I used to do this when I was a kid. Not to the same standards lol but the exact same concept. Back when kids could play by themselves in the woods. Magical.
My cousin and I built a lean to, complete with a stone fire place, in the woods behind his house. We went to stay in it overnight after hours of convening my uncle that we wouldn’t die. When we tried to light the fire, the wood was too wet and did not want to light. Then while we were shivering trying to sleep, something came stomping around the outside making a lot of noise and grunting and snorting. We thought is was probably a deer but there was some weird growling with the grunts, we thought it was my uncle trying to scare us. We heard it walk away dealerships into the woods and down over a the hill. It was snapping branches in a section of small dead saplings. We decided to make an exit out the back, behind the “fire place”, because that side was closer to the house. We stumbled out of the wood at about half speed, using a very bad flashlight to avoid trees. It was and getting cold and the moon was covered by thick clouds. We made it to the first of two hay fields and kicked it into high gear. My cousin was way faster than I was but I’m pretty sure we were side by side the whole way back. There was a fence that separated the fields and then another between the second field and his back yard. I don’t even remember seeing them. Hell, we may have jumped clean over them for all I know. They were 4’ tall and I can’t jump and I don’t remember climbing either fence. We got to the back door of the porch and tried to control our breathing before going in looked back towards the field, trying to see if someone or something that was in the woods might have chased us. We convinced ourselves that it was most assuredly, my uncle took deep breaths, and then quickly went into the back porch, then into the main house. We both laughed at how bad my uncle had scared us and we were going to wait until he came in to let him know. We were both in the middle of drinking out second big glass of water while standing next to the heater vent when we heard the distinctive sound of my uncles snoring coming from his bedroom. We both looked at each other and ran into my cousins bedroom. His little brother woke up and told us to be quiet.then asked why we were back. We told him and the three of us decided to stay up the rest of the night. Well we fell asleep about an hour later and when we woke up for breakfast we were asked how it went. We just said it was cold and we came back because the wood was wet. We found out a few years later we had work my uncle and aunt up running into the bedroom and they heard us telling his little brother about our “adventure” and didn’t want to seem like they were making fun of us so they didn’t say anything. A few weeks after our expedition there were sightings of a very large black bear two or three miles south of where we were. So we decided right then, the next time we would build it stronger so we wouldn’t have to worry if the bear came back. Needless to say, my aunt over ruled all future plans for construction projects in the woods.

What a great idea! I love it. Enjoy!! This is very nostalgic for me. As kids, we ran the woods. Tree houses, club houses, we made bows and arrows with the arrowheads we found. A great use of natural resources, for a temporary shelter. Very creative and whimsical. I like the tiny stove, I don't think I have seen a portable wood stove so small, great idea for survival in the woods.
What? You mentionned "A great use of natural resources, [...]". Did you see the amount of cordage spent, all the wasted aluminium foil and the use of plastic bottle... I have to totally disagree with you.
@@CplcDesbiens In the olden days cordage was made from natural fibers. Wet leaves were used instead of aluminum foil. Etc. Water bladders were made from internal organs. It is really realistic to duplicate all that?
@@CplcDesbiens It depends... This was a well done demo of a shelter-build-plus modern amenities. Since this was merely a demonstration of a shelter option, then no, he doesn't need to recreate them. However, if he was trying to show absolute survival reality, then probably yes, he should recreate them. In a real survival situation, there probably wouldn't be those modern amenities and he *would* have to craft them. (There also probably wouldn't be pumpkins growing in the woods like edible mushrooms. Yummmmm=;^),

