The young woman who owns the pink bus is the reason why I watch videos like Tiny House! So nice to see talented, very together young people doing their thing, which without UA-cam I would probably not even know about.
Me too. I didn't even know about tiny houses until I discovered UA-cam lol
What an amazing shuttle bus now I think I want one. 😊
@@maryfolks9368lmao, do you live under a rock?
@Mary Folks, rock on! 🪨👍I have recently rediscovered this channel, a real good vibe.
@@linak7155 😁🤗 I think so too. I love seeing that people can be so happy with the little things that matter. The lady in this video seems truly happy, I love that!
Such a beautiful young lady! She has created a perfect environment for herself. I’m a 75yr old lady and I enjoy living my life vicariously through young woman like this. God bless you.
74 and right there with you!
75 and I agree!
74 and I was very much like this young woman back in the day but without the bus. She's an inspiration!
66 and I'm hoping for the van life !!!
I'm 70, and very impressed by this inspiring young lady! ❣️
It absolutely warms my 76-yr-old heart to see young folks like Rita "get it" at such a young age. No waiting for a traditional retirement to start living the life you deserve. I'm in love with Rita's bus; she created a home that reflects her talents, personality, and love of life. Hugs to Rita & her fur babies!
Any woman who is thriving, living life on her own terms, standing on her own two feet, whilst also being content and happy as she is...Well done! Continue on your path!
Onward and Upward! 🙂🤙🏽
Can we just get everyone thriving, living life on their own terms, standing on their own two feet while being happy and content. So many people are struggling just to breath. Too many people are busy living life according to what their parents, friends or society believes is the best or the most fruitful. Fruitful meaning the life that will bring them wealth and marriage not the one that will bring happiness. This young lady appears to be full of happiness and good energy.
@¥•SparkleGrandeYT•¥
Well said! I agree with your view as it is well-thought-out and compassionate. Which, is refreshing especially in the comments section of any social media platform these days.
Thank you for your intelligent, articulate, positive and thoughtful addition to my comment.
Have a lovely day, and please take care of yourself. 🙂🤙🏽🌸
THIS...I wanna be just like her when I grow up...WAIT, I'm 74, is there still time, of course, however, I'm that artist/gardener that has roots that travels around my beautiful, tiny yard in Florida...but you go girl and be that beacon of hope for humanity, that girls can rule...!
I'm 73, and live stationary in a toy hauler that I'm renovating. I'm a theatrical costume designer so "my studio" is an old teacher's desk from the Dallas Independent School District. If I can do it, so can you! 💗
Rita is very inspirational, her tiny home on wheels is a work of art. When she said that she would probably use "shag carpet" next time instead of her current flooring, that was funny! Thanks for sharing Rita's tiny house.
*shag carpet* 🤣🤣
Shag carpet is a real thing, but if there's one thing I learned about the English language as a kid, it's that anything at all can be turned into a euphemism for sex. :p Britain! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@eekee6034 You are correct, but that was not my first thought about her statement. Shag carpet, IMO, is awful. I understand from watching movies, that "shag" has a very different meaning when used "across the pond" aka the UK.
If only I had known of this way of life as a young woman! I struggled living in studio apartments in a crowded city. Almost always looking for boarders who trashed my apartment. This woman is doing it right! 😊
This way of life has been a thing for decades. It’s only now within the past 8-10 years (mostly because of UA-cam) it has become socially acceptable. They removed the stigma about living out of a vehicle by placing fancy names for it like “Nomadic Lifestyle” or living the “Van life” even “Tiny Home” living. Whereas in my youth it was called being poor, unfit parenting, living out of “your car because you’re homeless” or even being called “to lazy to work a normal 9-5”. I’ve also heard some people referred to as “the creeper who lives in his/ her van”. Occasionally we still here some of those make the same comments about the children being “confined to such small area”. Of course much that of was not true just like now.
Im 60 and converting my cargo van. Then Im off. I cant wait!
@@anninriverside755 making other people rich,so sad. But is never to late to learn another way os doing thinks.
Life is wonderful if we live with friends.
And she is doing that.
Keep being a sample for other people.
And enjoy you life.
This was one of the most amazing ones I've ever seen, both for everything she did to the inside but also because of how amazing SHE is. She's smart, hard-working, practical, resourceful and really cares about her dogs. Amazing!
I love this THOW. She is so artsy and happy with the lifestyle she lives. The word: 'Bohemian' pops in my head when I watched this. Love seeing such a content nomadic bus lifer.
She's got a really good vibe! Hope her travels continue to bring her joy.
She does. Such positive energy.
