Love these kinds of videos Monkey. Most of us don’t get to experience this kind of stuff so please keep taking us along. Interesting to be able to compare Harley stuff in different countries through your videos!!!
My wife, son, and I went to Paris, France, in January. Found a local dealer, and when we walked in, there were 3 separate doors. One door was clothing and helmets. The second door had the bikes. The third door was the service department. When we walked up to the dealer, they had a few bikes out front. One of which was a California Highway Patrol bike. We thought that was pretty funny since we are from California.
Worked at harley engine plant and engine are completely ship overseas in pieces to be assembled. Heads and crankshaft and transmission gear sets only thing assembled
That rear fender on that orange and black fat bob? looked like it came off of an FXDR… You should do a poll of guessing what you actually do for work hahaha!!
I like when you go to different Harley Dealerships gives us a chance to see How they set their store up Compared to the united states. Stay safe over there
When I was in the military one of my missions was always to get to the HD shop. My most favorite t-shirt came from the United Arab Emirates. Literally wore that shirt out.
US Navy 1980 visit to Singapore and Rafferty's was a must stop to get a Singapore Sling. At the time I was more into beer. But I can say that I have had a Singapore Sling in Singapore.
Yeah I went to a Harley dealer in Vietnam. They were nice to me. Didn't bother me. Answered questions when I asked. Shared the prices clearly (which are INSANE there due to import taxes). I did also go to a dealer in Phoenix and test rode two bikes and the folks there seemed great as well. No BS. No fake manliness.
Way cool video! It's great to sample culture ( and Harley culture) in other countries! Thank you for sharing this! By the way, I want that Ford Everest!
When my wife and I went to the Philippines a year and a half ago, I stopped in at the other Harley-Davidson dealership in Manila. It was small compared to a lot of dealerships in the US, but it was very nice, well-stocked with bikes, and the usual clothing, etc. And the staff were wonderful. I think I remember posting in the comments on one of your other videos that I bought the only two 2XL t-shirts they had. 😂
funny you mentioned the womens shirts. Im a BIG dude and I tour quite a bit. When we stop in different cities my buddies and I will sometime rent out a "supposedly" haunted location. They never have my size, but they always have my wife's size. So my wife, who hates the paranormal stories, has the most wicked collection of tshirts and hoodies from across the US.
Man I’ve gotta say I went and rode a leftover 23’ Roadglide ST. And I rode a 24’ Roadglide, long story short I bought the 24’. Those new bikes are super, super impressive!
@@ProfessionalMonkey bro I can’t believe you haven’t!!! You need to!! Now I will say, it may not be as big of a change for you. But I’m coming back to Harley after owning an Indian. And this new Roadglide just puts my Indian to shame!
It's cool to see the dealers on your travels. Might not interest you but it'd be cool if you also visited other dealers (Triumph, Royal Enfield etc) to compare what they do and see if there is stuff HD can learn from them ( or the other way around).
Singapore is just amazing, when I was there 12 years ago I learnt a few things, any new vehicle required you to purchase a COE (certificate of entitlement) which then cost $30,000, then the tax on a vehicle was 125% , thats the reason why you only see taxi's and high end cars...there is so so much money there! The casino requires residents to pay $200 to go in but visitors free. And the fines.... near my hotel was a waterway with a bridge over, underneath was a pathway, if you was a cyclist you had to dismount and push the cycle, if you got caught cycling under the bridge it was a $1000 fine... one final thing, a LOT of the police walk around in PLAIN clothes so you don't know who they are till they bust you! It is a democracy so you can say what you want....however, if you say something against the government publicly you are lighty to lose your job!
It's interesting to see what the harley dealer are like in other countries. Some are omg and some are yeah it looks like the Canadian and US harley dealers.
Did you pick up ya a tee shirt or poker chip? My son will be in Singapore Saturday for his work. He’s going to be there about a week. Don’t know what city he’s going to be in. Be safe and enjoy my friend.
Yeah the Club scene in Asia is much, much different than in the USA for sure. It wasn’t uncommon to see US 1%er’s MC supporting local MC’s and vise virus in poker runs and other events. It is kinda cool. I enjoyed it while I was there.
We can't have anything good in the states because if you check its way, cheaper in foreign countries! I always hated the time changes as I went to Europe or the Far East. Only place I've not gotten I wanted to go is Australia. Can't afford it now! One piece of fruit, now you learn the two the banana might of been better because it's enclosed. Have you noticed tge heavy Harleys for the size of the people? I always hear how Harleys are so heavy or big. Here proof if you want to ride one you buy one! Thanks, this makes me want to go visit again..Always loved the P.I.
@Professional Monkey congratulations for the success of your channel. It was really cool to you in the Advanblack video. That was like the premiere of your seat right? I am happy for you and I am glad you’re getting those kind of opportunities.
Hot and humid in the PI and Singapore? Surely you jest! And you're right about not drinking the water. Drink the local beer instead, which I'm sure you are good at. I'm glad I'm not travelling like you, because I'd have a warehouse full of dealership shirts from around the world.
You should set up a venmo account or something for people to send you money to bring back poker chips from international dealerships that there is a less than zero percent chance we will ever get to visit.....
Love the travel videos. Traveled around the Pacific a lot courtesy US Navy and more recently traveled quite a bit around the US for work. I’m curious to know what you do for a living after seeing all of your travel, but understand it’s probably better not to say. 😅
Thanks for taking the time to show us places We'll probably never get to go Monk, So do the Harley stores have poker chips as well in Southeast Asia? Or just t shirts for tourists. Cheers from the Great White North 🇨🇦

TJ, come to Northern Ireland, Belfast. We have 1 Harley dealer, and Titanic museum 😅. I could do a tour for you around the country. Would love to meet you.
If you should buy one of this and planning to settle in Philippines, you should move to more provincial area where the traffic is not chaotic as the Manila metro.😃
It is totally fine 😂 good to see you made it safely the first leg. Too bad you haven't had enough time to rent a bike in Manila and ride it around. That would be a fun video 😂 given the distance and timezones you traveled, you look decent . Lots of fruits and water, boss. Stay safe🤙

Never thought about the women’s shirts but you’re absolutely right. If they did have the location on them it was a little circular logo. Hmmmm
Nice to see the HD shops there. The one in Hong Kong bit average. Like your work mate 👍
If you are still there check out Santosa island. Was cool when I was there in my navy days.
I spent six months in India (experienced by then) and didn't get sick once, because of the list of "to do's" you stated. Thanks for sharing, Ride Free
Exactly. I love India.
I enjoy your videos from other countries. Including the visits to HD shops. Thanks !

You have to be rich to afford a Harley in Asia. They have some of the best street food (Michelin star) there and cheap hope you check it out.

The Singapore store had only a few "American sizes" as the lady said, but the shirts were very "hell yeah, brother" if you know what I mean.

seeing the diff dealerships are definitely cool!
The 2020s version of arm chair traveling. Very Cool.
