this is a godsend. I have always wanted to do 3D environments but felt super overwhelmed. It is nice to see a straightforward breakdown of all your steps!!
I love that she makes it looks so easy, meanwhile I can be struggling on some of these things she's doing in minutes for hours. This is some pure raw talent here!
More character creation if possible? I know it's quite a daunting process but there aren't many tutorials on youtube about it that aren't just timelapses. Edit: Where are my manners? 🤣 Thanks a lot for the tutorials, your channel is amazing!
I've got a really awesome character creation video coming up soon some time this month. But you're right they're hard to come by, I can start asking some artists if theyre interested in more character art tutorials!
Please consider making something about sculpting and painting stylized fur on animal characters. Even a quick tips, not necessarily entire character would really help.
Cool. I can't use most of the tools, and would be more interested in UV setup and how models are unwrapped, especially if there are more objects in the scene. Currently I only use blender for modelling and krita for painting, I fake all the maps with texture painting.
Yes, I think you and her can do all of this just in Blender! I personally think she wastes too much time changing softwares as well, but it is the way like she likes to do.
Thank for sharing your workflow, i would like to ask something about the texture resolution do you have some advice about that?, what resolution do you recoment if the mesh is going to be use on a game for example. by the way sorry for my bad English
~Whilst beeing fully professional and showing my upmost respect for the work, the artist *and* Stylized Station~ I have to say. This is the cuttest voice I have ever heared in my entire life.
Hi! Could you give me a bit more information about how you did your water? I'm doing a surface for water that isn't flat, but needs that look while also being cut on the sides to look like you can see under the water. What material did you use for it? What would you recommend? I only have maya as a tool I can use for it and it's cartoonish.
Hasta aquí se te nota lo Latina xd deberías hacer vídeos en español, aunque quizás los hiciste en inglés para tener un mayor alcance pero excelente video :')
Hey ! Thanks for sharing with us and good job on this one. I would like to ask a question here : UV overlap is a good thing but, as you sculpted the whole bridge didn't you get bothered by losing one side of the details when you baked your normal/AO etc ? (unless you sculpted with symmetry on ^.^)
Great tutorial. I also would like to know how to work with vegetation ( drawing leaves in photoshop and applying on UV and then? how to control opacity ?) if someone knows please share a link for tutorial)
I though woman who loves 3d art are just a myth from the old legend story 😍 amazingggg!! Many woman that i know, dont even like using computer. Not to mention 3D art, they hate it *heartbroken*
There is a lot of free software out there. Hexagon 2.5, for example, is an easy program to get started Nvil is also very powerful and affordable. You can always complement your workflow to meet your needs and preferences.
Do you prefer Marmosets baking to substance painter's baking? If so, why? I've always struggled with getting the High low bakes to work well in substance painter (lots of artifacts) but in the new 2020 version I haven't had any of those problems yet
The end result isn't really beginner level, but the video is aimed at beginners who want to learn the stylized environment workflow :) Just to give people a reference of what they should be doing.
Not related to this video but did your channel recently add 3 video's on handpainting textures? If so what happend to them? They where suddenly gone from my video list.
Nice looking assets but your workflow is a bit dated and you could be doing all of this with very little import/export fuzz and costly apps for 1 task.
This is a little over beginners, i feel like she went a little overboard by using too many softwares, bc then you'd have to learn how those softwares work. But this is more or less the way stylise art is done
good lord this is actually what beginners just want to know how to freakin start a project thank so so much for sharing. bless you.
Glad it was helpful!
"hey, uh... where do i start?"
the replies: *hit "create new."*
I feel u man, & agree
When she said "Now i will begin to texture paint" it already looked like a beautiful finished artwork
you guys are pumping out quality content like its nothing...this is awesome!
All thanks to the amazing artists who are willing to spend their time to share their knowledge :) All credit goes to the community.
Thanks!

All i can say is "mind blown and well done" ❤️🔥
i just don't know but the wording and presentation is balanced and to the point that this truly is simple yet effective.
She´s my modeling teacher at school :))))))))))))))
hey guys this channel is amazing !!
Great breakdown! Well done. :D
I think we can reduce most of the time using substance painter.
Your work is amazing and Stunning Colours.🤗
Thank you! Cheers!
What a wonderful video, you made a very cool diorama!)))

Hermoso, gracias!
Brilliant.
I absolutely don't understand anything you said in the video, but I enjoyed watching it XD

easier that way tbh, but Alexandra enjoys that process so she's fine. I try to avoid uv unwrapping with my life.
I really recommend all begginers to learn how to unwrap a UV
Excelente video
I love it 👏
Please have a tutorial for UE4.
Really inpiring! And really nice workflow!
Think I could make all of this using just Blender too :D
You can do it!
Yes, I think you and her can do all of this just in Blender! I personally think she wastes too much time changing softwares as well, but it is the way like she likes to do.
Is there a more step by step tutorial for how you created the model? And the materials you used on the model in Maya?
I just understand you used Blender and Substance but. What program did you use 2:26 ? Also, Blender cannot do what you did in this xxx program there?
This was excelleent
Glad you enjoyed it :)
The accent 😍😍
Waiting with greeedddd!!!
Hope you enjoyed!
For ANYONE struggling with texturing in Substance Painter, I've got your back

I wish they would do blender. I can't afford any of these software.
This can all be done in blender :)
@N o any material you could link me? I just finished on the beginner cgboost course
Autodesk have a studend version of Maya for free , have the same functions as the comercial one
@N o whoa that's a lot! Thanks so much

6:04, the inconsistent naming really triggers my OCD.... But apart from that, great video!
hahaha, you're right, lets remake the video
I don't work with 3d but i really like the video because it's interesting XD
Glad you liked it!
this stuff just blows my mind, exactly what I'm aiming for. however, if this is beginner level, what does that make me? lol

Do you have the 3d stl file?
Your voice is super cute and pleasant :)
how do you export HP and Lp mesh from marmoset back into Maya
Usas blender cierto?

can a blender user follow this tutorial ??
why would you bother animating in maya when the blend file can just be placed as is in unity. and edited on the fly and re animated
i wish i had your mind:0

Those will be released eventually, just waiting on some permission stuff from the artist's studio :) Should be released soon.
Great content but I'll say what everyone is thinking: her accent is so beautiful!
It is diorama, not environment
