There is no one diet that works for all body types. However I agree that the mindset to change, is the fundamental drive. What works for me is 16/8 intermittentfasting, clean eating 5 days a week ( I still need to spend time w my family and friends on weekend). Add 10k steps every day, and calisthenics 2 days a week.
I eat most of the time between 11:00-12:00 and 6:00pm. I walk in the mornings 3-5 miles and drink water. Run my errands after. I am not hungry - then eat.
What if you eat twice a day. Start at 0800, and finish soon afterwards, and your last intake is eaten by 1900, let's say you start at 1800. You go to bed at 2200 BUT the stomach takes 5 hours to empty, - not ideal
just eat more, usually, I feel that fats gives more satiety, so I just go for fatty meats or eggs with cheese and bacon, but you can eat good carbs too, potatos, fruits , salad
I eat small meals 6-7 times a day in a 10-12,hr window. It's all what you eat and burn, or store. A muscular person will need more quality meals more times a day, than a higher adipose tissue person. As an individual, you have to find what is best specifically to you. Be it's hard for science to recreate exact controls with people as there are billions of diversities that exist. SO people do well on short fast while other on long fast. Although the information is great, Take it all with a grain of salt, as We are all different.

Don't eat any carbs. Stick to protein and fat only. If you want carbs, a nice salad with olive oil. Thats it.