I co powstanie? Baśniowa wioska hobbitów? Smerfów? Krasnali? 😂😁😁😁
What a great idea! I love it. Enjoy!! This is very nostalgic for me. As kids, we ran the woods. Tree houses, club houses, we made bows and arrows with the arrowheads we found. We were doing bush craft at 6 yo. In the 70’s. I miss having a house in the woods. Very peaceful and great for raising a family.
Wow, I've never seen a shelter like this before. Amazing !!
🔥🔥🔥
Нора Хоббіта😅
Imagine being foraging out in the woods and coming across this gem! 😍🥰
와우!! 이런 방법은 처음 봄. 멋있음 😮🎉
Are you kidding me? How amazing is this build?? Awesome! This young man is beyond creative!
In my country, learn from the author. Indiscriminate cutting and destroying the country's protected native plant environment is tantamount to a crime. The Forest Service will impose fines and you may be arrested and imprisoned. If you damage the native plant environment, you must apply in advance to avoid penalties.
I take months making a counted crosstich beautiful piece. I love and appreciate how careful he is in keeping his edges neat. So much strength without a perfectly physique body. My arms would have been helpless after the first half hour. God bless you. Thank you for showing us what can be done with a plan and guts.🎉😊
There are so many channels on UA-cam doing bushcraft and all sort of this kind of things. But not that many can achieve what you and few very good channels do. I really enjoy your videos, found your channel by mistake and it's so funny when you do the pigs "attacks" 😂 They bring a smile on my face and a good laugh. Keep doing what you are doing! ❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Świńskie ataki"? Co to? To mój pierwszy przypadkowo włączony filmik więc nie znam innych jego filmików...
@@Galileon1 the wild boars, didn't you see them in the video? 😅 they are really funny. It's better than a bear attack 🤣
Un-frickin’-believable ….AMAZING BUILD…!!
My words ;)
Everyone should like and subscribe
I mean he put alot of effort I've seen so much videos he sacrifise his self
Just for the viewers and God bless this guy and y'all too.
I did! New subscriber!
Tea and Mr. Wilson that’s all one needs 😊
There is a lot of people saying that these bushcraft videos are fake but I tried so hard but I couldn’t find anything remotely fake, god bless you😊🙏
The stuff he took from pond like the "clay" he swapped it out with premixed concrete. You can see it looks much different from the stuff he took out of the pond compared to when he dropped it after carrying it back to the tree.
@@jtpalma23 nice catch
the one common thing they all do, someone already mentioned. When they use mud or whatever and mix it with twigs. Thats not how that works in reality.
@@fermentedpear2704 That's exactly how it works, actually.
@@jtpalma23 And how do you suppose he avoids burning his skin with the highly caustic cement?
I absolutely love that you made foraged cream of mushroom soup in that wee pumpkin! I'm over here like 😭❤
This is on a whole other level than most of this kind of content.
Really admirable this cerativity.

Now THAT’S what I call a tree house - absolutely brilliant!! Very original, and respectful of nature - I'm sure the moss will thrive! 5* from me. ❤
Utterly breathtaking!

I love men. I love how there is no wondering if they like the meal. I love how they have fun. I love how they can appreciate nature and peace.
I never imagined such a thing was possible! Wonderful!

Какой молодец, даже технику обмазыван ия знает, значит жил в деревне @@diegoacostaclips
By far the most epic build on UA-cam...probably the internet.
The innocent joyful clap at 31:49
😂😊the reward for today's effort is in there...
the reward of my tenacity lies in this humble "self-applause"😊😂🫡😌😌
I do this too when I'm happy or excited and don't want to be noisy or a nuisance. Was gonna leave my own comment, but I'm glad someone else pointed it out. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing someone else doing it for once. XD
This is so cool I would want to have this in my backyard 😊 it is so cool
It looks like a big poop bag when he carries the mud
Das ist ein Kunstwerk!👍 Und diese großen Moosplatten! Wahnsinn!
I can't believe this channels thumbnails are all legit! Most aesthetic bushcraft builds Ive ever seen!
@@CplcDesbiens Did you also witness that he also wore CLOTHES?
@@CplcDesbiens It depends... This was a well done demo of a shelter-build-plus modern amenities.
Since this was merely a demonstration of a shelter option, then no, he doesn't need to recreate them.
However, if he was trying to show absolute survival reality, then probably yes, he should recreate them.
In a real survival situation, there probably wouldn't be those modern amenities and he *would* have to craft them.
(There also probably wouldn't be pumpkins growing in the woods like edible mushrooms. Yummmmm=;^),
Jealous my friend comes to mind 😂@CplcDesbiens
I love watch wideo like this when i slowly getting sleep 😇
One of the most unique and creative shelters I’ve seen and I love watching these type of videos. Amazing work.
How he keeps his hands so clean is more amazing than what he's building.
i was going to say the same thing....clothes clean as well
I thought the same
Especially when he is mixing & patting the mud mixture onto the wooden structure😜🤣
Well build, beautiful shelter, well built beautiful guy, warm delicious food and hot stove, what more can you ask for. 🥰
We had lots of hide outs in 1970s in WA state & dirt bike riding. Cool fort 😎 the pumpkin reminds me of my doctor LOL 😆
Brak mi słów, dla wyrażenia PODZIWU . Brawo. 💐❤
