Looks good man! I did the diode dynamics max fog on my JK & man they are bright. I can totally drive without headlights. Makes my KC gravity pro heals lights look dim on low beam & they have a nice projector low beam.
Really love how the amber is anti-eye fatigue too.

totally agree with the silver "garnish". It's terrible. SR5s looks way better without. The black is cool especially when paired with the heritage grill.
I just bought TRD Pro Black Valences & Roof Rack Rails to replace the Silver ones my 2017 TRD Off Road (Nautical Mettalic Blue) came with. Also went online and found black out kits for the badging on the grill, tail gate and side "TRD Off Road" badge. Not a fan of the Plasti Dip and definitely do not have the patience. Just finished doing my last mod yesterday. Morimoto XB Led Headlights & Tail lights. Other Mods Ive done: Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires, Fuel Enduro D608 Rims, Bilstein 5100 2.5" level kit, Alpine Halo ilx F309 for 4runner head unit, JL Audio Speakers all around, K&N Cold Air Intake and some small things on the interior.

I love my Jeep, but I'm strongly considering a 5th Gen 4Runner as a second offroad vehicle.
Man that kayak style track mount on the dash was an awesome idea. But I'm not sure about pulling out the radio and putting 10 holes in the dash lol.
I regretted it after 67 Designs came out with a rail a few months after haha. I have a video on that too
@@BaptismOverland Yeah so far my phone is on a suction cup mount that attaches to the dash. It's angled downward so it doesn't block any views.I hate stuff coming off the glass. I've been debating doing something more permanent.

Why not use the 3m adhesive tape?
It holds vehicle panels up - it is extremely strong. But you can remove it with work later, leaving no mark - or screw holes.
There is no way I would drill those holes in my dash. That made me cringe.
@@brianmartin1139 yeah. No reason to do that considering adhesive tape holds on vehicle panels and other attachments, permanently. But, people only do what they are told. Someone told him to drill holes. Maybe as a child. So he still does it.
@@johnmadsen37 I always have bad luck with 3M tape and there are going to be a TON of devices that are going to be on this thing that will push it way off center of gravity (iPad, phones, cameras) and that tape will just come right off because you're sticking it on to vinyl which has textured properties that don't allow for strong bonding. Maybe someone told you you can use 3M tape everywhere. Maybe as a child. So you still do it.
@@brianmartin1139 Normally I wouldn't drill into the dash as well but as long as the install is clean and almost stock and not something you'll be removing. The rail system from Ram Mount looks OEM...it's not obnoxious and you can build off of it.
You forgot the rims, the other areas coming along great and looks much better.
Wheels and tires, roof rack and side steps are the next 3

Great video..after you removed everything for the phone mount was there anything under where you screwed it in?? Can I mount it without taking everything out like you did? Thank you
Yeah there was nothing under there. There are some wires nearby and a metal rail if I remember correctly BUT once you take out the front dash you'll be able to see better where you can or shouldn't drill
@@BaptismOverland I am planning to do the same mount. Did you use machine screws with nuts and wide washers? I am curious how think and stiff the dashboard plastic is and if it bends or can rip up from the weight of the RAM mounts with the phone hanging on it, while the truck goes over bumps. Thank you, great video! Also love the amber fog lights and that is my next project.

Pretty much yes! Cuz I have BDs on the Jeep and the output on the DDs are definitely envy worthy

Does anyone know how to apply Plasti Dip? I've watched several videos and nobody applies it the same way. Any of you guys actually read the directions on the can?
I went based on can instructions. Thin coats at a time
Did you find anything that might get in the way of installing and screwing down the rack for the ram mount? I know as a precaution you removed the electronic components of the dash but I’d like to avoid having to do that if at all possible if there’s nothing the screws will damage under the rack. Thanks in advance.
There was space. Tons of it actually so nothing got in the way

The grille style where the emblem is , is that aftermarket because I just got 4Runner and it doesn’t look like that .
It's stock. Different trims I think for diff models. Is yours a TRD Off Road?

Did you do LED DRLs/High Beams as well? Do they have the issue with flickering?
LasFit does not have DRL bulbs yet. I wanted to. Check my latest video because I upgrade the headlights again after they sent me their pro version and it’s sickkkk. No flickering either!
@@BaptismOverland thanks, I definitely will! I did see headlight revolution/xenon depot has a DRL/high beam kit with a converter so it actually works as a DRL without flickering, but haven’t seen anyone use them yet.

Paint wise, nothing. Because remember plastidip is meant to be peeled off when you don't want it anymore. But def clean it first with soap and water then with denatured alcohol to get rid of oil and grime.
Valance color goes hand in hand with wheel color. Personally I cant agree that black wheels look good, need to have some color not all black like a 70's base model pickup truck .. But interior looks terrible silver, needs to be black or carbon fiber.
Agreed on all fronts. I might go bronze. I love bronze wheels

Man I just started following you, then I see the Toyota .... Thank goodness your keeping the jeep, which by the way is almost identical to ours, getting a 2.5” lift in the very near future and the Gobi is on order, not the mention the color. That being said keep up the good content.
I’m too far gone in the Jeep to give it up hahaha and that Jeep is ultra capable. Has gotten me through a lot. Def an emotional connection to it which I hope to one day pass on to my son

Normally yes but this is the wife's rig and she had some creature comforts she wanted. Tint isn't a dire need lol. Everyone has their own opinions what to do first
