad, LaTale and Elsword, were all such flawed but still fun experiences to go through. I really have fond memories of all of them, especially when playing them with friends.
It's been a long time, Exo! Great at content creation as per usual. I miss the Riukin series! I almost can't even recognise my voice anymore lmao. Hope you're doing well!
S4league, Freejack, zone4 fight district, rumble fighters, and micro volts makes me wish I was older at the time. I was too too young to figure out what to do.

s4 always felt fun to actually control, didnt go to much into it because how obvious the p2w stuff was and it just not worth long term. but i do remember a couple of times somehow impressing people who spent a obvious tone of time on the game because of how well i could handle things with base gear. like actually winning 1v1s vs them at a sumwhat consistent rate.
I was playing Gunfire Reborn just now, started singing "We Built this City" and thought "Games should let you import songs to make your own playlists" Then I suddenly flash backed to this game WHICH USED TO LET YOU DO THAT! It was like playing through your own AMV! I swear I unlocked a core memory.

I hold this game very close to my heart cause yeah, it was part of my childhood being one of the first online games i kinda put a lot of time into.
I did get tired of Station-2 and remember how we used to call it the "real deal"
..i remember when i used to hack and give myself different costumes and whatnot (yet they would keep their F2P stats).
to this day there isn't really anything like it.. i played GunZ / GunZ 2 but even so it was not the same and felt a lot more stiff (no offense)
the fact that people still keep it alive and remember it even if they don't play makes me happy.
..Now if only we could do the same for other dead MMOs..
Anyways i'm sorry for the wall of text, i love this game way too much i could keep yapping..
Hello ex-GM here (GM-Zen, maybe some of you remember me) and very old player back from alaplaya, just giving my thoughts on the game overall:
- The premium stat items became less problematic with time, there were quite a few events where getting a set would be pretty easy, that's why most people were running around with one to begin with.
Oh shit I remember the name. That was forever and a half ago! Thanks for your input. :)
Were The knife and the dual chained blade still annoying?
@@hoanguyenxuan4219 Not really, these weapons were clearly balanced around guns gameplay. The game was never balanced around sword only so I can see why those players would have a problem with those.
@@S4Fullsupport I can still feel the frustration when they spammed the right click. Man! But those were the good time! Play S4 league and Gunz on potato computer after school days hit different fam :((
not giving a sh about the video game is what killed it Lmao people still play it till this day haha wdym due to the lack of content. No bugs were ever fixed the server capacity was never adjusted all they did care about was money
didn't expect you to show up . Great video, good nostalgia trip
Mach weiter LEGENDE
Great video, kinda feels sad you didn't talk about christmas/halloween event etc. Was very fun and the rewards you could get etc
three things i wanted to say:
for me, i wasnt an aestethics player, so i just made a new account at some point and tried to get with the starting pen + tutorial a premium set through the pen capsules. if i didnt get one, i made a new account until i got it, or even until i got a premium weapon like the puppy revolver too. that was a good way to get some premium stats as a f2p early on.
second: the esper chips were really broken, one of them gave your revolver 2 more ammunition, so instead of 7 you had 9 shots, and after a couple of years they removed the system (as far as i remember) but didnt remove the esper chips. so oldschool players had an advantage over you if you didnt get them or started playing later on.
third, even more broken was the F Skill, i dont know if you ever saw it, but there were 3 types: a extra dash, a 1shot laser with like 1 minute cooldown or getting close to unkillable with the same amount of cooldown.
me as a rusher used the F Skill with the Dash function.
all 3 extra skills were completely broken, but the dash skill did make alot of fun because it would blend in perfectly as a rusher, because it canceled all other movement and went straight ahead with a mini dash. important: its not a skill like anchor, it was extra. keybind was on "F", thats why F Skill.
the problem is that it was really really expensive to get, over hundreds of thousands of pen.
Thats why u see at 12:15 every room having "nf" meaning "no f skills allowed" as a description. but this was mostly on only sword rooms.
I had a feeling eSper chips & the F skills were fucked up
I still have "Come On" and more songs on many of my playlists to this day. I miss this thing.
Thanks for the memories 🥹 See you on Zin 💯
Seeing this video on my front page was a critical hit to my nostalgia. Truly a well-executed Touch Down.
Yeah, that's something, regardless of that, the hackers, the shitty p2w fully implemented system that the game had going on, I still feel like **NO OTHER GAME GAVE ME THAT EXPERIENCE**
the feeling of belonging to a community, to know the mechanics, to this day I still think of those stair jumps to reach the score, and blowing the bridge up, that was fun too, thanks for bringing a slice of my past back :)
I still listen to some of the OSTs from this game TO THIS DAY!
I loved to use Sentry, Block, and heal teammates, which the other team fucking hated since almost no one used support LMFAO
I wanted to share just how busted enchanting got.
Wave of nostalgia :'(
and that "a7a" part XDDDD
Wow, a blast from the past. A lot of memories tied to S4 League. Such a unique game and community too. A shame it couldn't keep up and made all those p2w changes.
The Riukin series were especially memorable as I got to voice one of the characters. I think the name was Allen, small role but fun regardless. A unique opportunity for sure! But looking back I do cringe a little at my teenage voice. Great to see you drop a video was a nostalgic trip for sure!
Ayy so good to hear from you again :)
@@ex0blast0r Yeah it has been quite a while for sure haha
Planning to make more videos?
@@jayx399 Nothing's set in stone but we'll see!
S4 League and Ghost X were my ultimate childhood online games. Most of my online fond memories were from those games. I'll miss them for the rest of my life.
Especially GhostX. GOD so much fun with that game!
bro the beginning hit me different as I did the tutorial soo freaking often as kid. Anchoring Noobs unite!
