I'm super excited to share my next texturing tutorial which is coming out soon, here's a hint: Howl's Moving Castle. :O!! If you want to master stylized and anime-style texturing in Substance Painter, Join my course here: bit.ly/31QPGlq
Your tutorial was super helpful! I used a bunch of the tips to make my scene. Thanks for the help! The piece I used the techniques in - www.artstation.com/artwork/OokZAK
Why did you have two meshes in Substance. One LowPoly and one HighPoly? Is the highpoly one to texture on and bake so you can then use that texture on the lowpoly one???
Exactly! The high poly is just here for baking. This way you can keep a low poly version of your asset and gain more performances, with all the details of the high poly
Not bad at all. Could go more detail into the sculpting and putting high poly to low poly part. I suspect all the sculpting could have been done in Blender as well.. It has alpha sculpting brushes. I understand that it's a great tool, but when you have the same stuff in Blender just need to learn them it could be a viable path later on..
I didn't understand about 4:50 . What happened to the wood object that is on the ground? Did you use the wood design as a material or it is used as a 3D object? You used 5:45 the same wood design on the shelves. I didn't understand this. If you use it as a wood material design, how did you do it?
Hi! I just baked my high poly on my low poly objects in Substance, then I textured them. After exporting textures, I just drag and dropped them in Blender on the low poly meshes I unwrapped
blender does all of those things but not everyone prefers the way it does those things. you can stick with one main program or use multiple ones. either way the success and joy comes down to the artist rather than the tools.
According to your setup, Blender can start to lag faster than Zbrush for a same polygons count. It's because Zbrush uses pixols which are a lot less consuming than pixels in a 3D space. So, you can make high polys better and easier.
According to flippednormals youtube channel they believe that blender can handle large poly count and large scenes. How many polygons can blender handle before crashing?
Came here cause was interested in how she made the rug on the stairs, but just like many other objects, it wasn't shown, not even explained. Such a disappointment...

nice. I especially like the Orb brush lazy mouse trick.
And that's how every tutorial should look like
Coolest cozy room I've ever seen!
really nice, i hope to be able to recreate this tutorial one day
Very nice!
Stylized stuff is way different from realism. You need to reimagine things rather than replicate them. Very nice tutorial! Thanks!)
This is very helpful. Ty
so beautiful
Can't wait to see the complete tutorial
this is a dope tutorial
That feel when someone uses your book prop as a reference XD (the open one)
Thanks for sharing this! I readed a breakdown article about it, but the video helps a lot to understand some gaps! Awesome!
Wow!
Thank you Anastasia and Thomas
Keep it up broskie you da man
O.o oh noooo I've been bamboozleed it's another guest speaker this time nuuuuuuuu she sounds lovely tho haha
Great job!
this was so well done, everything in a neat short packet!! def coming back to this later
Very nice workflow and calm output. Keep up the good work ^^
Looks cool. Thank you!
Amazing work!
So nice 😍
Bravo! Wonderful result, and I found a lot of neat ideas for me to try on my work. Well done!!
Most amazing ontent! S oinformative, and your skills are so amazing!
@3:46 planks how do you make the straight lines?
Really nice work. Just wondering, how long did this take you from concept to completion?
How did she make the low poly trigon models in Blender? Did she use the deformation modifier?
Such a good tutorial! Im trying to get the god rays to work but they seem to disappear whenever i go to cam view. Anyone know how to fix this?
Have you tried to increase the intensity of your volume ?
I got it to work! It was just a clipping issue
Your tutorial was super helpful! I used a bunch of the tips to make my scene. Thanks for the help!

subscribed and that was amazing, just one question - are these models being used in games or moves? or its a part of the concept?

OMG!!!
Okay kinda confused do you unwrap before or after sculpting

Good tutorial, but why is there a super loud sub bass sound all the time in the background?
Damn, how does she takes the Zbrush sculpt to Blender? Does she use retopology or does she bakes it into textures?
This is awesome btw !!!!!

@@AnastasiaKasyanik now THAT'S something I'd like to learn!!!
Thanks for answering me :)
is it necessary to learn multiple softwares for modelling sculpting, texturing and other things?

What specifically does zbrush offer you that blender can not do in your workflow?

There is no defined limit. This is more a hardware question
What was used in the reference display? Sorry.

@@AnastasiaKasyanik thanks good sir.
