Great video, thanks for sharing.....they are a brilliant safety feature without question, it's just a shame they cost more than replacing the actual 2 tires if needed. I am all about safety, and most likely will end up installing these on our motorhome, it's just frustrating what the suppliers charge for some things (that's my rant....LOL). Keep up the great videos! travel safe!
I agree with you on the pricing. Until there’s a lot more competition the price will continue to be high. I think the RV industry as a whole over charges people. Thanks for watching!
Did the total cost of $4300 include purchasing aluminum rims? Did you replace the 2 steer tires as well? If so, do you have an itemized breakdown? I think it was a good choice to get this system. Thanks for sharing.
$4300 was the cost of the Rettrobands including the installation. The rims were an additional $1300 for a total of $5600. Our tires were only two years old so we didn’t do new tires. Thanks for watching!
Good job and good video. I have seen how well the Rettrobands work. Now you need to plan on attending the NIRVC customer appreciation rally. Next year it will be at Texas Motor Speedway by Fort Worth Texas. Are you members of AIM?
You said it cost you $4,300 but was that just the two Retrobands or was it the new rims and tires you had to get as well? I'm already saving up to convert all my wheels and tires from steel R22.5 to aluminum R24.5 which is going to cost almost $5k as is. I can't afford Retrobands if they're over $4k. However, if they bands themselves are
Just the Rettrobands are $4300. Our rims were $1300 on top of that. Our tires were only 2 yrs old, so we kept our tires. We agree, that's a lot of money for just the retrobands & install of them. That's why we chose safety instead of renovation for 2024. We couldn't do both. Thanks for your great question!
Tire blowouts on RV are very dangerous. Can lead to serious injury or even death. Glad u shared this.

Thank you. We aren’t members of AIM. We will have to look into that.

this is something that the US Military has had for many years now but, they called them "run-flats"
There’s a few different companies that make similar products like these. There’s Tyron Blue, RV Safety Band.

LOUISIANA state police! No spellcheck?
It’s news footage. Apparently they don’t spellcheck.