Still, I have some cool memories :D
The old UI reminded me of another futuristic game, Space Rangers 2 (which I still kind of love) and what I'll call now: Frutiger Aero.
I started playing S4 league on a 2004 PC with a bad GeForce graphics card, but because it was weak, it produced a huge, increasing in side Square around the sniper gun, which gave me uncanny advantage - I could see the snipers from afar :D
Very unfortunately, the players only wanted to play only on S4 League's "de_dust2" maps: either Station-2 or Neden-1.
I remember that in one level, you could win by failing :D Flirt servers were weird AF, it was basically s...x roleplay
Regarding cheating - it was super annoying, but at some point, I became a cheater myself :D .
I really wish it came out
Thank you S4 League for fun memories!
Oh my god, exo! I watched your vids when I was a kid, seeing your name pop up on my feed again is wild.
Haven't heard of Code ZIN until now, I'm really interested now.
9:11 Hey that's me! :D (The guy recording not hacking lol)
But thanks for the reminding me of some good memories!
Playing s4 league in e-cafes with buddies one-twice a week was probably some of the most fun times of my life, great video!
great video, but I wanted to give you massive thanks for letting me know of the existence of code zin
bro i miss this game :(
Good vid! Passed a few aspects but the point is there. A game to remember for sure! Looking for more content very soon.
Love learning about these 2000s era games this elsword, Gunz etc.
My memberberries... I think last time I played was around 2010, but I started at launch.. I barely remember the title.
Thank you for making this vid!
It's been decades and a7a still makes me giggle.
Lovely to hear your voice after all that time
Glad you're still around, Sternchen!
Hope you've been doing well! ❤
im really hyped for Code ZIN!
Ahhh, what a trip down memory lane. Even though it was pretty janky sometimes, I miss S4 League. Thanks for making this video!!
Bro, this and GunZ was my jam back then!
ex0 making a video in 2024??? Holy shit im feelin nostalgic.
i got banned until 2025, i was close to being released from prison but wasnt meant to be
that right now threw me back more than 10 years in time...holy shit. that was when i was new to basicly highschool...good times :D
🥺 That video gave me so much nostalgia man... also I lost my shit at 2:07 LMAOOO
It's seriously so sad, that it had to end like this. TT I still got so many old screenshots I look back to sometimes
glad to know ur still around Ari :) hope you've been doing great
@@ex0blast0r I will always be around!! QQ If you ever wanna catch up, let me know. I miss you so much! I'm doing good, life is going on afterall! ♥ Hopefully life has been treating you good as well!
Man I remember playing this way back in my "play any F2P MMO you can find" days, along with Air Rivals and FlyFF, great video!
Man my friends and i would play this game every day all day if we could. it was so bad at one point we skipped a few days of school just to play. I miss this game and exteel so much man its insane.
i remember playing that game on the main central computer at the living room
as an old player, nostalgia hits me hard
S4 league really brought up memories
now I just wanna do some chaser and touchdown again!
Ran home after school to play this for hours. Such a good time. Still remember some really good matches.
I see s4 league i watch. I miss the game wish it was more popular amazing artist panaman rip
Gute alte Zeit... Vermisse ich voll.
Hab auch von fast Anfang an gespielt. So viel gesuchtet... 🙃
Oh my god I agree with every single point in this video, I miss the good old s4 league days, and I hope Code Zin improves where S4 failed :')
Great video btw.
love this video, miss this game a lot played it when i was young with my friends. s4league, 4story, fiesta online man that were those times
I miss the old times, well made video 😄
7:04 OKAY, what song plays here??
S4 League - Dual Rock, the track from Captain Mode release
I didn't play it that much myself, only for a little time during 2010 and 2011, but I still get some pretty big nostalgia for it. And I gotta say, this game felt really ahead of its time for a 2007 game, in both the good ways and bad ways. It looks like something that should normally have come out like 10 years later.
HAHHAH Man I missed you. Welcome back!
I've been doing great, hope you're good as well!!
Man the nostalgia is hitting hard
S4league, Freejack, zone4 fight district, rumble fighters, and micro volts makes me wish I was older at the time. I was too too young to figure out what to do.
0:53 I had no idea the Supersonic song in DJMAX actually came from another game by the same publisher
I’ve never played or even heard of S4 League until this video popped into my recommendations, but as soon as that song played I was like “yo wth that’s Supersonic!” lol.
I dunno if the ost is still for sale in itunes but thanks to that i still get to listen to the first ever song i heard from s4l and one of my favourites, Supersonic
Yooo I used to play this when I was a kid! I remember when Ophelia first came out. Being chaser and using the chained daggers was fun.
that game was my childhood. no words to describe what I feel .
s4 always felt fun to actually control, didnt go to much into it because how obvious the p2w stuff was and it just not worth long term. but i do remember a couple of times somehow impressing people who spent a obvious tone of time on the game because of how well i could handle things with base gear. like actually winning 1v1s vs them at a sumwhat consistent rate.
I was playing Gunfire Reborn just now, started singing "We Built this City" and thought "Games should let you import songs to make your own playlists"
Then I suddenly flash backed to this game WHICH USED TO LET YOU DO THAT! It was like playing through your own AMV!
I swear I unlocked a core memory.
and then they broke it and didn't fix it for years... if ever, i don't actually know...
@@MTEllipsis yeah. That kind of killed it for me
I was a kid when i played that game. I woke up at a school night at 2am to play S4 before school. I got my ass beat cuz of that. Had so much fun and someone even gifted me his old acc so i could play on it. He had bough some things and i was so happy to have skins for my stuff. Life was good when i was 13