I'm so happy you did this video Jenna. This young lady is the type of person I wish I would of grown up to be. I would've been too intimidated to even attempt to figure out an engine from UA-cam much less the Ford Motor book😅. Very impressive. Thank you so much
So cute! It really seems to reflect her free-spirited personality. There are many tiny house builders in my area, some for as little as $7K. Also there are tiny house communities, many available to low income and unhoused folks that they can get into for next to nothing. One church runs a couple of communities that are beautifully maintained, mostly by the proud residents. Some even helped build them.
Thanks for sharing! Where area are these communities, builders located?
Where is this location that had tiny homes for $7k? Just a general area, not asking for latitude and longitude. 😅 I’ll do my research for sure, been looking for affordable tinies for 2 years!!
@@MyMoneyTree_ Eugene, Oregon. I guess that price is from 2020. Probably much higher now.
it's cute and cozy! the house door, curtains, sink, food hammocks and that milennial pink won me over!
It's so great seeing young people do their own thing, enriching their knowledge base while utilizing their own talents in the process of creating a very freeing lifestyle. Kudos! Much respect to this young lady and for what she has accomplished! I love that bus.
BTW, not all vinyl flooring is susceptible to water damage. I had a friend who completely covered her floors with waterproof vinyl planks, but first, she took a sample and submerged it in water over a period to be sure. It passed the test. You can get durable waterproof planks if you do more research.
This person's house is perfect, just perfect. Every square inch just tells us who the owner is. I have seen hundreds of bus designs, but for this person this might be the perfect one. Very inspiring, I just hope my home is as much like me as this is like her some day.
I doubt I'll achieve it.
Have faith in yourself 👍

YOU have to BELIEVE!
YOU can do whatever you put your MIND TO!
@@kevinhasker Yes, have faith in God and in yourself! 🙏🥰
@@jodybogdanovich4333 I think you guys don't quite understand. Of course I will work to make my home on wheels my own, and I expect I will do a great job, but their is just the touch of art about what she has done. An amazing synthesis that I know from watching many UA-cam videos is beyond most of our abilities--and I bet she didn't even think about it.
It is not that I doubt my own abilities, it is that she has achieved something that is transcendental.
Love how Rita lives her life! What an amazing and creative woman. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love her and her pink bus 🚐 she is a whole vibe so inspiring and I love her dogs and how she built a wheelchair for a opposium 🐁🐕🐾💕💞💕
...an opossum*...😊😊
Very nice ...I was surprised to see actual kitchen tiles in a mini-bus setup!
I LOVE Wilbur! What a cool colour. I love the extra doors and the fact that she has an art studio space too! These young women who do this totally ROCK!
Rita’s bus has always stood out to me as an artist! I’ve saved a couple tours of her rig as inspiration for my own 🖤 I love the eclectic nature of it
Such an enjoyable young woman! And she makes this transformation sound so easy. I love how she transitioned from hiding the fact that she was living out of her Jeep into "This is my Tiny Home on Wheels Life!" in her own unique style. I love how happy she is, untethered from society expectations.
Oh girl, so much in common a jeep, dogs and nomad life. It’s wonderful that you are enjoying it all. 🕊
What a lovely talented woman you are. I cant even draw a stuck man lol. I also love your love for your animals. And, great build!!
What is a stuck man???
@@GratefulOverlander typo..stick man
LOL. "Great build" could be considered a sexist remark! Sorry, I couldn't resist. 😉
Her engine knowledge and creativity for design melt together to form a very interesting and unique person! She really can do whatever she wants, and do it well. Cool build! Great dog mommy too!
Rita has great energy and creativity...great rig!
Wow, your parents raised an amazing woman. You are so positive and very independent...I love it! You remind me of my daughter, Shea!
Love your name of your bus so fitting and love the pups ❤
I love this! Thanks for sharing. I pass two small school busses that have been parked for several years in my small town. I often day dream about turning one into a home on wheels!
My favorite so far. She (and her bus) are so adorable. A true renaissance woman. Love it. 🥰🙏🏻
This girl reminds me so much of myself and my van. My van was totaled a couple years ago and im finally rebuilding a new one; this brought me so much inspiration and joy. Love this girl and this life ❤️
She’s doing this right, she’s not trying to jam kids, and other people into her wonderful living space, she’s living well. Love this for her ❤
I'm sorry about your mom. I'm enjoying your courage and the tour of your home.
This young woman is awesome. Love everything about her home and her cute dogs. Love how she showed and spoke about the sweet disabled Opossum and how it's being cared for.
