Some products are sold by telling you how great they are. Brett and Craig take a million-dollar coach, drive it at 70 mph, set off an explosive device in the front tire with a drop-off on the side of the road and then roll to an easy stop. Does anybody else have a product that can even come close? Give it a try and let us see. Oh yeah, the company president needs to drive and the inventor serve as navigator. Angie might even put your video on her channel, just to be fair :)). Thanks for the info. guys. Jack, Austin, Texas
WOW! When the CEO literally puts his own life on the line to demonstrate his product, that’s really putting your money where your mouth is! Amazing device and demo. And nice driving, Brett!
Awe, that means a LOT coming from the two of you! Thank you both for taking the time to watch, and then leaving such a nice comment. I really appreciate it. Just made my day! All the best Peter and John, Brett
Hello my friends, this is probably the best lifesaving video I’ve seen in years. Even though I cannot afford a beautiful coach like that I think you did a wonderful job of protecting the people that can. Stay safe
That's an awesome product. I used to be a trucker in the seventies and eighties. I didn't have power steering and I. Had a? Front right blow out going up the grapevine in California. Luckily I had enough road cause When the tire Blew out it shot The truck to a hard right turn luckily. I was holding on pretty good when I was going up the hill. I sure wish staying with a head one of those back when I was driving. My son has a motor home I'm gonna have him check this out. I'm sure he'll want one Set.
Great video! Very informative!!! I am blown away that the owner of the company demo’d this…and on a very expensive brand new motorhome. Wow…very impressed. The more and more I follow your channel and research your company…the more we are leaning to give you our business. Will be trading in soon to a DP. Thank you again! Keep the videos coming please! Steve from Michigan.
The military band is designed for the tires on the military vehicles and there is a difference to the street tires. The LMTV at 20-25,000 pounds has a top speed of 50-55 MPH and is more likely to go slower on a rough road. That 365 Michelin is designed to handle more weight and higher speed but still give decent rolling for fuel economy. The retroband is a much better design for the coach.
Very impressive video. Clearly, your CEO doesn't just talk-the-talk, he walks-the-walk with this demonstration. It seems that RettroBand is a must-have, not a nice-to-have safety item for any class-A or Super-C.
You have me convinced, I think I was already convinced the first time around but we don't have our motorhome yet. Is this for gas as well as diesel motorhomes? The only negative comment I have heard so far is from a gentleman that says he could not keep his tires balanced. Perhaps that is the reason for version 2? I am still waiting for your Chicago burbs sales/shop/RV storage facility so I can visit our son for a month in April and November between our camp hosting and snowbirding activities. -Dave & Sheila
@@jackyoungguncahill good points, most of the ones I have looked at are aluminum, they don't make a diesel short enough for most of our camp hosting assignments & also the concessionaire only brings you had for your generator, which over 6 months gets expensive to the host even though we have around 600 watts of solar. Those of us too early for social security don't RV for pleasure, it is a lifestyle of work & play. I'll keep the aluminum in perspective if a diesel doesn't fall into our lap, sir.
@@KU9L also keep in mind as of right now I think our smallest band is a 255R but that’s to the best of my knowledge! So just make sure the coach you acquire has that size or bigger!
Good evening Jake, Thank you for taking the time to watch our Rettroband video, and then leaving a comment. We really appreciate it! Rettroband is every bit as effective on Semi’s, and in my opinion, especially needed on “cab- over” or cab forward Semi’s, and box trucks. We have blown tires at speed on both. In fact, watch for a similar video on semi’s as we introduce this product to the truck and bus markets next year. All the best, Brett Davis
Great video and it proves true leadership when owners "have skin in the game". Thank you! Question: what was the damage on the MH they were driving, I see something underneath the motorhome that came loose, but is it hard to see well what it is.
I had a blowout last year and luckily kept my coach upright. I’ve been trying to get them for a year and they are finally being installed at the Lewisville store today. When I get new front tires in the future will the average tire shop know how to deal with them?
If I had Brett and Craig's money I'd throw mine away! Jokes aside, What a great invention! Does the insertion of the device have any effect on getting the tire to be properly balanced?
That’s putting one’s money where one’s mouth is!. If you believe in a product, you will some how find a way to prove that product works and is worth the cost to be safe….
They probably only go on the front wheels. However a blow out on the rear wheels won’t cause you to go off the road since the rear wheels don’t affect steering. But if the front tires blow out, it will be catastrophic.
angie wife and i have a couple questions 1. does the rettroband make it harder to balance the tire? 2. how far can you go on rettroband after a blow out? TIA (BTW we love your videos
Awe, thank you for watching my videos, and leaving my such I nice comment. I really appreciate it! Rettroband doesn’t affect the balancing of the tire at all. 3 to 8 ounces is all we’ve ever had to add, which is the same amount of weight tires required without Rettroband. Good question. We’ve been asked how far you can drive on Rettroband after a blowout many times. I suppose the real answer is however far you’re willing to let the blown tire beat your coach. In 2021 we tested to see how far we could continue at speed after a blowout, and we stopped after 12 miles, because the remains of the blown tire were just beating the coach to death. However, the Rettroband showed very little wear. Remember, Rettroband is made from much, much, much harder rubber than is the tire. Bottom line, you will easily be able to maintain control of your coach after a blowout, and get to a safe place off the road.
Thank you for watching our video and posting your question. No, you only need Rettrobands on your two steer tires. A blowout on one of your front tires is where all the danger is.
Good morning John, Thank you for taking the time to watch our video. We really appreciate it! There’s really two questions in your question I need to answer. First, yes, Rettroband fits on all 22.5 inch wheels. Second, what is the size of your tire? Rettroband has sizes to fit tires from 225 all the way up to 365. I check the size of your tires, and if they’re 225 are bigger, and on a Mountain Aire I suspect they are, then we do a have Rettrobands designed and tested for your size. I hope this helps, Brett Davis
People will say I can replace my tires multiple times for the cost of Rettrobands. Well guess what? I can't replace my life or my wife's life multiple times so I'm getting them. You're not comfortable spending the equivalent of a used golf cart vs. veering off the road?? Really?? Did you all see the outcome of the poor family of 5 who lost their lives in a front end blow out on I-81 in PA?? I've seen enough video's of RV blow outs. I've seen enough videos of "don't hit the brakes...accelerate"...yeah, right good luck with that in an emergency situation as your veering off the road! Take my money...please!!

This is definitely something the trucking industry needs to invest into. It could save a lot of lives and save money on destruction to rims too.
With our new 2022 Newmar Dutch Star that we purchased from NIRVC-Lewisville, This was the first item we had installed on our coach.
Great demonstrative video! I wouldn't want an RV without this life saving device
Thanks nate! We think so too!
Thank you Angie. I made my appointment for later this month. I need the peace of mind that this brings to my family. Keep up the good work!
You won’t regret your decision! I saw it first hand and I’ve seen the coaches towed into our locations after a front end blowout.
Pretty amazing. I’ve lived through an inner rear blow out, which wasn’t a big deal but having a front blow is always a fear.
Now this is something truly amazing!

We can’t wait to get these (they were not available in March in Vegas)…on the list for NIRVC Atlanta in October!
OUTSTANDING Safety Video, all new coaches should be equipped with RETTROBANDS.

It’ll only work on a gasser class A if you have aluminum wheels. Steel wheels will not work which is what most gas chassis have!
