Dear FIORELLO & ZACH, Hi to you two. When you said something about if someone was interested in bus/van (?) conversions and came across this video - welcome, you were talking to me. I fell in love with tiny homes on wheels (THOWS) when I saw my first video about them. For a while, I just watched the ones about the wooden ones on trailers; but then I branched out to trailers, campers, vans and buses. I just enjoyed seeing all the different people, and was amazed at how many of them actually did their own conversions. As I am a single, 77 yr old, disabled (scoliosis - with a painful, twisted back) woman, I knew I could never do the conversion myself, and I wouldn't be able to do much traveling, as a 160 mile drive (I'm still driving and will continue to drive as long as I don't endanger anyone.) leaves me useless for the next 24 hours. But, I want to sell my 1,200 square foot condo - single level, with front and back gardens. One reason is that I can now only care for about 300 sq ft. Another reason is that I'm still in debt, after 22 years of making payments. I've decided that a trailer is not what I want. As I'm now 4'11" (was 5'2"), I'm thinking a mid sized/mid height gasoline van (Ford Transit, or GMC, etc.) would be perfect for me and my cat and smallish dog. Wish me luck. Your are both adorable. I've subscribed and will be following your channel and you guys. I am eager to see what your upcoming changes will be. Please take care, be well and safe, and enjoy every minute of your lives. Namaste and hugs
Hello Alice, Wow thank you so much for sharing that and for your beautiful words. There are so many amazing options out there that can fit any situation! If you ever want to send us an email at hello@amoraventura.com with any specific questions or anything we would love to help! Sending you so much love and positive energy 🖤✨
Ya know, I kinda like it. Don’t go too crazy ‘cause all that little shit adds character. It’s yours, own it and be proud because it’s a lot nicer than the bus we don’t have. Our bus is still a dream. Happy trails, cheers!
This was the most refreshing and encouraging bus tour video ever! You guys are so real and down-to-earth and relatable; for the first time, we've actually wanted to "follow" any one particular skoolie couple. Cutest line ever: "We love how dirty it is." :) SO refreshing to see and hear a skoolie couple who aren't trying to showcase an immaculate "model home." A real home for real people. Keep on keeping it real! :D
Cassandra! You have no idea how much this means to us and how happy it made us to read your comment! Thank you for taking time to share this with us. We like to foster transparency and just the real messy things, we are truly happy knowing it resonated with you. All the best ❤️
Was getting a bit worried bout you guys... Glad you're back... Stay safe and healthy 🙏😘 One more thing, you can use gloss white paint for your painted surfaces, very easy to keep clean, just a damp rag and no more dirt.. 👍👍👍
This helped me as i start my bus build and get frustrated. It is sometimes hard to not compare your bus to the glamorous ones you see online. Your bus is awesome and i appreciate the vid! What are the panels you used for the ceiling finish?
Stop apologizing for "the mess." Real people have areas of messiness. Some bus tours are so perfect that they look like no one lives there. I really like the layout and all the light you have coming in. Your style is fun too. The best part though is just the way you two enjoy being together.
"This is the easiest drawer to open" *Struggles to open it* HAHAHA love it! I definitely understand the struggle of finishing the smallest of projects... my brain refuses to make them a priority.
Y'all remind me so much of my husband and I. My husband would be like "I'm a horrible husband" like yours and I would be bitching about the cabinets. We are currently in South Korea traveling but are coming back to the states in November and are going to start our built then. Would love to take inspiration from you!
That’s awesome and sounds so fun!!! So exciting and that means so much to us! Do you guys have a rig already or are you going to buy one when you get back?!
@@growingslowandwild We don't have one yet but are buying one when we come back. Unless I can convince my dad to go look at some for us. I think we are leaning more towards school buses because that's just so cool. It's nice to see another couple that does UA-cam, too. Although, we are much more newbie than yall!