Firstly, my favorite color is pink, but I would have a brighter pink for my build. I do love it though and love that outside little table by the door. It is so pretty. It is my dream to have a pink van some day soon. Since I waited until I retired, my time is kind of running out to get out on the road. All in all, I love what you have done with your bus. It is so perfectly imperfect, that makes it look loved and lived in.
Rita is a beautiful, caring young lady and her home is amazing with all her art and decor 👍
Love ur pink rig !!!!! Love the sink !!!!! Love ur art !!!! Wishing many happy yrs ahead in ur beautiful rig !!!!
Peace, love and good health to u and ur 🐕's !!!!! ✌💞🦋
This video has inched me closer to doing just this now that my kids are grown and what I do for a living is totally mobile. It's like now or never. This young lady is totally awesome.
This girl just made me happy. What a smart talented young lady.
Rita´s confidence and charisma are an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing her story.
I’m sorry, but you need recognition for changing art forever.. you’re so talented. And you have freedom to get as messy as you need without worrying about time restrictions and tidying art up too quickly... damn, I wish I was as smart as this woman. AND her art is actually really good! She thought about everything. As somebody that gave up art years ago...this video was a song for my soul. I’m so overjoyed she’s living, literally the best life possible for her. I hope more artists can build their own art freedom too. This could change the way we look at studio spaces. I’m blown away at the innovation here!
I am so sorry you lost your mom.
I love your pink bus! It's perfect!!
Your dogs are precious! I'm certain they adore traveling with you, having adventures they share, as-well-as adventures of their own!
Pursuing your art is fabulous! It can be difficult to make a living doing what you love to do, so anytime you can live the way you love, and work at a job that doesn't totally stress you out, than you are already ahead of the game!!
Oh i love this home. 😊
All those treasures and artwork.
So homely and... well
.. I'm not sure what the word is, but, yep.
Thank you!
this size is about right. big enough to feel like a home and small enough to be driveable. but if I got one , it would be green.
So Nice!! Will be very happy living in your own and colorfull atmosphere!!
You should visit our Pink House in Buenos Aires city, on board to your pink tiny home on wheels!!
Greeting from Argentina!!
I don't usually comment but I just have to say that I really admire this young woman. She is so cute and funny (shag carpet! Lol!) I'm 62 but she is giving me the incentive to try this myself. Way to go Girl! Thanks for the video and keep up the good work. Your art is so phenomenal. Hope We run into each other.
Hello love, I am so pleased that this is my very first time following you, because this is my first time seeing your beautiful pink bus. You and your bus are adorable, and I will continue to follow your pink journey with lots of Blessings. I will continue to pray for safe and careful journeys for you. God Bless love’s 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This is a phenomenal tiny bus/home. I can totally see myself living in this! I hope someday i can get myself something like this. Awesome job on living your authentic life as an artist! I actually feel like i can do this now! 💜🥰✌
I am so glad I clicked on this video. Honestly it was the pink that caught my eye as I love everything pink, but then seeing what a rad space you have created for you and your dogs has made me realize what I want to do. I want to do this.
I have the means and the time to do this now and I am gonna do it. Thank you
I’m an artist too, so it’s cool to see an artist living the van life with a full studio space set up!
What a wonderful home! I love how relaxed and comfy it is. A really fun home!
Thank you for sharing Rita's story. I was completely inspired by her and I loved her vibe. She shared a lot of good information. Her artwork is incredible and her dogs look really happy. Her bus was impressive and original. So awesome to watch over breakfast, thanks again!
I would LOVE doing this! The last several years have proven to be a test of times and call for a change in environment…missing country life too! God willing…that’ll be me soon! ‼️😊❤🙏🙌🇺🇸🙏
Love the art space, love the dogs and love Rita's energy.
I'm happy you found your bliss. I love your art. The watercolor you were doing is gorgeous and the painting of dragon so adorable. I love that you have your animals with you. But one question- where is the bathroom now??? I know you showed the outdoor shower, but hopefully you're not roaming around in the desert at night trying to find a place to put the toilet paper. Safe travels!
I wondered about the toilet thing too
My question, too!
She has such good energy! I love her bus/home! What a joy to watch
One of the first tiny houses that wasn’t spotless. She’s living her dream and that’s what’s up!!
Love💗this super cosy little home, and the fact she called the paint for the cab"rattle can paint",so much more exciting than what we call it in the UK.
Love this little pink bus!!! Thanks for sharing with us.
She is doing it while she is still young. Don't wait, it gets much harder with age.
My brother lived like this all his life, refused to pay rent just to have a place to sleep after work. He became ill and had to live in a retirement home and hated it. He passed last July at 77 but, lived the way he was happiest!
