Cayenne pepper also helps with nutrient absorption but with less inflammation than black pepper.
So fun to watch someone that is excited about wonderful things that do great things for us. 😃

Lovely content . Dr .Li talks straight to the point .
I wonder if he had a recommended food list for Hashimoto’s thyroiditis
great listening to this advice. thank you so much.
Taiwan has the best quality tea in the world. I am from Taiwan and like to listen to Dr Li share his wisdom of health.
Agreed! There are great varieties of tea available in Taiwan, even the tea bag teas are good quality tea.
I’m living in Thailand. I would like to order some good tea from Taiwan. I wish I knew when I was traveling through there last week is there any recommended brands you drink?
I ordered his books ! Can’t wait to get it !
It was an enjoyable lecture. I loved it DR.LI🥰
Great video 👍👍
Valuable info presented in bite sizes..👍🌺
Thank you very much much Dr Chatterji 🙏
Good info. Would love to know more about how to cook veggies to gain nutritional benefits.
Love you both But Are we getting reruns I’ve not seen any new videos in a while
Green tea with black pepper and lemon juice 💯
So much too learn!! Love all the information!! Would coconut milk combine with almond milk will be ok with green tea and matcha?
This is exactly how I prepare my Avacado Toast!! I toast the Tomato slices with olive oil , sprinkle Basil and ,drizzle with balsamic reduction on the Avacado toast!! Getting the health benefits & great taste!!!
Thank you so much for sharing that! That was such intriguing and educational information.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
that sounds delicious 😋
Enjoyed this immensely! What about milk or cream in coffee? Does it decrease the benefits of coffee also vs black coffee? ❤your podcast and Dr. Li ❤
To increase EGCG you want to eat it away from meals and without fat. Additional ways to increase absorption would be by adding a little bit of black pepper and it was found that taking Ascorbic acid or citric acid (vit c) with green tea massively increased the absorption of EGCG. I either take one of my vit c supplements around the time I have my tea or more often I add the juice of 1/2 a lime or lemon for the citric acid.
Do hot peppers accomplish this same goal? Say I were to reach in my freezer and take a chomp out of a fresh frozen jalapeño, would I be primed for better absorption?
The variation between combinations of foods and nutrients (not to mention the timing of when they’re consumed) is astounding to me. How little we really know but have the ability to find out. What a time to be alive!
Huh. I had heard it was the proteins in milk that bound to the catechins, making cream preferred. Earned the like!
Please provide research that demonstrates milk fat globules binding polyphenol from Tea.
What about coconut milk in tea?
Great conversation thanks 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤❤
A question: I thought green tea had catechins, but black tea (due to the fermentation process) has theaflavins. So, does cow milk also bind the theaflavins in black tea?
How much black pepper is required for efficacy of assisting in curcumin absorption?
New here🤗 can you use pure Stevia in your tea? Is stevia bad? thanks
What about coconut milk or coconut cream ?? I’m assuming it has the same effect on tea and coffee ?? Fat trapping the polyphenols ?
I just started putting soy milk into my black tea and I like it.
For about 5 years now I haven’t had dairy. I love soy milk in my coffee but not in tea. I’m used to drinking it black now. Glad you enjoy it anyway. Soy milk is very beneficial to health.
I need more info for the milk tea from thailand I can’t find anything on my research it just comes up thai tea
There are always those who deny it, of course we know that it is only, possible to safely buy any kind of food from a controlled organic farm. But not everyone can do this. And that would be good. There wouldn't be so many sick people.
There is a lot of vitamin D deficiency in Australia because we are all so scared of skin cancer.
u dont need to stay exposed to sun by hours, 15-20 min/daily is sufficient for people with white skin. people with dark skin absorb less vitamin d from sun so they need to stay longer
There are supplements.
Animals are out in the sun whole day .They dont get cancer . 20 to 30 mins per day is best. Dont get scared. Think inclusive . Include more diff types of foods ..include vit D thro sunlight or take cod liver oil. It has Vit A D and Omega 3 fatty acids
The negative of taking your tea black is that it's high in oxalates, with the potential for developing kidney stones. The calcium in milk binds with the oxalate so that it's not absorbed.
You might consider switching to organic green tea or white tea.
Would goats milk have the same effect as cows milk?
That's an old story and so untrue.
Hello. Where kind I find the milk tea from Thailand??? Is it tea bags or powder ???❤
He mentioned this special milk tea is in Taiwan
So I wanted to ask the Dr(s), nowadays fruit and veg are so fortified isn’t it better to take supplements alongside them in general? Organic food is good but not everyone can afford them all the time.
👍🏻👍🏻
The seeds and skin of the tomato, at least as far as Dr. Gundry is concerned and as much as I love tomatoes, is very bad for arthritis ….perhaps one of the worst things, as well as the fact that it penetrates the gut and adds to IBS.
I have a hard time believing anything Gundry says because he's always got a product to sell.
What about meat
I like the common senses tone here. So many snake oil salespeople online..
When tomatoes are ripe, It is a nightshade.

DOCTOR, HÁBLANOS A TODA LATINOAMÉRICA EN ESPAÑOL..A MUCHOS LOS INTERESA. SUS PUBLICACIONES; PERO NO ENTIEN DEN EN INGLES. GRACIAS.
😅 fish don’t make omega 3 - call it what it is - algae oil. Only plants can make omega 3. Also flax, chia, hemp, walnuts.
Lectins are in the tomato skin and seeds .. We shouldn't eat .
Please research how lectins are destroyed when you use a pressure cooker.
Tea causes reflux severe reflux.
Plant based diet gets rid of reflux. Just try. No oil or very little of it and no animal food.
With plant milk and plant diet you will see big difference
@@muabaguy7115 thank you
Not for everyone. It doesn’t for be. I have heard of anyone generous from tea. Do you drink it without adding anything?
@@sugarplumk2381 yes , could it be not having a gallbladder?
I do t do olive oil for multiple reasons- 14% saturated fat. Just eat some tofu or chickpeas or nuts with it. No need to trash your arteries. The other thing is that most of the olive oil on the shelves isn’t even olive oil. I choose whole unprocessed foods with the fiber left intact. No oil. The other thing is that olive oil goes rancid and it’s very expensive. Best bet? Eat some tofu with the cooked tomatoes.
All plant oils will go rancid quickly but ultra-processing them and adding unnatural chemicals to them will make them much worse for your health..A diet high in natural fats and low in carbs is much healthier for most people. Thre is zero evidcne that saturated fat trashes your arteries. Cholesterol is naturally created in your body as and when it is needed.
Avocado is fine for men and young women. For older women it may increase the risk for breast cancer. Because of the chemicals sprayed on the crops. Info from Harvard.
Buy organic avocado!
😮
🤷♀️
It’s what ya sayin is true Surely then women at any age shouldn’t have it ? Can get it at any age ?
If what ya sayin is true Surely then women at any age shouldn’t have it ? Can get it at any age ?
This guy is a scam he doesn’t even know how horrible almond milk is.
I am so excited to try this Taiwanese milk, tea! If anyone knows where to get it or has a link, please share. 🫖