I love this! One of my very favorite tiny ideas. There's your architectural wonder, and then there is This Is Me - and I absolutely love you and Wilber. Real expression, real living. Thank you! Happy Trails!
Having all the produce and the water on show in the kitchen is both beautiful and brilliant! It's exactly what I need.
Rita is an amazing young woman! Great respect for her willingness to tackle & learn whatever task is required to accomplish what she needs. 🤩😍 Inspirational✨
Really impressive! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely LOVE what she's done with this project!!!!! I definitely feel inspired and why not?? Living in a dead end geographic area has me longing for greener pastures far, far away!!!
I love her adventurous and creative spirit! She made a perfect home for her artistic lifestyle! Well done!
Wow this is absolutely gorgeous idea! I love this pink bus 😊
I’m leaving this video feeling so inspired. Thank you ! What a warm and cozy space.
Very inspirational!! I love this cute artistic home. Definitely more up my alley 😊
So inspiring! Thank you for sharing your home with us. ❤
You did a great job on your pink bus tiny home! It is lovely and very homey, and is set up well to let you do your painting as well! Continue to enjoy your life on the road with your sweet pups! 😋
She is absolutely adorable!! It is so refreshing seeing someone who is so natural who doesn't care that her van is not picture-perfect!! I love this...and her!!!
Love Rita and love this edition of THGJ because it makes me happy and hopeful -- maybe I COULD make it happen for myself.
This is truly special, Im very happy for this woman and super inspired by her!!
Absolutely adorable. Girl you are living the dream and your doggy is so sweet!
I love you and your bus. I’m an artist too. I appreciate that you prioritized studio space. Super cute kitchen.
Absolutely loved this video. What a delight you are x
What an awesome kickass human! Loved this build and her pupparoos are so cute.
This was very fun to watch. Thank you for sharing ❤
Great attitude and a nice cozy and functional home and studio.
This is sooo awesome!! You are the model of creativity and freedom. What a beautiful life you created. ❤❤❤👏👏👏👏
Good for you. I hope you have many happy years in your schoolie. Loved your attitude.
Love the uniqueness of her home😍
the amount of love ,creativity, emotions and the art in this tiny house is just so beautiful i guess she is living my dream life
So impressed by Rita's abilities, confidence and joy to live her best life. Very blessed and a blessing to see her excel. ❤
Rita! You are just freaking awesome! Thank you for being you and sharing what you do!!!
Loved this! ❤
She is a whole vibe💯🙌🏽💯
Great job, Rita! ❤
Minimalistic, yet has everything you need! Great job & brave young lady! Love the 2 furbabies ❤
Love this! Perfectly IMPERFECT! Exactly what bus life is all about! ❤❤So tired of all these $100000 bus builds with perfect this and perfectly built that.
Enjoy your life…..it seems to fit you and what you love! And I do love the fact you care so much about your doggies and makes sure they are content and comfortable and happy. You’ve done great with the bus….the very best of luck to you and your companions…they are precious! Stay safe and please always be aware of your surroundings!
She is amazing and super ADORABLE!!
What an amazing build! What an amazing human!! Every build I’ve ever seen (hundreds), has some feature I don’t care for or they are missing something I would need to have. THIS build tho, it’s PERFECT!!! I love the shelves all over, love her kitchen area, love all the curtains…just LOVE it!!!
This is so cool! When you build your own with what you have available. I love watching these videos as it gives me ideas of what the possibilities are if I ever find the van I want and at the price I want. I had thought if I found a cargo van, I would insulate it all over and then have to hire a carpenter to cut out the wood for the walls and ceiling and sub floor but shoot, never thought of using wood from old pallets and just placing them there as in this video on the ceiling. This is what I love about watching this. This woman being an artist, I cannot think of a better way to express your creativity than being able to go wherever you want. Love it.
Love this video. This is my idea of a do-it-yourself travel bus. Love that young women are breaking the barriers doing build outs. Great job , Rita!
Love her build, she is an awesome person. Great artist.
Love your bus Rita! Living life on your own terms. I wish I would have done the same when I was younger and healthier. Glad to see you are using Tony Chachere’s seasoning. I do too. Love my Tony’s! Thanks to Jenna for featuring Rita and her cool bus. ❤
What an amazing young woman and delightful tiny home bus! Thank you.
Oh gosh, love this!! The ladder is genius!!
I love what she has done with her bus, however now that she's gotten rid of the toilet, I wondered how she manages?
Perfect imperfection! I absolutely love it! 🌸
